Amazing wraps and great experience! I ordered online and picked up in store. super convenient with plenty of parking. The space is clean, trendy, and welcoming. Chic decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are outdoor tables if you want to sit and enjoy your food. I tried the Sunrise Pesto Wrap and the Breakfast Burrito both were delicious. Also, don't skip the the cookies... seriously, insanely good. I also liked their latte and my boyfriend liked the cold brew

Stopped by for a sandwich to bring for the plane ride home. Superman was fantastic!!!! Beef with cheese and onions with au jus. It was small though. Also had the turkey bacon avocado which wasn't as good. Lilikoi lemonade was very sour. They had a bunch of yummy baked goods on the counter but didn't try em. Decent overall!!! You order at the counter and either take a seat or wait for them to pack your food to go.

Why did I come here? Based on Yelp reviews I came just to try something new. I was shocked. How did they score these reviews??? I expected to see fresh baked goods at the counter and be welcomed by a great smell of coffee. I wasn't. The menu is limited, the place feels very empty. I ordered breakfast burrito and two coffees to go. The coffee was one of the worse I've had it was watered down and very little flavor. SO WEAK! If I gave it to the homeless he would probably throw it at me. The burrito was good but I had better. I returned to my Hotel (Pacific 19) and apologized to my coffee guy for cheating on him. Waimea coffee at Kona Pacific 19 has a stand at the main entrance. Their burritos are so yummy and coffee is made the correct way with flavor.

    Tomato bisque

Food. Tomato bisque was plain and had no cheese, tasted like canned soup. Ordered turkey sandwich. The bread was toasted and I didn't ask for toasted which made it so hard. Added extra meat but it seemed like it was not extra.

This is NOT OK!! Dead Avo and lettuce.

If your veggies are black and bad... DON'T place it on orders. This was not good to serve. I will not be returning.

    Breakfast burrito & cheese danish
    Allison O.

Great spot, the breakfast burrito was fire! The freshest ingredients. The cheese danish was very soft with great flavor. The gal running the front counter was busy but remained sweet, and efficiently got drinks and food to customers. 100% would come back

got a very berry smoothie and a gobbler wrap, super good! super sweet workers, there is about 3 bar stools for inside seating and some nice table in the shade outside. the shopping complex that the cafe is in has a great parking lot for easy parking. a good recommendation!

    Chicken salad on rye
    Nathan K.

I was looking for a quick bite for lunch and decided to give this place a try. I'm glad I did as the chicken salad on rye sandwich as recommended by the staff was very tasty. Served with potato chips, it was just what I needed to carry me through the day. Friendly and casual spot with some counter seating indoors and tables outside. Looking forward visiting again on my next trip home to explore more of the menu.

    Hot pastrami sandwich
    Joe L.

I ordered the TBA (turkey, bacon, avocado) in a tortilla as well as the hot pastrami on rye. First thing I would like to mention is like many other restaurants, their online menu prices are incorrect. Both these sandwiches were shown as $12 but inside the restaurant, was marked up to $14.50 each. That's a 20% increase. Now, if they need to raise their prices, so be it but please have an accurate menu! The sandwiches were tasty but they were pitifully small. When I spend over $30 for two sandwiches, I would expect them to be a bit larger. I ended up eating both sandwiches at one sitting and was not fully satiated. The other thing I found odd was that although the price was the same, only one sandwich came with chips. Not sure why that would be? They were tasty sandwiches but if you have a decent appetite, be prepared to spend over $30 to get your fill. Overall, I give it 3.5 stars.

Thanks May for great service and leading me to the Mini Plate and the Banana Workout Smoothie! Definitely would recommend this place and it's a great location not far from the central part of Kona. Look forward to coming back soon!

Cute coffee shop a short walk from where I grabbed breakfast at L & L. Very friendly staff that helped me decide on my drink - which ended up being an iced white chocolate peppermint mocha. Two thumbs up! They have several milk options and flavors. They also serve food , smoothies and fresh baked items.

    TBA on a croissant.

Such a cute cafe! The food was amazing and great customer service! The TBA sandwich is so good!

    Sunrise wrap

Cute cafe located on the corner of Kona mall, it serves nice fresh breakfast and lunch wraps, sandwiches, salads, coffee and smoothie drinks that are perfect to eat there or on the go. My breakfast burrito was pretty good, full of chunks of potato and large enough for me to eat the other half later. Giving it 5 stars because my friend adored the Matcha Mania enough to try and make it at home and the Sunrise wrap that comes with basil in it.

We ordered green salad as the sides and they were really good . Mixed greens, no iceberg, served with a tasty balsamic vinaigrette. The fish sandwich wasn't great. We' chose the seared ahi. It was cooked completely through, which was probably a good thing because it was FAR from fresh--extremely "fishy." We've had a lot of ahi that past two weeks and this was the worst. Service was friendly and prompt, although it was clear we arrived at the end of our server's shift. We' were handed the check when we were nowhere near finished with our sandwiches. This wasn't a huge issue for us, but some people might feel put off by that. Cleanliness was still an issue--the tables really be a good deep cleaning. You can't beat the view! There was construction right out front this time (not the restaurant's fault)) but at least it was interesting

The overall experience felt lively and relaxed, and even the little geckos running along the railing trying to sneak a sip of syrup added a fun, memorable touch. That said, the food didn't live up to the setting. While everything tasted fresh and the presentation (especially the avocado toast) was beautiful, it was surprisingly lacking in flavor. It honestly felt like the island ran out of salt and seasoning--very bland for how fresh it was. To begin, the greeting from Richard was welcoming, informative, and made us feel like we were visiting long-missed family friends. Once seated, the ambiance was open and comfortable, and of course, the view is beautiful. Our server, CC, was genuinely friendly and efficient despite being the only server on the floor AND shadow training a new server as well. She is skilled managing the floor! Now, as to the food.....I cannot praise it enough. The Brunch menu had a variety of options that made our choices difficult. We opted for the Lilikoi French Toast and it was fabulous. Truly memorable. We also tried the Banana Bread and it was heavenly. We were told that the everything on menu is house made, and I can say that this level of care shows. While we didn't get the chance to try any other menu items, we did watch the Salmon Eggs Benedict being served to several diners near us - it was a beautifully plated dish and we overheard rave reviews. Adding to the comfort was a musician playing guitar and singing beautifully. Frequently, he shared interesting local tidbits and stories about the songs he chose. Our party agreed that returning to Kalikala Cuisine is an absolute MUST when we get back to Kona. A big Hell Ya!

Kona Coffee & Tea was the place of choice here in Kailua-Kona. Located at the Kona Coast Shopping Center, you can find this little coffee shop just next door from KFC. In terms of atmosphere, Kona Coffee & Tea has plenty of seating outdoors around the porch and a few high tables indoor, where they have AC blasting at full strength.
