    Strawberry and cream croffle
    Anthoinette M.

This little coffee shop had a line out the door, so I had a feeling it was going to be good and it definitely lived up to the hype! I tried a strawberry and cream croffle for the first time, a delicious croissant and waffle blend that combines two of my favorite things into one. It was light, flaky, and the strawberry and cream filling wasn't overly sweet and complemented the pastry beautifully without feeling heavy. It was the perfect little bite to start the day. I'll definitely be back!

We tried a latte with soy milk and a strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Both drinks were on the sweet side. We were expecting the latte to have no added sugar, but it seemed like the latte had some added simple syrup or sugar in it. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, this would be a great place for you!

This mango bingsoo was so magical. Ive never had anything like it. It made be believe in bingsoo again. The mango, SO fresh. The shaved ice - i dont think it was actually ice, potentially shaved frozen milk?? Not sure but i believe thats what made this bingsoo stand out from all other bingsoos. SO fluffy. It's a MUST TRY!!

Definitely had the best coffee of our trip in Kona! We tried the Dalgona Latte and when the barista said the sweetness stays as the ice melts, she really meant it! Also had the croffle here and it was delicious!

Cute little coffee shop with alot options for lunch or a sweet breakfast bite. Not a ton of seating inside but plenty outside! The front cashier was so quick and efficient, taking orders while also making coffee. I really enjoyed my bulgogi sandwich with spicy mayo, light on the chips and a small pickle. The croffle was delicious. Overall this place was popular and a solid choice for coffee shop but the portions were pretty small for the price.

Clean inside, amazing AC, the bingsoo tasted like from Korea!! Highly recommend. I've heard of this place but finally went to check it out and I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to try it. I've also tried the bulgogi panini ....I'd order it every day if it was on my daily commute!

I stopped by here for the first time from a friend's recommendation. It's a small, cute cafe located in the Keauhou Shopping Center. We came on a weekend around 5pm, and it wasn't too crowded. They had a wide variety of food, drinks, and desserts to choose from, and I loved that some items were marked with "best" labels. It helped narrow things down since everything sounded so good! I ended up getting the strawberry croffle, mango bingsoo, and strawberry ade. All of it was delicious and amazing! The space is nicely designed, and staff were friendly and pleasant. I definitely plan to come back again and try their coffee and a sandwich next time. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Very convenient location in Keauhou Shopping Center so there's lots of free parking and it's near the front entrance from Ali'i Drive. Lovely curb appeal, you can see this establishment from the roadway. Can't miss it!! At first glance of their coffee menu, it states that they use 100% Kona Coffee, love it! We both had the Americano and we skipped any sugar or flavor so that we could enjoy the real 100% Kona taste. So smooth! If you're hungry, they have Korean food options available. We saw everyone in line ordering food with their coffee. Great Kona coffee, friendly service, and super convenient location. We will absolutely return! Maybe this afternoon, to get bingsoo :)

Mango smoothie with black sesame. Very delicious

I love visiting Clover and Mug. Great food and service with a quaint atmosphere. Definitely try black sesame on their smoothies!!

Small and cozy Korean style cafe with tasty bites and quick service! My partner and I shared the strawberry croffle and mango bingsoo. The croffle was toasty with sweet strawberries and fresh cream. A bit messy to eat, but so worth it! The mango bingsoo was fluffy, milky, and covered with sweet-tart mangoes. An absolutely wonderful treat on a hot Kona afternoon. Didn't try any drinks since we had two sugary sweets, but looking forward to trying the dalgona latte next time.

    Bulgogi panini

Visiting for a quick Kona staycation. Clover and Mug hit the spot for a yummy breakfast. We ordered the tuna melt panini, bulgogi panini, strawberry matcha and a strawberry and crème croffle. We devoured everything. Enjoyed the chips and side dip.

I think the crepe may have been made with buckwheat as it was darker in color and had a rich taste. All savory crepes come with cheese which doesn't work for me so they put that on the side for hubby to have. Definitely recommend this cafe. I walked in and was completely ignored though there were two people behind the counter and only one person in line ahead of me. I waited patiently, feeling like this was a test. Locals know you go slow and be patient and you get good service. Aloha only. As friendly as I could possibly be, I asked for drip coffee of which there was only the dregs left in the pot, but enough to fill my cup. I was okay with that and paid, about $4.20 before tip... then found my cup (16oz) was only half full. I said thank you cheerfully and left, thinking they'll just pour the rest of that pot down the drain. The food looks good if a little expensive, but I'll never go back there. There's other places where the service can really suck but the food is ono and the price is good, like L&L. You can get a meal there for less than $10. I can deal with poor service, but poor service and high prices... nah bro.

Great Kona coffee in a wonderful casual atmosphere!…read more I had to meet up/interview a potential Big Island candidate in Kailua-Kona and I was basically looking for a casual place where I could meet, enjoy a drink, and have a little bit of conversation. Kona Coffee & Tea was the place of choice here in Kailua-Kona. Located at the Kona Coast Shopping Center, you can find this little coffee shop just next door from KFC. The coffee shop is easy to find, as other business surrounding this business is the KTA Superstore, Hele Gas Station, HFS Federal Credit Union, O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as many numerous eateries. It was late in the afternoon, so I basically came here for some drinks. I had to try their Kona Coffee, and I must say it did not disappoint! The coffee shop has indoor, as well as covered outdoor seating. The shop does sell some food items, but I did not partake or looked at what they had to offer. There was also coffee shop merchandise, but I did not have time to take a look at what they had to offer. Overall, as great coffee shop and if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for their wonderful coffee.

Unless you're a coffee connoisseur, you may want to skip the pour over for something a bit less special to save yourself a few dollars. The coffee was fine, but my unrefined palette was not able to fully appreciate the cup of brew. In terms of atmosphere, Kona Coffee & Tea has plenty of seating outdoors around the porch and a few high tables indoor, where they have AC blasting at full strength. They have free Wi-Fi available as well, so I saw a lot of people posting up on their laptops. Parking is plentiful and easy to find since this coffee spot is located in a strip mall. If you have a discerning palette for the subtle flavors that show up in different coffee beans, you will definitely want to stop by for a cup.
