Stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food is very good but seemed overpriced overpriced. The service was pretty good to begin with but as the place filled up, it got pretty slow. Very disappointed. We were in Minocqua for our minimoon and had planned to eat here for breakfast, mind you we had been traveling to our cabin half of the day the day prior. When we woke up we were quite famished, and had not bought food due to the 7am open time of IC. Come to find out there was a sign on the door that they switched to fall hours, and it was still August. It's great! One of my favorite places in Minocq. It also has fairly decent hours for the woods. I like the Greek things the best- usually I get the salmon sandwich or Greek salmon, which comes with an AMAZING pilaf. Breakfasts are good too. What I really like is that so many dishes come with fruit. The fruit isn't the usual crunchy, under-ripe melon cubes with mooshy grapes that most restaurants serve. The fruit is in good condition, and there's a lot of variety- I've even had starfruit. read more

I see fluctuating reviews about this place, but I didn't think it was bad at all. It looks like they have a nice breakfast menu, but we came here for lunch. It's very low-key, they have "bar" that you can sit at, or you can sit at tables. We ordered tea (they have a lot to choose from), but I have to say their chai tea is impressive! It's almost overflowing with foam and honey, and tastes amazing. A work of art. They have your regular Greek cuisine to choose from. I had the gyro and was not disappointed. The pita is great, just the right amount of fillings, sauce on the side and you are good to go. Everyone liked their food. We ordered the baklava (2 of us shared a piece), and it was worth it. It was so good, but definitely share. It is sweet. Borderline too sweet. But overall the service was pretty good, the bathrooms are painted with a very delicately (you'll know what I mean if you go in there), and we were pleased with the pricing. I have never ordered anything here that was not excellent. I stop here every year on my way to and from Indianhead in the U.P. My favorites are the cinnamon roll french toast and the oatmeal with cranberries/granny smith apples/yogurt/syrup. Fresh flowers on the tables, competent staff, delicious/fresh food, good coffee, decorated/clean bathrooms... what's not to love? This restaurant deserves all the 5-star reviews! read more

Stopped by here last summer on my way up north and had a nice little meal. Tried the Huevos Rancherous with Chipotle Black Bean Sauce, very tasty and a great combination of ingredients that you usually don't see at a place like this. Sat at the counter, service was a little slow and inattentive, I think due to that it was right in between breakfast and lunch and things were getting changed over. Otherwise, enjoyed everything else, will definitely be back. read more

We stop here every year when we travel up this way. Every time has been meh. First for a family of four (with a 8 & 5 year old) it was 50 bucks with tip. And the kids shared the French toast. My omelette was blah at best. And I am a sucker for a good breakfast. They charge you al la cart for anything other than the main dish, you wanted sausage oh I'm sorry that's extra. We were not able to find a place to sit outside so we decided to eat inside. The temperature inside really cold. I asked the waitress if they can lower the temperature and he said that if he does, his boss was going to yell at him. Really? Can you please ask him? This place is a gem! We came up for the weekend to cross country ski and ate here for breakfast both Saturday and Sunday and we're very impressed. It is owned by a Greek family and has some nice Greek choices on the menu. The breakfast menu has so many good choices including four kinds of benedicts covered in their delicious homemade hollandaise sauce. The eggs are cooked well, the veggies are all fresh, the hash Browns are crunchy and delicious, the omelets are then and wrapped around a lot of fresh toppings and no oil. The biscuits and gravy are %100 homemade and so tasty! We had two different waitresses and they were both attentive, kind and funny; giving us advice on where to ski and go out for drinks. The atmosphere is great, the food is all fresh and tasty, the staff is friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable. Overall a great experience, I would highly recommend it for breakfast and will definitely be back! read more

I have been coming here for about 15 years. This place started out great but has declined in both quality and service and food quality. My recent visit will most likely be my last. I went there on Sunday over Memorial Day weekend and it was not crowded so we were sat right away. The servers were not friendly and our even checked on us with a yell over 15 feet away "Everything OK?". The other servers were just standing around in their phones while the place looked dirty with stuff all over the floor and tables not clean. Besides this, the price of the food is absolutely ridiculous and I come from Chicago! The farmers scramble wit chocolate chip pancakes was over $15.00! This is completely insane for the food we received. This is even more insane being up in the North woods of Wisconsin. Maybe they need to raise the prices for the fancy iPad ordering method? The gyro meat that came with the gyros and eggs was awful. If this is supposed to be a Greek place, then why is the gyro meat not cut off the spigot? This meat was obviously pre packaged and awful. Its a shame because this used to be a place I would go to every time I went to Minocqua, and now it may be a place I never visit again. They need to address their service issues and lower the exorbitant prices in order for me to return. read more

Food and service were excellent. Breakfast choices were plentiful. "Special" was smoked salmon platter. Very tasty, although the special was the regular menu price. The only downside was a very small container of cream cheese, not adequate to cover both halves of the bagel. The waitress quickly brought another when I asked, but we had $.60 added to the check, which I thought was excessive on a $14.50 breakfast plate! I would have given five stars if it hadn't been for the cream cheese pettiness. read more

One of my favorite spots "up north". I love greek food and this place has delicious authentic greek choices. The greek platter ( i think that is what it is called) is the best- awesome to share with a group. Their lattes and coffee drinks are amazing, and just this past weekend we tried a pumpkin muffin...the server warmed it up for us and it was way too good! read more

I've eaten here a few times... the turkey dinner (in February!) is yummy. The prices are high but it's a Minocqua tourist staple so it's expected. Parties came and went before our food even came out. Our waitress never even stopped by. When we finally got her attention, she was unapologetic and gave just about the worst possible answer for the delay. She told us it was not her fault and kitchen was to blame. We ate and had to flag down Miss Not My Fault for our bill. She was clearly angry we did not take leftovers with us. Our bill was $41 and was not discounted at all. Inattentive, abrasive waitstaff makes me say who cares about the food. We won't be back. read more

This place has THE best soups in the world ... Especially the chicken noodle! I go there for the traditional Greek dishes, which are wonderful. My only complaint is the $10 burger!! Really??? Two small, thin boring patties on a bun - nothing to brag about flavor-wise and it comes with nothing else! No fries or chips or anything for $10. Service is great and personable and fun!
