Tuna wrap with side of sweet potatoe fries
    Meleia O.

The cafe itself is on a corner street and I can see it filling up fast during rush hours. It's fairly small but they have an outside ordering window or dine-in service! The server was very nice, but the place can get hot fast. We would wait to get water refills often since it was hot the day we visited. The food was phenomenal! Everything is hearty and satisfying. The chipotle tuna wrap is SO GOOD. I will definitely be getting it the next time I come back with a side of hashbrowns. The sweet potatoes fries were on the softer side but had a few crispy bits. My husband got the Oreo pancakes and it was perfect. It is definitely on the sweeter side for all the pancakes but they're very filling and enjoyable for people with sweet teeth. Can't wait to come back!

MATCHA WAFFLES: wish it came with more than one tiny syrup. Was good though! I'd say dine-in for this one to keep the waffle crispy!

**DOORDASH ORDER ONLY** SERVICE (4/5): Was pretty quick! Someone forgot the coffee, either the restaurant or the door-dasher, we'll never know. Sad day without caffeine. FOOD (4/5): MATCHA WAFFLES: These were still slightly crispy when they arrived, I wish all the sauce/toppings came on the side as to (maybe) preserve crispiness, but that's the risk you take when you order Togo. No real way to keep it fresh! Which isn't the restaurants fault. But I do wish they gave more than one tiny container of syrup. It only covered half my waffle. Good flavor, but would only order these for dine-in next time. EGG WHITE VEGETABLE OMELETTE: this was delicious! Tried to off set my waffle calories with a healthier option. Asked for a side of spicy salsa and it was PERFECT! CAFE DE OLLA COFFEE: unfortunately did not arrive so I cannot review. Next time! OVERALL (4/5): Would definitely try more dishes here, but dine-in next time to preserve the freshness of their dishes.

Food was great, good portions and options were plenty to choose from. Dining area is rather small and ventilation wasn't the best. It seemed like they were short staffed because wait times for sitting and eating were lagging. But customer service was excellent and attentive! I had the almond caramel crepe with eggs and bacon, matcha pancakes and breakfast wet burrito. The crepe was delicious! Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The pancakes were kinda dry but tasted delicious . The burrito was juicy and cooked well, could have used more flavor but overall it was nice.

Wet breakfast burrito and cafe de olla
    Angel M.

I ordered the wet breakfast burrito and it was a fulfilling portion! I had a cafe de olla and the server was attentive with refilling and checking in. The place has great natural lighting with chill music playing on the tv. Definitely would come back to try their pancakes which look extra fluffy & savory.

I really like the food here. The Chilaquiles are so amazing. The Mexican omelette is very good. The service is great. I love the coffee and the iced coffee. Sometimes it gets so busy but I understand because if I cause if I wait in another restaurant and it's not that good course I might be wait here really good food and service ambience. It's everything always really good music and I like the tables and they always when you ask for water or something. They always give you whatever you need. Thank you,

Food is absolutely delicious! Had the matcha waffle, chilaquiles, kids French toast, meat lovers burritos, Nutella banana crepes, and the jalapeño chicken omelette. Everything was tasty definitely will be back and recommend

I was surprised to find myself as the only customer for lunch on a Friday. Perhaps it's because the World Series happens later this evening, and the Dodgers are playing. The food taste great, and the portion was generous. The service was impeccable. I have to invite my whole office here for an event, especially because it's only five minutes away from our MemorialCare clinic.

The rating is based solely on the food. It was perfection. The huevos rancheros and chilaquiles were so good. The ambiance and location is not what you see online with other brunch places. Also no liquor on the menu so I was a little taken a back. If it wasn't so good it be 4 stars

    Chipotle chicken sandwich delish
    Ari R.

Love this place! Chipotle chicken sandwich was really good quality with fresh veggies. Chipotle sauce is actually spicy and very good. Sweet potato fries crispy. Then the tiramisu pancakes were out of this world. Amazing!!

We discovered a charming little spot near home for breakfast, a former taco joint transformed into something special. Our waiter Jared, a truly remarkable guy, provided outstanding service. Though I had my heart set on matcha pancakes, Jared's recommendation of the matcha waffles turned out to be a perfect choice--light, delicious, and fulfilling. Izzy savored his pancakes, eggs, and sausage, complemented by refreshing strawberry lemonade. Today was a great day.

    French toast
    Candice A.

My French toast was delicious crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The fruit was sweet and fresh. My bacon was cooked crispy as ordered and my eggs soft and fluffy. Everything tasted amazing. Last time i ordered the chilaquiles that were so delicious I didn't take a picture of them. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

This is a good restaurant. The food and the service are good. Don't let the outside fool you. Everything looks new and nice on the inside. Two of the biggest pancakes in my life. For the business owner, with a little more flavor with the pancakes and syrup you will have a great regional restaurant with a line out the door.

    Coffee pancake! Delicious
    Amy B.

I'm so glad I found this spot, the food was delicious. I ordered the Mexicali omelette, it was cooked perfectly, very tasty. I shared the coffee pancake, amazing. We asked our server Maricella for recommendations since it was our first time coming! Wow!!! Everything was delicious . Her service was excellent, she was working alone it was busy however managed to take notice when we needed refills on our drinks. Thank you Maricella. I will definitely be back.

The server (owner?) asked if we wanted cheese and Cole slaw, and that's how we got it. The sandwich was big enough to share so if the sandwich seems pricey, consider sharing. Although on a hungry day, I could probably eat it all with no problem. Dilly's has a fairly decent amount of craft beers on draft. I wasn't in a beer-drinking mood so I didn't look too closely at the list. I love it when restaurants support local brewers, and this looks like the kind of place that would do just that.

Heard about Dilly's Sandwiches having the most unique rotating set of beers on tap in Long Beach,…read moreso had to come to try it. The taste portions were very reasonably priced, allowing to create your own flight (or two). Specifically scheduled an early afternoon to come to the Lakewood Village neighborhood of East Long Beach. My wife found an angled parking spot right in front. It wasn't too crowded inside and the four of us found easy, comfortable seating in the brightly decorated dining room. One places and pays for the order at the counter, with the proprietors being very friendly and engaged. They brought out our beers after the pour, and the sandwiches a bit after (since each is individually carefully made). Beers: - Northern Lager [Oxbow] - ($5 for 13oz pour) was clean, crisp and a hoppy aftertaste. - Infinite Hotel [The Wayfinder X Bierstadt] (marked as $3 but charged $4) is a rice lager and was the favorite of the group for its drinkability - Winteruption [JK's Farmhouse] ($3) is a cider with very strong maple syrup overtones: never tasted anything like it. - Hyper Paradise [Rare Barrel] ($4) - saison and ale with mango and passion fruit. I liked this beer very much. - A Place Like Home [Pure Project] ($3) - Nitro poured Extra Special Bitter. - Double Negative [Grimm] ($4) - Imperial Stout, which I really enjoyed. - Amongst Friends [Sante Adairius] ($4) - a cherry saison, unusual and was glad to sample. A lot of work was put into creating this flight, with the careful pours and markings to make sure I knew what was what. I really appreciated the opportunity to sample all of these on-tap. In terms of the food, the group as a whole really liked them, though I guess I wasn't as impressed with my two samples, mainly because it used non-descript deli meat in OK quantities, heating them up when necessary. Hot Beef ($18) was my wife's, and it had been griddled with cheese to form a crispy lattice. The Ham and Cheese ($16) was served cold and had potato chips inside which my mother-in-law liked (saving the other half for home). Our friend and I split the Hot Turkey ($16) and Pastrami No 19 style ($20). The pastrami meat was piled high and the cole slaw was crisp and good, but was served cold (should have read the description more closely) and mediocre rye bread broke apart quickly. The Hot Turkey ($16) was served on ciabatta that had been grill pressed for a long time, creating a wonderful crust as good as any sandwich I've had. But the filling was OK, using standard turkey breast slices from a loaf and an ok stuffing...using hand carved turkey would have made a big difference here, but understand it's hard to do. Strangely, even though it's a pickle adorned shop, each sandwich just came with an ordinary pickle spear, what one would expect from a diner, not a deli. And the prices are on the higher side, especially with no sides and most not being particularly ginormous. But I loved how each sandwich used different breads, and how some of them were toasted very well. And having the opportunity to try these unique beers made it a really good experience.

I stopped by for some lonche & I ordered their salmon bowl, hold the edamame. It comes with a piece of focaccia that I assumed was their signature thing .... But it was not that great. I think it is way too doughy compared to typical focaccia. I like my focaccia airy, with some bounce. This one was like a dense bread. Definitely not my forte for having focaccia. You're able to see in my attached photo just how thick and dense it looks. The salmon bowl itself was pretty refreshing. I think the dresssingggg was perfectly tailored to the bowl. Not too acidic, not too sweet, not too salty. It dressed the bowl up real nice. The salmon was tender, nicely cooked, not chewy-- I hate when I get cheewwwyyy salmon I want fish not gum. The rice and sweet potatoes were perfect! Absolutely a nice bed made for the salmon to lay on. I tried the Shirley temple it's way too sweet, more grenadine than anythang. I just optd for half unsweetened tea & half of their lemonade. It was average. The cranberry cookie was pretty good! Not something I usually lean towards but I was wowd to taste how good it was. Cranberry gave it that nice kick of tang on your tongue. Service was friendly, I ordered through the kiosk screen. It's clean inside and in the restroom as well. Plenty of parking in the plaza.
