Great neighborhood brewery! It's so nice to live in the suburbs and have someplace you can walk to.

Wasn't impressed with this place. Food wasn't that tasty and it was pricey. Outside is a nice atmosphere and u can bring your dog.

Menu is on the smaller side but they have some delicious options. Service is generally quick even on busier days. Fun place to go with friends or even coworkers, they have local bands play outside in the warmer months. read more

Great spot in Irondeqoiut! I have been here twice so far and had a lovely experience each time. The beer selection is delicious and they even have some wine or hard ciders if you aren't that into beer. The Bavarian pretzels and salty pizza bread were both delicious. They also offer brunch which I definitely will be back for. They have both outdoor and indoor seating and have even extended their outdoor seating into the parking lot. I am assuming to meet the COVID guidelines and the customer demand. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!! read more

I was here about a year ago for a yelp event and love it but wanted to wait to taste it on a regular day before writing a review. I wish this spot was closer to where I live because I'd swing by all the time! The space is super spacious and very safe for social distancing. They also have a huge outdoor area if you want to venture out to the cold! My boyfriend and I got a couple beers which included the berried alive. I absolutely love this one! If you're not into the hoppy type beers (which I'm not), this is the one for you. It's sour but also has a sort of mild sweetness. Yum! I'm not much of a drinker though and don't remember what else we got so onto the food! We got the pretzel with both types of dips (a cheese and a mustard dip) and the poutine side winder fries. The pretzels were just soooo yummmies! The pretzel had flavor on it's own which is so rare for giant pretzels, it was wheaty and just yum! The dips though....they were so delicious. That mustard dip is a definite winner, never change it please. The cheese one was also so rich and creamy. The poutine side winder fries is definitely a great accompaniment with beer. The fries were soft on the inside and just so good. The gravy was on the salty side for me but I didn't mind at all. They top everything with huge cheese curds. This place hits on all levels. The atmosphere is cool and casual. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is alway good and new items pop up from time to time that are very unique. Located right in the heart of Irondequoit, along the popular stretch of Titus Ave, the Irondequoit Beer Company provides another fantastic local flavor of brewing to the Rochester area. Despite it being on a stretch of Titus Ave that tends to be pretty commercial, the Once inside, the location has the aesthetic you'd come to expect from a brewery; a larger room with the taps and bar seating at the forefront, and brewing equipment within view to display where the magic happens. What is nice is the separate seating for dining that is connected to said expected aesthetic. It gives an availability to have a "sit down and relax" or a simple sit-at-the-bar, depending on your desires for the visit. Just be aware, if it's a busier night, even in the sit-down area, you'd be hard pressed to have a conversation that didn't have bleed-over from someone else's. The beer selection is of good, healthy, local stock, and includes all kinds of varieties for makes and styles. From lagers to ciders and browns to pinks, there are lots of options to choose from for your pint. Or, if you're the type that can't make a decision - such as myself - then a flight is always a safe bet. There's really no way to go wrong with a selection here. For the food, you're getting a nice mix of available (albeit okay) options; I went with the tacos, Charcuterie and the pub-standard pretzel. Sadly, the serving size of the Charcuterie board left me wanting a bit more, and the taco wasn't anything that stood out amongst others in the area. The pretzel was what you'd expect from a pub/brewery pretzel, so you'd have a safe bet in getting one of those alongside a pint. It's a spot that was still getting its bearings when I went, but was good enough that I want to go back again and have more of their drink offerings - I mean, that's honestly the prime reason to go to a brewery, and they nail that - and give the menu a second shot. read more

I came for a YELP event and had to visit again. The chicken wings are sooooo good, they are crispy, meaty and very flavorful without being drowned in sauce (I usually like a well wetted wing). The kolaches were unimpressive, I thought they would be small with ground sausage. The beer and donut pairing were spot on. If you're unacquainted the ordering is awkward, you can only get beer n donuts at the counter (I want that on the "order here sign") cause we went upstairs to sit then went downstairs and couldn't complete the whole order so we went back upstairs....waste of time and increased the wait for our food. read more

The atmosphere is out of this world. They turned an old town farm into a town brewery and it couldn't pay more tribute to the family who used to live here. Today was the first time I've tried the breakfast- waffles. Yes. Crispy & delicious. Tacos have great flavor & the poutine looked bomb. They mix beer with champagne instead of OJ. Yesssss. Touch less - curbside dinner for the win! Quarantine sucks but being able to support small businesses, get beer and delicious wings to go is probably the best thing about our situation! Shout out to the runner lady who was coming out, asking names and delivering the goods to each car! Aside from that, the food - PHENOMENAL! The wings were so crispy and delicious! Did the greater Rochester area really need another brewery? The correct answer is YES! I went Sunday afternoon after the grand opening. I was blown away. Cute unsuspecting building on the outside. I was told it previously was a barn? Beautiful on the inside. We ordered the queso & chips. Queso was nice and spicy. Obviously I would order something more substantial if you're hungry. Most importantly the beer was fantastic. I tried all ten offerings and my taste buds enjoyed them all. My personal favs were the Milkshake IPA, Three Shores Almond Milk Stout & Fantôme Belgian Dark Ale. They do not fill growlers just yet. If you ever dreamed of being in a mug club they offer it here. My favorite town (I'm biased) just got a brewery. its located inside a refurbished barn and they kept a lot of the natural wood and style. when you walk in to the front door you'll see Betsys stall, to the right is a hang out upstairs overlooking the brewery. to the left is a seating area where you can sit yourself and straight ahead is the bar and a patio outside. the food is amazing and I can't wait to try the other things on the menu. I got the pretzels that come with a honey mustard and cheese, tacos, and Brussel sprouts. wasn't too fond the brussel sprouts only because I like them crunchy not mushy but everything else was great. I've tried the wings which I hate to say but might be better than Murphs :/ I've also tried the swan meat sausage in a bread type wrap which was a little spicy but so good. Ive been here twice and I feel like they have already switched up the menu, which is great to add some variety for the constant goers. Keeps people coming back, especially if they switch up the beer selection. the first time I went I had 4 favorites and noticed the second time I went two of them were gone :( which is ok cause that makes room for more favorites. can't wait to return! read more

Checked this place out for the 1st time on Saturday! Great patio space and lots of shade! Drinks were on point! IBC has a variety of non-alcoholic, hard seltzers and craft beers. Very relaxing scenic atmosphere on Saturday afternoons. The staff are very friendly and attentive. And the food was amazing! We had very fast service. We loved it here and will def be back! This was my first time visiting IBC, and I was highly impressed. First of all, I got a flight of beer and each was lovely! My favorite was one of the IPAs! For food we ordered a salty bread pizza and the special was a Reuben pizza. I kid you not it tasted exactly like a Reuben sandwich but in pizza form! It was incredible and so unique. We also ordered the pickle fries, which were not too greasy and easy to eat a lot of! The decor inside is so fun, and it is a great place to go with friends for a drink and food. read more

Had such a fun time here with our family and friends! Many of us have babies and toddlers and we all had a blast. I enjoyed a cider while my husband had one of their brews. I planned a monthly get together with my coworkers, called four hours before we got there and we received the best quality service! This was my first time here and there was 15 of us they set upstairs and let us have it all to ourselves! I got the bone-in wings and fries those were absolutely delicious! Our servers were wonderful all helping each other and so accommodating! I highly would recommend to have an outing here! Great service, great food, great price! 10/10! I love that we have an amazing brewery 2 minutes from our home! There is so much to love about the space itself. Open and airy in some areas and cozy nooks in others. The beers they offer are all different and it's easy to find a couple that suite your tastes. The food menu is pretty limited but what they do offer has always been tasty. We order the gold wings every time and they are soooo good. Recently because of the pandemic we ordered takeout. It was easy to place an order over the phone and the menu of what is available for takeout(drinks/food) is online. The best part is they load it right in your trunk so there is no contact. I went to this brewery for the first time last week and I was impressed! They have a really cute outdoor area and ample seating inside. I liked the variety of different beers like IPAs, sours, etc. Their menu was also great! I LOVED the idea of the food flight. Pretty typical bar/brewery food (not fancy), but yummy. In town for a funeral a week or so back... a friend recommended this place based on Yelp reviews. The beer was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The menu on the other hand is absolutely laughable. Very small to begin with... certain items sold out and what we were left ordering sucked. One item was inedible. To their credit, it was removed from our bill. I will never order food from here again. Strictly a place to have a beer. Management needs to get a clue and totally revamp the menu. read more

We sat in a loft area upstairs with comfy couches and seats. Great place to hang and relax! The downstairs had large industrial like high-top tables to sit at and perhaps share with others. I just loved this space. The brunch menu looked fantastic! We had wings with stay gold sauce and I'm pretty sure they were the best wings of my life! They were cooked very crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. And I like wings that aren't too big-these we're the perfect size. They had a large selection of their own beers on tap. A beautiful & inviting atmosphere, a diverse range of excellent beers, and good food make for a winning combination at the Irondequoit Beer Company. An old horse barn was tastefully converted into a microbrewery with a warm atmosphere and a pleasant aroma, (unlike many other area breweries that have a stark, industrial feel with concrete and steel and reek of skunky hops). There are mostly dining tables on the first floor but if you head upstairs there are cozy, upholstered seating arrangements which make this an excellent place to catch up with close friends and family. I really appreciate the range of tasty beers IBC offers including porters, stouts, lagers, IPAs, etc. My favorite so far is the almond milk stout, though I also enjoyed the porter - looking forward to trying lighter beers during warmer weather. The vegan wings are really delicious - try them! FWIW meat lovers in our dining party really enjoyed the vegan wings. And a huge kudos to the team who designed the menu because there are a good range of options available for various dietary needs. The only negatives are that the service model is somewhat confusing (you have to order beer at the counter, then go sit, and then a waitress comes to your table), but IBC is still very new and training new employees, so those kinks will hopefully be worked out over time. They also don't sell growlers, crowlers, or canned beer to go, so hopefully this will be offered over time. I would have loved to go home with a crowler of the almond milk stout! Overall this is an excellent addition to the Rochester beer scene as well as the Irondequoit community. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I have been binging on Bar Rescue lately and I'm no John Taffert but we had a great experience. We had hot delicious food in under 15 minutes. It didn't taste frozen or microwaved. I love this Brewery, they are fun always trying something new. During the shutdown they did virtual Bingo which we won once and it was super fun, I wish they would do this again I would be picking up crowlers in a heartbeat. They usually have at least one of each kind of beer on tap (sours, IPA, porter, lager, ale etc) plus they have wine and non alcoholic options so there is generally something for everyone. Their brunch is pretty tasty, the pizza is large enough for 2 or for leftovers. The place is always busy so if you come during peek times seating may be difficult. read more

Pros: They offer several vegan options (yay!), beer was good, bartenders and waitress were friendly Cons: Issues with the quality of the food, issues with the bathrooms, loud atmosphere, too much light at the bar, not enough non-alcoholic options to drink Irondequoit Beer Company is a promising new business, and I'm very happy that they are offering vegan options. I do have some concerns. However, I'm cutting them some slack on the overall rating, because this is a new business, so a few rough edges are to be expected. My wife and I came in on a Wednesday night. The place was quite crowded, and all the tables & seats were occupied (including in the cozy upstairs "loft"). However, we got lucky and were able to grab two seats at the bar. We ordered vegan chicken wings and vegan poutine. The two bartenders were polite and friendly, and we briefly talked with a waitress, who was quite nice, as well. I think the vegan wings are supplied by Kitchen Verde. Our wings were overcooked, with lots of black charring on the "meat". Also, there wasn't really any visible sauce on them. We ordered some extra sauce on the side, but the portion was small. We were provided with a petite metal cup of sauce, and it was only about half full. Also, the sauce itself is a bit... weird. It's not at all similar to typical Buffalo sauce. It's sweet and fairly bland. I would have far preferred the regular orange-colored hot sauce that's traditionally used with Buffalo wings. On the other hand, the vegan blue cheese dressing was excellent (though I wish we had received more celery sticks). The poutine was also a bit weird. The deep-fried potato nuggets were sort-of like tater tots, but apparently made with mashed potatoes. I've really never seen anything like them before. They came with some gravy and vegan cheese on top, but there wasn't nearly enough gravy for the portion, and most of the potato nodules were dry. The whole thing wasn't very good, though my wife liked them a lot more than I did. The environment in the place was quite loud. Maybe they can mount some acoustic panels to mute the noise? And there was bright illumination above the bar area. A little less light would have been nice. Now, about the bathrooms. There is a men's room and a women's room. But since both bathrooms are single-occupancy, why not make them gender-neutral? Doing so would be more inclusive to non-binary customers - and would also improve overall efficiency, since you could choose the other bathroom if one was occupied. Also, there is no visible signal that indicates whether the bathroom is occupied. You just have to twist the door handle to see if the door is locked. I found myself doing this three separate times before I finally found the bathroom to be empty. It would be great to have a little indicator lock that shows "Occupied" or "Vacant". I don't drink alcohol, but my wife had two different kinds of beer and enjoyed them both. I would have preferred if the business offered a wider variety of non-alcoholic options, besides just the Fizz sodas. The diet Fizz cola wasn't very good. Overall, I think Irondequoit Beer Company shows great promise, and I applaud them for including vegan options on their menu. My wife and I will be going there again soon. read more

Really good beer selection. We had a few specials the day we were there. Deep fried raviolis were very yummy. My husband doesn't even like cheese much and he really liked them. I had the special hot honey and pepperoni pizza. Really crunchy bread, unique. Good balanced of spicy and sweet. Would've like the cheese to be more melty. My husband had the wings which were good. Went tonight for dinner and the buzz lived up to the hype. Unfortunately we don't really drink so we went specifically for the food we heard lots about. Many of the outdoor tables are fire pits and it only makes you want to stay longer and eat/drink more. We split a bunch of items and nobody had a single problem or complaint. The kitchen closes at 9:00 so we felt crappy ordering food at 8:45 but they killed it ! It was shocking how well all the meals were. We will be going back and we too will continue to spread the hype. read more
