Service is genuine, lovely lady they have working behind the counter. First time here and I went simple with egg and cheese on a grilled, plain bagel.

I order the chicken salad lunch special quite often. The special comes with a soda, bag of chips and a pickle. The chicken salad is very good. This place is very busy and sometimes the chicken salad is sold out It's a nice small business, that I will continue to support.

Kudos for the daily fresh bagels. Bagels are soft on the inside but not New York style crispy exterior. Recently moved to Windsor, I have been seeking a bagel place west of the river that would be comparable to Steve's bagels in Manchester. Plan to eat in your car as based in a gas station next to a subway sandwich counter, there is no indoor seating and is entirely takeout.

In mid 2012, the old Oy Vey Bagel Café on Mountain Avenue closed, then was re-opened and expanded as Isaac's Bagel Café. The name "Isaac" is well known in Bloomfield, it's the namesake of the very popular owner of Isaac's Convenience Store next door. Four years later, Isaac is at it again!. He just expanded to a second Bloomfield location, this time taking over Terry's Place - the former luncheonette inside the big Citgo station at that crazy busy intersection of Blue Hills Avenue and Cottage Grove Road. I stopped in this morning to check it out. The menu is exactly the same as the original location, in fact it's bigger because there is a fryolator station here and they can offer French fries with the sandwiches and wraps. The folks who work here are all nice, in fact I recognized a few familiar faces from the original location. Way to Go Isaacs- and congrats on your expansion and new place.

I'm going to be a fixture at this delightful little gas station eatery -- it's been one of the best parts of moving 5 minutes away. For an unassuming little spot, Isaac's has an impressive menu of breakfast and lunch dishes -- including, of course bagels. They get their bagels delivered fresh from the original Isaac's location across town and they're pretty delicious. This little offshoot shares a space with Subway and an adjoining convenience store. We ordered a couple jalapeno cheddar bagel sandwiches with veggie cream cheese, lox, onion, tomato and capers - and they totally hit the spot. Takeaway is a popular option but there are a handful of tables to dine in as well. The employees are so nice!

I have been craving for these bagels so long that I went yesterday and thank god I did. They are so fresh and delicious. Quick and very good service. Prices are very reasonable and a such a easy meal.

So since the Yelp weekly talked about bagels we ended having a hankering for a yummy eat worthy bagel. We stopped at the Isaac's II location since it was closer to home. The bagels served here are freshly made daily at the original Isaac's location and delivered just before 6am when the door open. We decided on half a dozen bagels. We picked 4 Cheddar Jalapeno Everything, 1 Baily, and the last Asiago Garlic. We also purchased 2 tubs of veggie cream cheese. We rushed home to toast up our bagels and smear them with cream cheese. So we toasted up one Jalapeno and the Asiago and cut them in half and each took a half. The bagel had a nice chew to it and texture. The Jalapeno Everything was good it didn't have a pronounced Jalapeno heat to it and the everything spices were missing the salt, the cheddar topping was very good. The Asiago bagel had a good amount of Asiago which lended it great sharp cheesyness and it topped with a lot of garlic which had a more caramelized garlic flavor to it which was quite nice. The veggie cream cheese looked be fresh in house made. You could see fresh shreds of carrot and pieces of green bell pepper and a think chives. It didn't have too pronounced of a veggie flavor to it. The bagels were very fresh and tasty that we both had two toasted and smeared bagels each so I would definitely go back for more.

Good coffee. The meat lovers omelette was chock full of meat but devoid of any cheddar cheese. That was a big miss. The server never did the follow-up. They have a home brew house sauce that is very good and available for sale. The place is very clean.

Was presented in a weird dish too. I did not care for it at all. They gave me gnocchi for gluten free pasta. It was fine just sauce was bland as mentioned. My boyfriend loved his Orrechiete and it was very good. I will say from the mozzarella bar we had the burrata and the tomatoes were flavored beautifully and the bread also looked quite nice. Bf said it was great. Giving Treva a 4 for last time it was great and everything other than my entree this time was good.

Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. When we arrived, parking was definitely a challenge. Once inside, there weren't many people indoors, although the outdoor patio had a decent crowd. We were told our reservation was for inside seating and that we couldn't be moved outside. However, a couple we had chatted with in the bathroom mentioned they didn't even have a reservation and were seated outside right away. That was a little frustrating. After speaking with the hostess, another host, Joanna (aka Jojo), stepped in and was incredibly kind and accommodating. She was able to get us seated outside, and we really appreciated her help. The outdoor ambiance is absolutely beautiful. It feels like a little garden oasis with sandy areas that give it a beachy vibe. It's such a relaxing, fun place to have brunch. The service was great. One server brought our drinks while our waitress took care of us, and they were both friendly, upbeat, and attentive. The food was good! I ordered the chicken sandwich with an egg on top. I was starving, so I devoured it, but I do remember the chicken being really well seasoned; our waitress even mentioned that beforehand, and she was right. The brunch special was also a great value. For around $29, you got your entrée plus a mimosa or Bellini, which I thought was well worth it. Despite the initial seating hiccup, I would definitely come back.
