They had a wide variety of food, drinks, and desserts to choose from, and I loved that some items were marked with "best" labels. It helped narrow things down since everything sounded so good! I ended up getting the strawberry croffle, mango bingsoo, and strawberry ade. All of it was delicious and amazing! The space is nicely designed, and staff were friendly and pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised after stumbling on this cafe after a long day of pickleball. My husband and I shared a matcha bingsoo, which hit the spot after a long day in the sun. There is limited seating and the A/C was struggling to fight against the afternoon sun, so the bingsoo felt almost necessary. I also got a bulgogi panini and my husband got a ham and Swiss panini. The ube cream was too lite/bland for me to counter the cold brew. The star of our order was the kimchi bacon panini (not pictured). In the photo it just looks like a regular Belgian waffle but omg the texture is layed like a croissant and so so tasty. My FAVORITE coffee spot in Kona! My go-to here is a vanilla iced latte with either ube cream or pistachio cream. It is so tasty and balanced -- the purple ube and green pistachio add a nice, fun touch to my drink too! I have also tried the Dalgona (Korean candy) latte and it was good but I prefer my other two drinks. They use Kona coffee here of course and also offer some delicious food options. I tried the bulgogi panini and it was so Ono! The panini has yummy bulgogi and grilled onions within and is served with a tasty garlic sauce for dipping and chips on the side. I very much enjoyed it with my latte! This would be a cute spot to meet friends or clients although the interior is quite small (they have patio seating). I saw a TikTok or Instagram Reel about this place awhile back and have been wanting to try it ever since. They're located at Keauhou Shopping Center, closer to the KTA side, and there's lots of free parking. We came here at about 10:30AM on a Sunday, and it was pretty crowded inside. There's a handful of counter seats inside, as well as a few tables outside. I think there's additional seating around the shopping center if those get full. Everything here looked so delicious, but I ended up ordering their strawberry cream croffle. Croffles are probably one of the most genius inventions. Who would've thought to press a croissant like a waffle?!? Anyways, the croffle itself was the perfect amount of crispiness. The cream was super light and not too sweet. This croffle was perfect! It wasn't super filling though, so I had to go to KTA after to get more food. Service was friendly and efficient. It seems like one person is making the drinks before your food comes out, which is perfect while you're waiting. I will definitely be back and want to try some of their savory items! read more

LOL Anyway, Clover and Mug have panini sandwiches, croffles, LOTS of coffee, drinks, and Bingsu (Korean shaved ice). They spell it Bing-soo here. While vacationing in Hawaii, I really wanted to try Bingsu once I found out they had it. Unfortunately, Clover and Mug have a limited selection of flavors for Bing-soo since they focus more on coffee. I had mine personalized. Oh my god, it's like I was eating snow! This is the best version of shaved ice I've ever had! The texture is better and retains more flavor than other shaved ice. I wish we had some back here on the mainland, where I live. read more

DAY 4 of Vacation - My mission in Hawaii was to visit as much local Kona coffee shops as I can. Half way through my stay and this is the 3rd coffee shop I've visited. Parking: Large parking lot. Finding a spot is easy. Free parking. Ambiance/Environment: This spot is located in Keauhou Shopping Center which is down the street from our hotel. They have a small indoor space with very limited seating. It can feel a bit tight as there are constant customers coming in n out. They also have some outdoor seating. Service: The cashier that assisted us was nice and efficient. The baristas were quick. Throughput took under 5 min from ordering. Drinks: 1) Dalgona Latte - This was labeled as their "best" latte. I ordered an iced 12 oz. This drink was definitely strong and thick. I could taste the coffee with every sip. If you need something to stay awake the whole day, I recommend this drink. 2) Ube Cream - This was labeled as their "best" cold brew. My BIL ordered this as a 12 oz. It's their freshly brewed cold brew topped off with ube foam. I took a sip, and I thought the ube flavor came through, the foam is light & not thick, and the cold brew wasn't too watered down. 3) Strawberry Banana Smoothie - This was labeled as one of their "best" smoothies. Their smoothies and ade are only offered in a 16 oz. My bf ordered this and mentioned that it tasted as expected. He really liked the strawberry pieces. 4) Strawberry Latte - This no longer contains coffee! When we visited, they haven't updated their menu yet. The cashier informed us while ordering and asked if we still wanted this. My MIL still wanted it. She mentioned the only thing she can taste was milk and some strawberry bits. read more
