An incredible spot for a chill day out. My fiancé and I came for New Year's Day looking to continue our tradition of wings, beer, and football. Peanuts was the best spot in NSB to post up and watch some football. The bartender, Danny (a local celebrity I'm told) and all the staff, was so friendly and inviting. The regulars there are just as friendly, we made fast friends here. The wings are INCREDIBLE, and definitely using handmade sauces. We had the old bay dry rub, hot garlic, and the sweet and tangy sauce wings, they were crispy and delicious! Drinks and food are affordable. I'd come back for the staff and the vibes alone, but the delicious food is an added bonus. P.S: the back patio on a beautiful day is where it's at. We have been coming here for years and the owner is great! Can't believe I just tried the scooter wings today but they were the BEST wings I've ever had. The new bar out back is a great addition and my family enjoys our time at Peanuts! It's a no frills, great company and fantastic drinks! I am gonna go on my rant, and I'm gonna keep doing this until BRANDON is fired. I am a customer that comes in at least 5 times a week. I spend a lot of money between drinks, food and the slot machines. And I tip extremely well . I was in there today I asked a simple question. "Is the USA still in the soccer matches" Because I'm a little naive about what's going on. Needless to say, BRANDON THE MANGER WAS SHITFACED, he went off on a rant. How uneducated i was and I need to research. And he called me I IGNORANT, HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE RUNNING THAT BAR AND HE TREATS A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT IS INEXCUSABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE.it's bad enough that he did that so everybody can hear it, but the fact that it was a drunk manager that's supposed to be in charge of THE RESTAURANT IS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR NO EXCUSES. Fun little beach town bar. We love the bingo/auction on Tuesdays. Dive bar for sure. Great gathering place after a day of sun & fun.

We love this place. But the music is WAY TOO LOUD at 4 in the afternoon. You can't even speak to one another. Just turn it down a little. Especially during dinner hours. Crank it up later before the band shows up, but bleeding ears is no fun. read more

Familiar with NSB but had not been to Peanuts previously. Definitely a must. Wings advertised as the "best" so of course we had to try. I have to say really are! Meaty and crisp. Service by Ashley and Mike was great as well. Dive bar with tons of tvs and outside area also that has its own bar and tables. A must try. read more

My husband and I, my parents, along with my niece and her boyfriend recently stayed near Flagler Ave, our first visit to the area. We love dive bars, and this place is the true definition of such and is the only one of its kind on Flagler Ave. This tended to be the busiest place on the street and was obviously frequented by locals along with tourists. At first we liked the bar because it was the only one we could find nearby with gambling machines, plus the divey look and feel. Unfortunately at this busy bar, we had two completely unprovoked negative interactions on two separate occasions, both parties having been very inebriated locals seemingly looking for a fight. One episode was with a mean older couple (literal band groupies) who thought my niece was stealing one of their chairs at the bar (just as she was attempting to pay our bill and leave, with us standing behind her); the woman pushed my niece out of the way of the seat, proceeded to be rude and demeaning to her despite our repeated attempts to explain we're paying the bill to leave, and not trying to steal their seats or obstruct their view of the band located just behind us. The interaction was quite comical. The other episode was with a middle aged man that was incredibly scary and too much to relay here. My point is that I don't doubt that this unprovoked meanness and inappropriate negativity, potential violence happens routinely here. While I understand the aforementioned has nothing to do with Peanuts itself--there are no reasons that I can find that would make me want to return. Staff weren't consistently attentive and easily ignored those waiting to get a drink, plus the slots didn't pay out much. Came here for lunch today. Wife had the codfish sandwich with fries. She said it was very good. I had the bleu cheese and bacon burger, garlic Parmesan wings and a side salad. I ordered the bleu cheese burger rare and that is how it came out. While a bit salty for my taste (I use very little salt) it was very good. Garlic parmesan wings were very good. Ok I was actually super impressed with this spot! My boyfriend has been wanting to stop by here, so we did after a day at the beach with friends. The bar was your typical beach bar space. There were plenty of people watching football (it was a Sunday) and the atmosphere was your average loud and exciting space. The menu wasn't huge, but my expectations were blown out of the water. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. She always got refills and perfectly placed our order as a table of four from memory. For an appetizer, we got the Mexican street corn dip. I can't recommend it enough! The portion was large and it was so so tasty! It was cheesy and had all the flavors of elote. Plus, the tortillas for dipping were freshly fried. Everything was obviously made in house and it was so good. For mains, I actually got two apps. I got the Buffalo chicken tenders and tots. My boyfriend got 10 wings in a ghost honey sauce that he raved about. Our friends each got burgers. Everything was perfectly prepared, obviously fresh, and so so tasty. Even for bar food, I was really impressed. I also felt like the food had good value because the prices were decent and the portions were huge. We are definitely coming back next beach trip! Went last Friday night with friends who were renting a house in town and heard a great live band. Even saw an old license plate which belonged to me from 2003 on the wall. This is a smokers bar. It was grandfathered in to allow smoking. It's really a shame because they do have good music and other events but there is no way I'd eat there and I'm glad they only serve drinks in plastic cups cause at least I know they're clean! The place has a general feeling of being grimy, just look at the windows to see what I mean. So enjoy the music have a drink and a dance but skip the food and if you don't like to be in a smokey place I would recommend you stay away. This place has become a non smoking venue! Number one dive bar on Flagler this place provides a great place to meet up with friends for a few drinks and conversation the wings are good and the bands are awesome this place is the happening place on the weekends. The service has always been good and they pour great drinks. Remember where you are it's a local hangout in a small beach town with lots of tourist we love it and apparently it works because everyone wants to be here it can get crowded and loud and that a place of the experience If you're in town on vacation enjoy the local vibe you should experience it. I am torn with this review because I want to give the food four stars and the waitresses 1. We went twice during our July 4th trip. First time I got pizza and wings. Pizza didn't come for two of us, waitress made a mistake. So by the time I got my pizza, I had eaten wings and was stuffed. What a waste the pizza was delicious. Then check time, the waitress got two bills extremely mixed up. We did not sit by our boyfriends which did make it confusing, but I still don't understand how extra items that were never ordered we were charged for. Then when we they tried to tell the waitress, she refused to listen and finally said, "Well I don't want you guys getting mad so I'll take it off". NOOOOO, you should take it off because this person never ate pizza and this other person didn't eat pizza either. That was definately the wrong thing to say. In the end, it still wasn't resolved. A gin and tonic ended up costing one person 3 dollars and 12 dollars for another. Waitress was rude. Went again another night to play pool, a different waitress but flighty as well. But dang that spinach artichoke dip and homemade chips were yummmyy! I guess I might go again and hope I don't get the two waitresses from before. read more

We came for the live auction on Tuesday night and It. Was. Awesome!!!!! They have over 200 items that they auction off, and its so entertaining. We walked away with a game of Balderdash, baseball cards (clearly not the girls bid), a picture and a little radio with moving lips...high light of the evening folks for $3! We're locals and stop in to play pool / listen to live music a few times a year. The bartender is the absolute worst in town! He ALWAYS acts as if he's doing you a favor waiting on you. Last night there was a young dark haired girl behind the bar and she literally stood in front of me taking her time drinking a cup of water. I waited and waited and she never bothered to wait on me! Our group of 7 got great service from the blond and a newbie in the pool table area. I've always thought the guy might own the bar & can do as he pleases however we asked & ghats not the case. FYI out of our group every one of us has experienced issues at different times over the years with this bartender- he should be fired! I checked out Peanuts to watch a football game. They have lots of big screen TVs, so it was a decent option. I ended up going to Flagler's Tavern, though, because there were more lunch options -- the menu at Peanuts is pretty limited to basic bar food. Later in the week, we stopped in for a late drink. It was early December and a little slow, but we had a good time. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. They offer a TV-based trivia game you can play from the bar, but mostly we talked with some of the locals. It seemed like a fun place, but they did close up early, probably because it was a slow time. read more
