The service was attentive and quick, making the entire dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. Now, onto the food: every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! We started with the refreshing cucumber salad, which had the perfect balance of tangy and savory flavors. The cold tofu was equally impressive, bursting with umami and spice. For the main dish, I had a fragrant, hearty noodle soup with beef, packed with rich flavors and perfectly cooked noodles. The dumplings were soft, juicy, and filled with the perfect amount of flavor, and the sauces were delightful! Overall, the ambiance was cozy and modern, perfect for a casual meal with friends. I highly recommend Tumi Dumpling House for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Chinese dishes. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's definitely worth the stop! I'll be back for sure.

The dumplings were served fresh and piping hot, which made the experience even better. Gluten-free dough is notoriously difficult to work with, so I really appreciate the effort and care that clearly goes into making these. They've done a great job. The service was also very friendly. I met Ted, who took the time to tell me more about the restaurant, which made the visit feel welcoming and personal. I'll definitely be returning to try more of the dumplings -- even the non-gluten-free options because they're just that delicious. I'm excited to see how the menu evolves. I'd love to see a dumpling dish added to the lunch specials and perhaps more filling variations for the gluten-free dumplings. Next time, I'm trying them pan-fried!

I will say I find the food not as flavourful when you ask for mild as the spice-level. I find medium and up to taste better. My most favorite dishes are the lamb shank massaman, pad Kee Mao, pad si ew, and Isaan tom yum pad Thai. There is still so much more I haven't got a chance to try yet. Service & ambiance: Staff are very kind and give good customer service. There are tables that can accommodate groups of up to 6 people.

The curry has a nice coconut flavor and we ordered this mild. The mild spice level was just right for us. I broke out into a tiny sweat at the end. It was delicious and highly recommend their curry. We ordered the jasmine matcha drink. It's a surprise of nice flavors and goes down good nicely after the curry. We finished dinner with the cantaloupe, mango tapioca. The bowl is quite large and again it's delicious. This was a nice dinner Service Service is prompt and courteous. Food came out hot. My companion and I visited on a late Saturday evening and were seated right away. We tried the Steak Sandwich ($26), Honey Garlic Wings, and Tuna Ceviche ($16). While the steak sandwich was acceptable, the tuna ceviche felt a bit too watery, and the crostini was a little too hard for my preferences. The honey garlic wings, though decent, had a very mild honey garlic taste. Our server was friendly, and efficient. She checked in on us just the right number of times, making the service feel attentive but not overbearing. The Alpine isn't wheelchair accessible. The main entrance is narrow, and there are a few steps to go up before reaching the seating area. A fun note is that they offer karaoke every Friday night from 9 PM to 2 am. Overall, The Alpine offers a great atmosphere for a casual night out, but some of the dishes could use a little refinement.

I recently dropped by for first time during lunch hour, and similar to all restaurants in the area, it's wasn't busy during this time so there were plenty of seating and reservations were not required. However, evenings and weekends can be quite busy, but reservations can be made via OpenTable. I ordered the Burger of The mouth with a side of salad, while my friend ordered the Indie Fried Chicken Platter. I personally found the burger and salad to be quite delicious. The beef patty was juicy, with all sauces and ingredients complimenting each other nicely. My friend on the other hand, found the chicken a little dry, and the coleslaw warm, and soggy. The restaurant had a cozy laid back feel at this time, contrary to the loud and lively evenings. The hostess/server was attentive, friendly, and efficient. She let us sit anywhere we wanted when we arrived given the quieter afternoons, and she knew the menu well.

They have a wide range of in-house beers, sours and even hard to find Ales. The ambiance is welcoming and accomodating to all ages (even kids). If you're a first time customer and undecided on which beer to choose, I encouraged you to try their Beer Flights which includes 5 oz. sample of 5 beers on tap. I love IPA's and Pilsner so I like ordering the Instigator & Marco Polo. Instigator, a West Coast IPA has a light honeyed sweetness with plenty of hoppy goodness. Quite malty but has well balanced and smooth tasting notes. The Marco Polo on the otherhand is a flavourful dry-hopped lager but super crisp and refreshing which is perfect for hot summer days. My SO who is into strong and dark ales swears how good their Zombie Apocalyse and Breakfast Porter. But the huge draw of me coming here is mainly how impressed I am of their food menu. They offer fresh and high quality dishes that doesn't taste like your clasic pub meals. I always order their Southern Fried Chicken since this is the best Southern Fried Chicken I've ever tried. The fried chicken is intensely flavourful and incredibly crunchy and pairs well with any of their beers. The Indie Burger is another one of my fave. This is your ultimate cheeseburger - two smashed beef patties that is juicy in every bite. Staff are also knowledgeable, friendly and will answer any questions you have about their beer offerings. Top notch chef, nice atmosphere and a wide range of pints to sample makes Indie Alehouse one of the city's top must visit locations for beer drinkers and foodies alike.
