First time here. It's a very small place but they make do with the limited space. Our party was 7 and they sat us comfortably. Our waiter was very attentive and kept up with all our appetizer, drink and entree orders. The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered sooo many items and all were delicious. I think the standout was the tuna appetizer (I think that's what it was called) it was sooo fresh and flavorful and the sauce it was in was good enough to drink! lol. I recommend this place for sure. I didn't get pics of everything but here are a few that I did take.

I still love this place. I went here for dinner tonight. It was my son's first time trying sushi and he liked everything he tried. We shared the vegetarian egg rolls. I had the mango avocado sushi roll and the sweet potato tempura roll. The sweet potato tempura roll was crunchy and savory. I got the lemon sake jar. It tasted like lemonade. I will be back here.

What a great find! I stopped in for a quick lunch and it may be my new go to place. The staff are very nice and the portion of fish to rice was exceptional. The salmon was very fresh and the rolls came out quick when I placed my order.

Hinode sushi was a pleasant surprise in Oviedo. My friend and I didn't like driving too far for sushi, so she recommended Hinode. Wow, it was one of the best sushi I have had in Central Florida. We went on a Tuesday evening, and it was packed. The restaurant is small, so we sat in the bar area instead. Regardless of being extremely busy, our server was attentive and helpful. This is what we ordered: * Toro Toro roll * Black Widow * Pops roll * Typhoon roll * Steamed dumplings * Crab Rangoon Everything we ordered was delicious! and presentation was 10/10. I highly recommend this spot if you want to try amazing sushi.

Great Japanese food and sushi! We had good service while here and it is a small place with a nice ambiance.

YUM! So nostalgic as my husband and I's first ever date was out for sushi, but this place was 10000000x better. It's pretty small inside but they have about 10-12 tables maybe?? And the place was full on a Thursday night. We ordered the crab Rangoon and 4 different sushi rolls and everything was so good! The Rangoon came out piping hot and the sushi was so fresh and delicious. The Titan Roll was a favorite for both of us! We will be back! So happy to find a yummy sushi spot in Oviedo but not in the craziness of Oviedo on the park.

First time eating here. Ordered for pick up and was ready within 25 minutes. The quality of the sushi was amazing!! Nice portions as well... the only reason for the 4 stars is due to their online pricing not being updated Will definitely be coming here more often (:

This is a go-to place for me and my friends! We love coming here and I love taking new people here as well! Everyone always seems to love this place afterwards--the food is amazing and the service is friendly! Food comes out very quick and always is a delicious meal!

Being left on hold for over 15 minutes.

I have eaten here multiple times and one thing I will say is if you are in a rush this is not the place for you. If you order close to closing they just put you on hold and never come back. The food is good but in my opinion not worth the wait.

The cocktails I selected were not all that strong, but they were visually appealing. I absolutely loved the Buffalo Rock Shrimp. It had the perfect amount of spicy kick. We ordered an additional one since it was such a hit. The edamame is addictive. The only dish that fell flat for me was the Coco Roll. Nothing special really. Our server Lucy was hardworking and provided stellar service. She guided me to try their rośe sake, Amabuki, which was beautifully light, crisp and smooth. Lucy had us laughing and feeling good. We would love to be served by her again. This location is artistically styled inside with eye-catching Asian touches. It gets busy and ends up being somewhat noisy, but we could still hear each other at our corner table. The intimate lighting creates a sophisticated aura. Soon I'll return for their brunch since it has received rave reviews.

Amazing Happy Hour with Creative Sushi & Cocktails…read more Sushi Pop exceeded our expectations! Their happy hour is one of the best in the area, with a fantastic selection of sushi, small plates, and handcrafted cocktails at great prices. Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully plated, and tasted incredibly fresh. Some of our favorites were the crispy sushi tacos, which had the perfect crunch and were topped with creamy avocado, fresh herbs, and flavorful sauces. The bao bun was soft, fluffy, and packed with tender, savory meat and crisp pickled vegetables. We also tried several sushi rolls, including spicy and fresh fish options, and every bite was well-balanced and high quality. The tuna dish was exceptionally fresh and melted in your mouth. The cocktails were just as impressive--creative, refreshing, and beautifully garnished. They're definitely worth trying during happy hour. It was the perfect spot to enjoy drinks with friends while sharing a variety of dishes. The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and sophisticated while still feeling comfortable and casual. It's ideal for date night, girls' night, or a fun evening out. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience even better. Overall, Sushi Pop delivers outstanding food, excellent drinks, beautiful presentation, and exceptional service. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend checking out their happy hour--you won't be disappointed!

I had the teriyaki tofu which was perfectly coated in a light crispy shell, and the tofu was silky and melted in your mouth. The plate came out bubbling in a skillet. The ramen comes out in a massive cauldron! Also hot and ready. They have sriracha available if needed. The sushi was so fresh and flavorful. It was made by the sushi chef in house and visible to watch him make it. It was wrapped perfectly and everything came out fast. The portions were generous. The price is perfect for the proportion size and also the fact that everything tasted so good. Some dishes come with a side salad and miso as well. The waiter we had was apart of the family that owns the restaurant. I'm surprised it's a mom and pop place because it felt so rich and nice. This is my new go-to spot. Everyone you have to try it!

Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!

It's always a rush to get Magical Dining people out the door, but not here. Loved it. The food was really, really good. It outshines so many other sushi places in Orlando. No wonder it's on the Michelin guide. Cons: Not a single con. A really nice experience. Tips: If you're looking around for Magical Dining places, and are wondering if you should come here, the answer is yes, you should. You absolutely must order the Berkwood St. Louis Sticky Ribs. But do not pay the extra for that Ube Cheesecake. Not worth the upgrade price.

There are a lot of good menus out there this year, but Kabooki just stood out. A good variety, great sounding flavors, customizable sushi entree. It was a clear good choice to make. Ambiance is always great at Kabooki. Dimly lit, a sleek, energetic bar right up front, an omakase bar over in the corner with a great view of the chef's working, and a playlist that just won't quit. It's all very swanky and full of hexagons. Service was great, too. We had a very nice, attentive server. And even though the pace was certainly not lackadaisical, we did not feel rushed at all, which is unusual for a Magical Dining reservation. Usually the restaurants can't wait to get us out the door, but here, we felt very welcome. It was nice. As for the food, for a $60 menu, they had their work cut out for them. would coming here be worth paying $40 total for both our meals? Long story short, yes, absolutely it was. Apps Maguro Truffle (tuna, bubu arare, shiitake crèma, balsamic truffle soy, serrano peppers). This was banging. Huge slabs of fresh tuna, covered in crispy crunchy little circles, and that shiitake crema, very umami, I licked the plate. I wasn't about to let any of that go to waste. Hamachi Carpaccio (Japanese yellowtail, yuzu tobiko, ponzu, kaffir lime oil, yuzu kosho, serrano peppers). This was not carpaccio. It was a menu play with the wagyu carpaccio right above it. But it was five excellent slices of fresh hamachi with a very bright sauce that it was laying in. Generous slices, too. Great apps. Mains Berkwood St. Louis Sticky Ribs (braised, then crispy tempura, tossed in smoked chili, hoisin sauce). I'll say it, these were the best Asian ribs I've ever had in Orlando. Tempura crispy exterior, melt in your mouth interior, and whatever they tossed it in, including sesame seeds, formed a beautiful little crust on the outside. Best bite of the night. Hands down. Two Makimono (pick 2: tom yum roll, hawaiian x.o roll, booki booki roll, spicy tuna roll). Tom Yum (panko shrimp, avocado, topped with torched salmon, tom yum aioli, thai chili flakes, micro cilantro, lemon wedge). Hawaii XO (yellowtail, avocado, tobanjan aioli, crispy shallots, topped with white fish, lemon confit, kaiware, pink salt). Both were very good rolls. The Tom Yum aioli was a very unique touch, which is what I was looking for. I'm so jaded with rolls nowadays, I really need to be impressed. The Hawaii roll was nice, too. Looking back, I don't recall or see any crispy shallots. Make sure to compare your rolls to the menu when you come here. Desserts C4 (chocolate lava cake with dulce de leche, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate ganache sauce). This was good. Textbook lava cake with all the decadent flavors you except, and a nice, cold ice cream to pair perfectly with it. Ube Cheesecake +$8 (graham cracker crust, topped with torched meringue, toasted coconut). Only two dollars more on the regular menu, but eight dollars more here. I still wanted it so badly, but I recommend you pass on this upgrade. It was a very good ube cheesecake, but it was not add-eight-dollars better than the creme brulee would have been. Overall, Kabooki is a very good little spot. With everyone and their mother offering fresh fish and sushi rolls nowadays, Kabooki stands above a lot of them in terms of quality and quantity of their offerings. No wonder it comes Michelin recommended. I'll definitely be back one day.
