The fee for the new battery was reasonable because the battery is not the typical sized watch battery. My watch is now working again. I give this establishment two stars only due to their selection if your buying and not selling! I didn't say it first, but the words came across as a glorified pawn shop in Irvine. I came in with a handful of old jewelry in the higher-end 22-24 karat, and the price of gold was at $1735oz. The gentlemen who helped was Cameron, and after inspection and weighing he offered $1000 dollars for about 50 grams. I asked what you're paying per gram, and he said about $30. Well 30 x 50 is not $1000! I then said I have another appointment with another company to sell, and he did some recalculating and offered $1350. Needless to say, I did not sell to Cameron. I kept my appointment with the other institution in N.B. across from John Wayne Airport, and they gave me $1900 for the same handful of jewelry. Maybe a place to buy, but not to sell!!! read more

Ok. This is a story that was a long time coming. Cameron is one of the most honest and trstworthy guy you can meet. Here is why. I had a baby gold bracelet that I tried selling. After a day, I regretted and I came back to get it. He was fine with it but I had to wait through the hold time. Not only did he not charge me extra, but I did the stupidest thing by dropping the bracelet onto the sidewalk as I left the store. After I got home, I started panicking. I called the store. Cameron was nice enough to check, and he was able to find it. He called me right back, and I came right on over. You can not beat that level of honesty and trust. This place is not to be trusted. I was ripped off big time from this place. I should of went to the police or something. But I didn't know much about collector coins. My Dad past away a few years ago and I found his coin collection. He had so many wheat pennies it was redicculess. Well painstakingly enough. I went threw his pennies and found a 1943 copper Penny. And put a magnet to it and it was not metal. From my research it must of been bronze. I also found a few metal 1943 pennies that he said are not worth his time. At the time. So to make a long story short. I took some of the coins to this place and sold them not knowing what I had. I expected a lot more than 3 cents for a copper or bronze ( 1943 ) penny. I did a little research and realized it's was worth a lot of money. I went back the next day at the time and asked about the penny I sold them and the kid said he already sold it the next day and doesn't have it anymore. Hard to believe that. THIS PLACE DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF COURTESY. I called ahead and told them that I had jewelry to sell. I asked them if they would buy a diamond ring and if they had a gemologist there to look at it. They told me to bring it in. The gemologist looked at it for less than 2 seconds (literally) before he said that he's only buying round and princess cut diamonds and he's being "real selective" about what he buys. This is all information he could have told me over the phone when I called!! Before I took time off work to drive over there to show him a ring that he pretty much glanced at and walked away before I even left the store. Went in to try to replace a screwback for diamond studs. Owner refused to help me when I refused to let him take the diamonds in the back room. When I indicated I preferred the diamonds to stay in my sight, his response was "Do you really want me to have the guy bring all his things from way down the hall out here?" I stopped here with my wife and made a small first purchase to test the water out and it went okay. 2nd visit I made tubes of silver coin purchase came home found few defects. 3rd visit I call in prior to the visit asking for exact year of the gold coins that I wanted Frank say he has it so went to pick it up, paid cash up front Frank brings me the wrong coins, I had ask for newer coins which had security marks on it he tells me its the same thing. 4th visit I called Frank ahead asking for a new one ounce gold maple 7 of them he says he has it I go to pick it up pay upfront $9,730. fresh brand new bills he brings out 2 new coins and 5 old coins which I did not want. I told frank I didn't not want to be cheated again and wanted my money back Frank gets furiously mad and brings out old hundred dollar bills I was about to count it and leave when it dawn on me that this man is not a trustable person This guy Frank deals with large amount of cash every day and his been around for a while its possible that he could have received a bad bills once in a while, So I ask Frank why don't you give me the same cash that I just gave to you. All hell breaks loose Frank yells to me and my wife "This is F***in legal tender too get the F***k out of here".
