Service 5/5 Food 2/5 Located inside the Delamar hotel. Parking on the street wasn't hard to find. However, everything was mostly too salty from the appetizer to the sides. For the appetizer, we ordered the crab with pineapples and a sauce that had a kick, which wasn't too spicy. The pineapples were sweet and evened out the salty crab. For the meal, I had the lobster roll. The coleslaw lacked flavor. And the buttery lobster roll was just okay. The fries that came with the lobster roll was wayyyyy too salty. Big portion size sure, but is it really big if barely any of it ends up in your stomach? Our bill did end up getting subtracted, which was nice of them. Not sure I would revisit. Not my palate. Nice ambiance and service inside the restaurant. I would order most things unsalted and have salt on the side or something.

This is a great brunch spot located near blue back square. Although the restaurant has indoor seating/dining and private rooms for events, my fave is the outdoor garden for dining. Not sure about Saturday brunch but on Sundays there is always live music playing. Free parking in the small lot near the restaurant tends to fill up fast even if you are arriving when the restaurant opens for brunch. As does the street parking across the street. There are 2 parking garages located nearby that are a short walk to the restaurant. The brunch menu has something for everyone and it would be easy to find something to meet everyone is your parties taste. Food as always was great. Service as always was great and our server was very attentive. Love that this restaurant is located in a quiet part of the area and not so congested with so much foot traffic.

This is one of the best places in West Hartford to go to celebrate something. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor patio with a charming little garden, which serves as a nice backdrop for birthdays, anniversaries, or maybe a special date. The food is always amazing and the staff are professional. I've been here many times, and on this latest visit, I had the organic kale Caesar salad to start. The fact that I ate the kale and actually liked it shows that it was put together really well. The chicken breast was satisfying crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The mashed potato it was served with was a bit too salty, but the flavor was good. The cioppino my companion ordered was equally delicious.

Celebrated my birthday by staying at the hotel and dining there!!! Great spot , Hotel, and the food was mostly yummy. Service fantastic. The only gripe was that our chicken was extremely salty, and I should have said something . Brunch the next morning was fab , with a great amount of options ... and glutencfree bagles ! Would recommend, in the summer I want to sit outside and people watch !

I dined with a long time friend to celebrate his recent birthday and I mentioned I had reservations to the restaurant which could not be located. Luckily, we were there early enough that they had tables available and the host was able to seat us immediately. We were offered a table either inside or outside and we chose the latter. The outdoor patio was closed off to the elements and had an overhead heater to keep guests warm. The wireless lamps were also a nice touch although the one on our table was at the end of its life. Didn't bother to ask for a replacement though. Our server absolutely on point and very cheery. He came to inquire about our food often and was very inviting. We tried the beef sliders which I remembered from Artisan's Garden Party earlier in the season as well as the beet salad which was very delicious. I was able to enjoy the Scottish Salmon A La Plancha that came with a variety of vegetables. The salmon was crunchy and tasteful while the vegetables were absolutely perfect. I much enjoyed the veggies more than I did the protein. My friend had the Mushroom Bolognese and he was very happy with that too. For the final touch, he blew a candle on a Pumpkin Cheesecake and loved very much. This visit was absolutely spectacular. I would recommend Artisan over and over again. I peeped that guests can now enjoy tea parties, where before, it was limited to spa guests only. That's an absolute delight that my tastebuds couldn't wait to enjoy!

First time going, and we'll 1000% be back. The patio area is awesome. Nice lighting. All of the food was beyond expectations and there's so many other dishes I want to try. Very reasonably priced for the quality. The staff were exceptional and the waiter was very friendly and helpful.

Artisan was a fabulous spot to have brunch. There's a great menu and for $25 you get a drink and food. I had the quiche with salad and home fries. The quiche was a great size- not too much and delicious. Two women had choose your own omelet which gives you 4 choices for your omelet and then one person had French toast. All food was delicious! The service was great. Beautiful place- I have heard the other meals are great as well!!

Came back a couple times, unfortunately food could not be compared to that of when I first tried. Chowder has greatly fallen from grace and considered bland. I cannot believe the difference in what I experienced. Scallops were overcooked and overly salty. Tried the escargots as well - I could tell at first glance that they would disappoint; true as they were dry and overcooked. Disappointed and will not be coming back any time soon.

My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday and it was so cute and such an intimate dining experience we sat in their heated outdoor dining area. We started off by sharing a lobster roll. I had the jumbo sea scallops that were so delicious! My boyfriend wanted the swordfish but they had just ran out so he had their all natural chicken breast he enjoyed it. The crème brûlée and the German chocolate tart was great. Kats service was very friendly, sweet, she helped add to the wonderful experience of the night! We so greatly appreciated her kind service throughout the night! We would definitely come again and 100% recommend!

Second time here Saturday night. Gorgeous restaurant. Ambiance absolutely beautiful. Sat in the dining room. Last time was seated out in the garden. Let's just say. I would recommend sitting inside. The garden does have some "critters" running around so we had to be moved inside last time. Ok onto the food. I had the lobster roll that time and the fries were cold. They did bring me fresh fries which were ok. This time around I had the Cioppino which was extremely salty. Even my bf thought so and he doesn't usually say things are salty. It was topped with grouper and in a lobster bisque sauce. Not my favorite dish but mostly bc of the saltiness. Wasn't very full so then got the strawberry dessert special. Didn't care for that either. Aside from that, hostess stand was also hard to find. It's next to the bar. Would be nice if it was at the front as you walk in. They have a tiny parking lot that was full so we parked in the garage. Maybe would come back for a drink bc it's so pretty in there but probably not for food.

Date night!! Came here and was beyond impressed by the food, the hospitality, and ambiance. The creme brûlée is a MUST. While my partner went to the restroom, one of the waiters brought out her food with a metal cover on it so it would stay warm for her (which I found extremely considerate and they went out of their way to keep the food warm). Recommend for date nights, and celebrations. Definitely a great spot if you're in West Hartford

The hotel is lovely and the Artisan is part of the hotel. The bar and dining area are well decorated, the bartender served a great drink and we had the truffle fries. The patio area was lovely and I wished we had more time to hang out and enjoy this outdoor space. I really enjoyed the truffle fries, they were crunchy and had Parmesan sprinkled on them. I definitely would go back to try more of their menu. Everyone interacted with was customer service focused which added to the charm of the place.

Absolutely a must! It's located inside the Del Mar hotel, however their entrance is in the back where you can also park. You won't valet unless you are staying in the hotel. Staff was very nice and our table was ready. I made reservations on the Open Table app, however, you can also make reservations through their website. The food was really good for brunch and will certainly come back for dinner. If you are looking for a nice experience either with family, friends, a date, this is a good option. It wasn't crowded which was nice and our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The staff worked well together which I like to see. The drinks have fresh ingredients and we actually saw the bartender prepping for service and you could smell the mint in the air. He was making a bloody mary that looked good and their again, fresh, ingredients. They have a small garden in tbe back that may be where they get some items.

Is this a great restaurant for a birthday brunch?

They run a brunch on Sunday, and it should be good. They can accommodate a part of twelve or so in the dining room.

New Year's Eve dinners/New Year's day brunch specials, in my experiences, have always been a cash grab by restaurants where you would get a decent meal but always leave hungry or the opposite where the price was super extravagant yet food was mediocre at best. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!!! Food was amazing. Chicken was spiced and fried to perfection. Crunchy without being greasy. I refuse to eat fried chicken in public yet almost human eating this with people around. Juicy meat, 4 piece of half breast, wing, thigh and drummy all meaty. Sides of picked pepper mac&cheese and Cole slaw. My wife tore into that coleslaw like her life depended on it and was everything she's been looking for in a slaw Breakfast burrito was packed full of goodness, substantial. Side of potatoes which could've been a meal in of itself. $19 and well worth it. Brought half home for breakfast the next day. All in all, not only was their value in the prices offered throughout the menu, the food is incredible. Service was amazing. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, good eye for when we needed something without us having to ask. Perfect start to the new year and aching to come back for dinner. It was worth staying home NYE and falling asleep early in order to be fresh and ready for this dining experience.

The place looked spacious and with a lot of light, it looked clean and they seemed to have a nice selection of wines (for those that like it) , they were displayed for people to see, which I thought looked very nice. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and I found it odd that there was only 1 restroom for the size of the restaurant. Our waiter was nice, he took our order and we were excited. The food took a VERY long time, we were starving, and we had kids with us so that wasn't good. Some of our orders were wrong and so unfortunately we had to wait even longer for the right meal. We didn't order alcohol but we did older a couple of mocktails. I was SUPER excited for them because that's something I always appreciate at a restaurant. I'm sad to say that they were AWFUL!! straight up syrup, not bubbly (some were supposed to have soda in them) not sweet, simply not enjoyable at all, I ended up switching it for a simple club soda, I figured it was a safe bet. When my food came out, it was ok, I had the avocado toast, and it was forgettable, my sister had the chicken and waffles and now THAT was the meal to get, it was large in portion and that chicken was beyond tasty!! My other sister has the lomito sandwich with the chips and it was good, something missing but she enjoyed it. The rest of the food were burgers and they were ok, the kids had burgers and Mac and cheese and they were not tasty according to the children's disinterest in barely touching their food (and they love cheeseburgers). I'm always willing to bypass certain things as long as customer service delivers BUT unfortunately they fell short. We were celebrating an engagement and so we were all very happy and in a great mood, when suddenly workers around us were cleaning up the neighboring tables, and even sweeping very close to us. We thought the place was possibly closing? (Even though it was only 2:15pm). I asked if they were closing and they said that they close the restaurant from 3-4 so their employees can go eat .... I'm not against giving them a break BUT, it really felt like they were kicking us out, we felt pressured to eat fast and wrap it up, not a good feeling, when you are in the zone of happiness. It was our first time there so, I would have appreciated if they would have informed us that the restaurant takes a little break in between and then we would have decided if we wanted to stay or go elsewhere. They did bring a little dessert and 2 mocktails for the newly engaged which was nice, I'll give them that. Overall, I don't think the food and experience was worth me coming back or recommending this place, I'm sure there's other much better places.

The textured walls are gorgeous and give the space a style it was definitely missing before. As usual, the happy hour menu never disappoints. The Pomjito is a personal favorite.. refreshing, light, and not too sweet. We also got the oysters and mussels, both solid. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. That said, we'll still be back for the great happy hour food and solid drinks. Now it's just a matter of finding a menu item I like... and hoping they keep it.
