I had eaten at this place pre-pandemic for hot pot back when it was called Baba Sushi, as it's hard to find in the area, but never had their sushi. I went in tonight to check them out and I guess there has been a change in ownership, two of the Baba Sushi employees bought them out, or so I hear. I was pretty impressed with this place, the sushi is super fresh and really good. More impressive, on a Sunday night, were the crowds of Asian people enjoying their AYCE hot pot and sushi. You probably can't get near this place on a Friday or Saturday. Since I'm relatively new to sushi, I had *a few* questions, and my server Alexandra was amazing with all the questions even though she was super busy. I had the land and sea roll, and, while, not "technically" sushi, it was a delight--torched beef wrapped around shrimp tempura. Would be good for a person--and I know several--who absolutely won't eat raw fish. Had the tuna torch roll, also very good. She brought me the "house" soy sauce which is ten times better for sushi than regular soy sauce,much lighter and less salty. A lot of times I'm a bit skeeved out by the all you can eat concept, but they are making this stuff fresh as you order it. That other reviewer who said he prefers Hungry Bowl is out to lunch, sorry. The vibe and especially the service is much nicer here; it seems like people go to Hungry Bowl specifically to just pig out and not for the quality. Nothing against Hungry Bowl, but while we're comparing.... What I'd like to do is bring a big gang o' people here and try everything! But unfortunately I don't live around here. But I do come up here to square dance and I will be back to try more stuff. read more

Love this place! I am not super picky when it comes to all you can eat sushi, but this sushi is very good quality and you get a lot of sushi each time you order. I was impressed with their variety. Our server was very knowledgeable and helped us when we had questions. I need to return and try the hot pot because their selections for that was also impressive. read more

This was a fun experience. We loved that we could fill up on sushi for a reasonable price! The sushi rolls were not the best we've had but they were definitely fresh and tasty! The more people you have the better, you can try more variety. We only did the all you can eat sushi, the table next to us did the hot pot which looked delicious. We will try that next time. Our server was very helpful and made sure we knew what was what on the plates when they came out. This isn't a fancy place but it's very nicely decorated and was welcoming. Service was amazing here. Never done hot pot before but watched videos and the waitress was extremely helpful and bubbly. The other workers were so nice and helpful as well. The food was so fresh we did sushi and hotpot and it was WELL worth it. They also make amazing drinks, lots of choices. Luckily with the food you didn't have to choose which to eat you could have it all. It was also very clean and the atmosphere was really ambient. Highly recommend. Had heard about all you can eat sushi and hot pot and needed to try this spot! So happy we did! The all you can eat hot pot and sushi price is so worth it! The service was excellent. We made a reservation as it was a Friday night so we were seated immediately, it was about 6pm and was full but not overly crowded. Our waiter was so attentive giving us such great advice on what to order and explained the menu. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. This is a pleasant finding for me! The place is huge! They serve a regular menu and AYCE sushi/hotpot. The AYCE price seems fair as they do not serve them on buffet table, but make them fresh, which I prefer it this way. So, there is abit of wait and if you come in a large group; expect the wait to be longer especially on busy days! I feel like they are short-staffed, though, especially on weekends! However, do not come in with an expectation of a high quality sushi, but it is satisfactory enough if you and friends are craving for something that is within everyone's budget. Kelly was our server and she did a great job! 5 stars to her she was killin it. Food quality also so good! Spicy tuna hand Rolland ultimate salmon maki were my fave. Only thing to note is if it is busy there are very long wait times for the all you can eat sushi. So better to go if you want a long night of chatting, splitting some sake and hanging out. Came in tonight on a busy Saturday evening just before 8. Had a small wait for a table and the hostess was hustling! We got sat in roughly 10/15 minutes. Our server Chari was amazing, once she took our order (which was extensive) for AYCE sushi, the food just kept coming and didn't stop till we begged her no more we can't take it anymore. The deep fried apps were really good, we got the spring rolls, gyoza, and lobster Rangoons. The tuna sashimi was amazing and melt in your mouth and ridiculously fresh. We got seconds of it and it came out FAST. We got the spicy tuna roll maki and hand rolls, the maki is even topped with tuna as well. 10/10. The hand rolls are very generously filled and delicious. We got 4 speciality rolls as well which were delicious. I can't remember all the names. And chari even twisted our arms for some mochi for dessert. No pictures, too busy eating. I don't know how I'm alive after the feast we just had. Fantastic experience. Will be back for sure! read more

I can't speak for the food. I can only speak for the service. We called at noon for a 7PM reservation. They told us we would not need one. When we got there at five past 7, there was a 45 minute wait. Please tell people if you don't take reservations but do not tell people they don't need one. read more

Two of us went early on a Tuesday night and it wasn't very crowded. We both ordered from the all you can eat sushi menu. The sides portions were much smaller than the last time we were here and the service was extreeeemly slooooooooooow. The way the appetizers came out was very piecemeal one here, one there, never knew who was going to get what or when. The maki rolls and sashimi/nigiri took so long we forgot what we ordered. And forget about trying to get the bartenders attention to come back to the table and having him actually remember to bring a refill. All you can eat is really a joke, unless you want to sit there for 4 hours. I can't imagine what it would be like if the place was busy. Went here for a late lunch and got seated right away. We did ayce hot pot x 3 and sushi x1. Everything was delicious! We got plenty of food with fast service although sushi took a bit longer. We went to have a nice evening and welcome a new member to the family. Got to the restaurant at 7:30 only there weren't any parking spots. We talked to the hostess who apologized and said there was a 50-60 minute wait and to come back at 8:30 to be seated. Asked her if she needed our names, and she said no, to just make sure we were back by 8:30. So we went to Rapscallion for a quick drink and came back at 8:25!! To be told that they can't seat us, that they were closing early because it was TOO BUSY EARLIER! The female hostess was put off when I questioned it and asked for a manager. She then went out and came back with a gentleman who said, he would seat us quick and have a limited menu as the kitchen was closed... but the AL YOU CAN EAT was definitely NOT an option. Wait, you tell me when to come back and then refuse me!?! I will NEVER BE BACK!! So straight to Kaizen we strolled.. had and incredible meal.. friendly service and even though we were the last people in and out...Never got pressure or eye rolls or attitudes from the staff! After a day spent in Sturbridge my husband and I, along with another couple, opted for the sushi and hot pot experience on a chilly winter's night! Each couple chose their sushi and meat, veggie and side choices for the hot pot and we agreed on the Tom Yum and Mala broths. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the experience. The sushi was spot on and the whole hot pot experience was fun! I don't think we would opt for the beef again, as it was bit too thinly sliced and didn't soak in the flavor of the broth unless you really overcooked it but everything else in the broth was absolutely delicious! My husband and I went around 130. Drink order was taken, about 20 mins later the waiter walked by didnt even take our order. We sat for 4o minutes still no order taken, drinks sitting on the bar getting warm. The people next to us ate one sushi roll and sent the rest back. They told us to not even bother. It took them an hour and a half to get 4 rolls. Our table and theirs were the only ones in the high top area and there were multiple other servers there. We went with the all-you-can-eat sushi. 2 of the 3 appetizers came out in a timely fashion, but it was down hill from there. 35 minutes to get 4 rolls. We decided to order 4 more 40 minutes later and she came to the table with 4 rolls, just not the ones we ordered. Waitress came back with 2 rolls 10 minutes later. We stopped in late on a Saturday night hoping for a quick hot pot dinner. We were informed it was an hour wait, so we opted for bar sushi. After waiting 10 minutes while the bartenders took shots with customers, we were finally able to place our order and get a beer. We did not get any food for another hour, and finally asked for the sushi to go as it was well after 9pm by that point. Sushi received was questionable in temperature and taste.
