Chicken Pesto Sandwich with tomato soup

Beautiful patio with delicious food! Wonderful spot for lunch while visiting Pinehurst for the day.

Please enjoy your next meal here!!! I don't understand anyone who is giving less than 4 stars. To be honest, I do not believe the negative reviews at all - we all know there are people who just like to complain or just outright lie. I just left Ironwood, & as always,, I feel like a princess. I could not be happier with any aspect of our experience- everything was absolutely perfect, as it has been every time we come here. I have to say the staff is absolutely fantastic!!! Every single person treated us well. Aiden was our primary server - I cannot say "Thank you" enough for a lovely evening. The food was spectacular! I've never had bib bam bap before - oh my goodness- so delicious! My husband loved the gnocchi. Creme Brûlée was perfect. Wine suggestion was spot-on.

Perfect mix of elegance and ambiance. The service is beyond excellent, and the food is divine! Always order the Lobster Bisque!

This place is living off its old reputation. Massively overpriced for mediocre steaks. My wife's filet was undercooked. My medium ribeye was closer to medium rare. 48 and 68 dollars for steaks on the same level if i bought at kroger and cooked on the grill. We ordered a 21 dollar charcuterie board. It didn't have half the things our waiter said. It didn't have 3 types of salami, but only 1. It was if they looked at what was lying around and dumped on it. It had no crackers. They toasted the same whie btead that they served in a basket. Caesar salad was ok. Drinks were normal high prices. 200 dollars for this after tax and tip. What a joke. They also were understaffed. I forgot to mention that the main reason we went was because my wife picked a scallop dish off their website. My menu had it, but it was missing on my wifes. Found out they got rid of it. Lost my picture of my pitiful steak! It did come with asparagus and whipped potatoes. Ha ha.

It was the special of the day, super delicious

Took over 2 hours to get food and manager was arrogant and a smart ass when confronted about the service.

Brunch buffet is way overpriced! We took my husband for Father's Day & after paying $80 + tip, he left hungry! Will NOT return.

Tuscan Beef Stew was TERRIFIC. Thought I would have to take some home as the portion was huge, but I ate the WHOLE thing!

I'm a bit late in posting this but you know....life. About a month ago we celebrated my birthday…read morewith a dinner at Elliott's. There were 10 of us including my very young grandchildren. We were seated in a back room at a long table, one of three. This room was warm and lovely. One table was already occupied, the other filled up shortly before we finished. From start to finish, our dining experience was wonderful. We did not have to worry about our little ones disrupting other guests, as the other party had little ones too. Our server, Madeline, was absolutely perfect! She was attentive without being intrusive. She had a good sense of humor and guided out decisions for food when we asked. She served us promptly and with a smile and made us feel so welcomed. I wish I could remember what everyone else ordered but I do know that my Pork Schnitzel was incredible! Also huge so I had enough for another meal the next day. When I return I will order the same thing. My husband brought a birthday cake in for me and our server brought that out at the end of the meal with plates and forks for everyone. We forced her to take a piece for her break, which she goodnaturedly did. There is only one tiny tiny thing to mention: It did take a long while for the 5 year old's drink and food to arrive. Not anyone's fault, it was very very busy. But try to explain that to a 5 year old. Rolls were served but they were too spicy for her. Or maybe the butter was spicy? Maybe feed your little ones something beforehand if you go on a busy weekend night, as we did. Kudos to the kitchen for pleasing so many different tastes so much, and for management for hiring Madeline who is a great asset to your restaurant.

Hopping restaurant located on a posh residential street about a mile out of the village. The decor…read moreis eclectic (I dined under a large, colorful Dr. Seuss print) with fairly closely-spaced tables that keep the room buzzing. There's an upscale bar in the entry that had several seats open even when the tables were all full. I started with the crab hush puppies. What's not to like about fried dough after all, but I didn't really get much crab flavor out of them. The buttermilk and corn preparation came through more. The entree was a showstopper, though - grilled elk chops with a pomegranate glaze and country mashed potatoes. They were scrumptious, and the al dente vegetables cooked in with the potatoes gave them a nice toothsomeness. One of the best entrees I've had in quite some time. It's nice when a menu gives you a protein choice you don't see everywhere. Parking is fine, with a paved lot in front and spaces on either side of the adjacent street. Service was welcoming and efficient.

Five stars without hesitation!…read more We were visiting the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area and wanted a local restaurant we could brag about when we got home. Full Moon Oyster Bar delivered. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The seafood was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming. You can tell this is a place that locals love. The highlight of our evening was our server, Justin. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. He/ and teamchecked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Outstanding customer service. If you're anywhere near Southern Pines or Pinehurst, put Full Moon Oyster Bar on your list. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Justin again!

First and foremost: Lauren was absolutely phenomenal. She was a fantastic problem-solver and was…read morespot-on with her attention & service. The problem was that there were many matters that Lauren had to try to mitigate that brought our experience from a four star to a three star: My stuffed salmon was the last of ten meals served & it was so overcooked that the salmon resembled jerky. They offered to make another for me to take to-go, but that did nothing for me in the moment (I still had to navigate a burned meal & we all know that type of meal does not reheat well). Noodles & sauce that came with the dish were very good. The "succotash" was unremarkable. Two plates of King crab legs (an EXTREMELY expensive meal) came with no melted butter - my friends had to ask twice for butter - crab got cold before butter was ever served. Waitress (not Lauren) said full serving costs $120. For some reason, 1/2 serving consisted of two legs, full serving consisted of three legs? We were told a claw would be included as well with the full serving, but then "reassured" that a full serving was indeed received without the claw. Chicken teriyaki was good. Mussels with pasta was good. Apparently. it is "safe" to consume the living red worms that squiggle on the oysters on the half shell, but in all our years in other restaurants with oysters, we've never seen worms moving on our plates. Is that because other restaurants clean off the oysters in a different manner? Is it because other restaurants serve on ice? I honestly don't know, but do know I can't eat wriggling worms. I sincerely appreciate Lauren's attempt to alleviate our concerns. Apparently, there was/is a shortage of glasses, because refills of beer and alcohol came in different sized glasses with each round. One beer refill came in a small brandy-type glass with no explanation. Again, a solution was offered well after the fact, but honestly should not have been necessary. This is not a fault of the waitstaff. The potatoes & slaw that are served with each meal were brought before our drinks were ever served - are they intended to be treated like appetizers? (Just a note: Active Duty military & Federal employees have been advised not to consume poppy seeds - it's ridiculous - but half of our table couldn't eat the slaw (which was unfortunate because the slaw was very good - one of my favorite recipes). Fried dishes were over cooked - extremely dark & tough. Do not forgot to ask what "Market price" is - it may be well over $100 per serving. By the way: their Carolina Colada is now my favorite drink! Delicious!! Look at the back of the menu for the day's drink special.
