Walked in telling myself "just one donut"... yeah okay Next thing I know I'm holding a box of 6 like I showed real restraint. My inner fat kid was already side-eyeing me like "we both know that's not enough." That glazed donut though? Unreal. Soft, moist, and that glaze is straight disrespectful. Like melt-in-your-mouth, why-am-I-eating-this-so-fast kinda good. I took one bite and immediately started doing the math on how fast I could turn around and grab more without looking crazy. Halfway through the box I was already mad at myself. Who buys 6?? That's not a quantity, that's a warm-up. Should've got 12 and saved myself the emotional damage. Only reason it's not a 5/5 is because now I'm sitting here donutless, thinking about going back like a man with unfinished business. Next time I'm letting the fat kid make all the decisions
I love stopping by Island Glazed when I'm in Aiea! They have the softest donuts that melt in your mouth and a lot of different flavors to choose from. Their apple fritters are amazing, definitely grab one or two of those each time. Also their guava and Lilikoi donuts are some of my boyfriend's favorites. Super nice owner and he always makes sure to help you decide if you need a hand!
This is An amazing locally owned Donut shop with some of the best tasting, non commercialized donuts! If you haven't been here, it is an absolute must! The staff is so friendly and they are very knowledgeable of their donut flavors and delivery of quality customer service. The ambiance is a quiet place to stop and do work, or meet with friends or drop in and head to the beach. I truly appreciate the experience everytime I drop in with my kids.
Donut say it... What took me so long to finally give them a try. As far as I can remember my OG circle of friends we'd categorized ourselves through food as one was ice cream, other fries and me was donut though really not a huge donut fan as many are mass produced items with the traditional glazed topping more as a sugar treat versus a comforting bite. After visiting Claw Fever on this first New Year 2026 day I thought to see what other biz that's offering us their time by opening their doors for us lonely folks and here's Island Glazed with what seems to be a decently stocked display case filled with various fonts with the traditional glazed topping and with some island flavors like Ube, Strawberry Mango, Mango LiHing, Lychee and Pineapple just to name a few it was a difficult choice to pick just one as I was just here for a snack...Strawberry was it. Don't get me wrong as it sounds so basic versus the other bougie choices it was the specks of strawberries that I saw just from the display case that just caught my eye and just had to give them a try as if they can't do strawberry then what lol! All I could taste was strawberries and what a flavor explosion that I didn't expect and as we all have our favorites it was apparent as a guest came in and asked for an item that was sold out contemplated and walked out is disappointment lol so I can understand and appreciate the favorites and gosh I was impressed. The vibe in here is quite cozy with a large comfy sofa and four tables which I took upon as I was in desperate need to find a place to finish my holiday cards to send and immediately knew this was the place. Nice and cool air conditioned shop though without a bathroom does leave me rethinking my decision. Lots of free parking from Pearl Kai is nice and knowing that I'm able to relax and enjoy here is the real treat along with a nicely rounded meal. Thank you!

But alas, my child's hopes, dreams, and aspirations have kept us apart. A sacrifice, though my heart--and stomach--ache all the same. I still remember that first day you came into my life. We had just gotten off a red eye from Vegas to Oahu. My daughter went to baggage claim and found coffee for me while I waited at the ride share pickup spot. After picking up her car at a friend's house, she took me to Island Glazed. Nice doughnuts! I' m all about Ube when I'm on island. This gorgeous purple hued donut called out to me. Yummy! Was looking for coffee but instead found a yummy donut place. My kids were very happy about gettin donuts with different flavors too. They also had coffee which was a win for me and I tried their blueberry donut, which was very YUM! The donut was soft and melt in my mouth kind good and the flavor was savory and just the right amount of sweetness. Service was good, the guy was patient and kind especially while we were still deciding. Clean and nice big open space inside where people can sit and just fellowship too. All in all would come here again!

Really great island flavors. The donuts are really light and fluffy and not too sweet. My only complaint is the lychee flavor doesn't really come through. Prices were a little high for a donut shop but overall I would recommend.
Took two tries to get the Apple Fritters, scored them on the second attempt. I will admit the pictures I've seen on Yelp are alluring, who doesn't luv an Apple Fritter(?) but these fell flat for me. Maybe it was just the batch I bought but there were so few bites of apples it shouldn't have been labeled as such. The size is very large, the dough tender and sweet, the glaze perfect but two little cubes in the entire fritter doesn't make it in my book of fritters. Parking at Pearl Kai shopping center was great as this was an after lunch pick up. The young man at the counter was so helpful I'd come back just because of him!
Update on Island Glazed well I was craving for some good donuts and of course Island Glazed Pearl Kai shopping center . Last night my nephew friend bought him a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme (Maui) and I said yeah that's my favorite donuts . Well it wasn't the same compared to the Mainland Krispy Kreme. It wasn't as crispy and the frosting was almost melting . Of course I understand it's hot but when I'm in Vegas during hot season the Krispy Kreme donut can last up to 2days and it's still crispy lol . So that is why today I stopped by Island Glazed my 2nd best donuts in my books . Plus local support
There was a young boy who loved Island Glazed Donuts so much that he wrote a note to "Mr. Donut" aka owner, Daniel Lee. With the note was an adorable Hot Wheel Donut race car! See photo. It touched Daniel and he kept the note and Hot Wheel Donut car in an auspicious place on a store shelf. Next to it was an interesting looking Lucky Cat type doll. Not a cat but a collector type Lucky Figure given to Daniel by his friend. Daniel says, I think it's supposed to bring my donut shop good luck. Well, it's nearing it's 2nd year anniversary. So congratulations Daniel! You may wonder why I wanted to share these heartfelt stories with you? It's because it reflects the owner's character and Aloha. I picked the six pack of donuts to buy. I started to select flavors and asked Daniel for suggestions. He knew which ones were popular, so I just asked him to pick the six! Every donut was fluffy, light and full of flavor! Some reviews mentioned the donuts are oily. None of the donuts I tried were oily. The donuts were light, fluffy and the glaze (although on the sweet side) were delicious. I think my favorites were the chocolate macadamia donut and strawberry glazed donut. The donuts are still great the next day. I placed the extras in the refrigerator. Microwave for 10 seconds or less, for a soft texture or just eat straight out of the box lol. So happy I stopped by to try Island Glaze! I'll be back! Support Local! Thank you Daniel. DELECTABLE! Got in the shop @ 845am and they were nearly wiped out. Thought to myself, "must be REALLY GOOD..SAMPLE TIME!" Ordered 2 glazed donuts and 2 kolache (sausage wrapped in light & fluffy dough rolls, 1ea jalapeño cheddar and cheddar) Took ONE BITE of a donut and it melted in my mouth. So I inhaled both. HA HA HA SOFTER THAN FRESH KRISPY KREME! Not overly glazed & fresh. The kolache were also very fresh with premium sausages the size of bratwurst. 4 items @ $14 plus top tier customer service = WIN. THIS IS WHAT AIEA HAS NEEDED FOR SO LONG, A LOCAL DONUT SHOP! PS - if the owners happen to read this, I didn't take a good look around to see if there was a menu for coffee. Finally! A donut shop in Pearl City! Whoohoo! This place just opened in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center where Blazing Steaks used to be. They specialize in yeast donuts and their donuts are so light and fluffy! The first time we tried the "Island" half dozen: pineapple, mango, guava, strawberry, lilikoi, and glazed! They were all flavorful and we could guess the flavors just by tasting them! (The mango, lilikoi & pineapple were all similar in color so we had to taste them to find out the flavors). Most recently my hubby went back again to try more flavors! This time he got Strawberry Mango, Coffee, Ube, Apple Fritter, and cinnamon roll! Again, they were light and fluffy even when we ate them hours later! The hubby also said the owner is super helpful, patient, and nice. He was happy to see a few other customers in the shop while he was there and a lady that ordered 4 boxes of donuts! Clouds of dough wrapped in sugar enveloped in additional sugar and topped with flavorful, delicious frosting. Can't recommend this place enough. And, if like me, sugar is your enemy and you're selective of which enemies to admit defeat to, this place should be added to your list. Totally worth whatever extra exercise you're going to have to torture through. Also important is the staff: patient and knowledgeable about what products they have the recommendations they make. First time here so had plenty of questions and the woman at the front walked me through which flavors are popular, that the donuts are glazed before frosted, and why the generic chocolate glaze was different than other chocolate donuts elsewhere. And, she was right: their glaze is like fudge as it's so thick. Got a variety: the mango, pineapple, guava, peanut butter and jelly, matcha, chocolate, and strawberry mango. Took it back to the office and four of my teammates and I sliced up each to compare test. Each were favorable and unique. None were too strong except the chocolate which was thick frosting so like fudge. The matcha was surprising as well: you can definitely go wrong with matcha and have it come out bitter. This wasn't. My first bite was underwhelming: not bad, just initially didn't get a hint of matcha. The aftertaste though was a sweet matcha flavor - more subtle than a matcha green tea latte from a well known coffee house. In terms of flavors, my order of preference: P&B, Matcha, Pineapple, Mango, Guava, Strawberry Mango, and Chocolate. For others, chocolate came out on top but I preferred the more subtle flavors that lingered beautifully afterwards versus the first punch. The ambiance is fresh, uncluttered, airy and open. Doesn't have a lot of tables so not necessarily a place you'd imagine people congregating at for an hour to talk. Overall, just wonderful. Plenty of parking and in a rather inconspicuous space so have to be looking out for it unless you know it's there. read more

Glad to see another option for fresh yeast donuts, that has plenty of parking. The glazed is a MUST - it's super soft, moist, and melts in your mouth. My son said it's better than Krispy Kreme and I would agree. Even my super picky mom said it was good, and she ate it at least an hour after I bought it. The owner is really nice and welcoming. Got there on a Sunday at around 8am and the shelves were almost cleaned out. Love to see that for small local businesses. I decided on some Cinnamon Rolls, Donut holes, & a half dozen. I was hoping for some Long Johns but they were out :( Came out to around $37. Pricey, yes. But I love supporting local, so it was worth it. Service was friendly and the shop was nice & clean. Pretty good donuts. We came in after lunch so all the ones were sold out. We ended up just getting what was left which was the glazed and the maple glaze. I loved hope the donuts were fluffy with some crisp around the donut. It was still fresh and delicious. We were there only ones in there so service was exceptional. Doughnuts are very soft and pillowy. I would prefer less coating on the top and if they were less sweet. Still one of the better doughnuts ive had and would recommend, especially if you value tropical flavors; they dont have that artificial flavor that is common. Ube coconut filled: ube was not very sweet which makes the ube flavor shine. Coconut flavor was not too prominent but had a good texture. Banana filled: tasted like a banana pudding in a soft doughnut pillow. Very good The matcha and ube toppings were not too sweet (for american standards) which i loved, i appreciate the matcha when its more bitter; they were probably my favorites personally. The lilikoi flavor was also quite good. I would avoid the coffee topped one, it has a burnt flavor to it. Strawberry was quite good. read more

Yelp email guided me to this establishment and it didn't disappoint! When you see 5.0 on the Yelp star scale you are intrigued and have to sample. I saw their hours and called in an order for half a dozen. I called because I wanted to make sure donuts would be available when I arrived at lunch. When a donut spot produces fire donuts they usually don't last. The owner was so kind to take my order and set aside my six picks. Thanks Daniel! I was on a mission to reward myself with donuts during my lunch break therefore I rushed down as fast as I could at 12. This place might be first place for me on the island if not tied for the top dog donut king. So happy I have awesome donuts closer to ewa beach now. Will definitely be back for more. After grabbing some lunch next door, we were looking for something to satisfy our sweet tooth. Fortunately for us, Island Glazed was just next door. Our instagram feed has been flooded with pictures and mentions of this donut/coffee shop, so we were pleased to give it a taste. It was absolutely delicious. If I had to describe their donuts, I would say it tasted similarly to Krispy Kreme, but better with local flavors. I look forward to coming by here more and trying their espresso drinks. Their coffee is supplied by Ali's Coffee Co. They are located at Pearl Kai Shopping Center where there is no shortage of parking. They have a beautifully designed interior, perfect for group gatherings or quiet time alone for work or studying. Their service was phenomenal. Located in Pearl Kai Shopping, where Blazing Steaks used to be. And since its location is in Pearl Kai, there's tons of parking. Inside the cafe is spacious, clean, and inviting. Both times we went there, the service was excellent and very kind. We even got a sample of the apple fritter and it was so delightful. We got a half dozen of donuts, just to try each flavor. The donuts were soft and flavored just right. Not overbearing with sweetness. We also got a cinnamon roll. Ooohweee! The outer bites were just as soft as the middle with evenly cinnamon in every bite. Lastly, we got the jalapeño cheddar kolache. It reminds us of a larger pig in a blanket. The savory bites evened out the sugary bites we had from all the donuts we ordered. Definitely worth getting again. Will definitely go back. So glad a good donut shop is in the area. read more

Good service and donuts are bomb. I lived in Cali for 22 years so the pricing in Hawaii for donuts is outrageous. We got a dozen for $25 which was actually their half price special for being in business 1 year. Compared to Cali where a dozen is about $12-15 regular price. But, these are really good and I would come back to buy a few if I'm in the area. The Oreo and pineapple li hing are my faves. read more

Overall the donuts are very light, melt in your mouth. The flavors are there but not overly strong. I took off a star because the shop decided Sunday morning not to have filled donuts or apple fritters because of a large order. Little disappointed about this and wish we had known prior via social media so we could check out the other location as we drive into town to grab them for NFL Sunday. I'd get them again (hopeful to try an apple fritter) but won't drive out of my way to get them. read more

Weird smell as soon as we stepped in the store. Service was ok. 32$ something for dozen donuts. I don't mind paying more if the quality was good. But sad to say that the donuts were so greasy with maybe with old oil or something... i took a bite of the oreo donut. Major grease just poured out from first bite. I threw up after an hour later. Pardon my late post but I am here to say that I really enjoy this cute doughnut shop. I've visited a handful of times in the last few months. Lets keep it simple...in my humble opinion, this is the only place on Oahu where their doughnuts taste like Krispy Kreme (sorry if thats a good or even bad comparison, but I love Krispy Kreme). Island Glazed doughnuts are not too doughy (is that a word?) and are 100% melt-in-your-mouth. Their flavors are super yummy and not overly sweet. Cute, clean shop with a few tables. Lots of parking. And the staff have always been very kind, always a plus! Their goodies are on the pricier side...but I don't mind paying for good food made by nice people. FYI, try the lilikoi and guava...winners...or winnahhhz! read more

These donuts are so good! We have been in twice, and received friendly service both times. The first time we didn't make it until later in the day and they were out of most flavors, but this time around they had the ones we wanted to try and we loved them all. They're so soft they almost melt in your mouth. Personal favorite was chocolate Macadamia! There are a ton of different fruit flavors and combination, including lychee, guava, lilikoi (passionfruit), pineapple, strawberry, and mango. They're a little pricey but, it's not something I'm getting all the time so, I'd say it's still worth it for the occasional treat. read more

Unfortunately, wanted to like these donuts but the amount of oil in every bite made them inedible. See the pic of the pineapple donut... the napkin soak up that much oil that I had to use a new napkin to try to get more oil out. I see other reviews mention "light donuts " but that was not our experience. We had to toss these out. read more
Island glazed is a hidden gem! Located in a little shopping plaza it's easy to miss but let me tell you, we came to this area for poke nachos but when we saw donuts we knew we had to check it out. They have a good amount of flavors to choose from including some more local flavors like guava, mango and lillikoi. Customer service was top notch and let me tell you these raised donuts literally melt in your mouth! We got a 6 pack for the 5 of us and they were soooo delicious I wish we would have gotten more. I think my favorite donuts that day were the lillikoi and the strawberry- mango. I will definitely have to come back and check out some more flavors. read more
My husband told me about these when he got to try them. He rarely cares about food (opposite of me) so when he actually mentions something noteworthy, it must be good! He LOVES donuts so for him to say he liked them, that's saying something! He raved about the texture saying that most in Hawaii are too dense but these are light and soft. We had to visit! I love that they have local flavors. By the time we got here (1pm) they were out of kolaches (only seen these at Buc-ee's in Texas!) and guava so gotta come back earlier! We tried the strawberry mango (good flavor, light and fruity), ube (didn't really taste any ube, it was just very purple), matcha (his pick), maple (for my dad), lychee (so light could barely taste it), pb and j (my fave by far! Picked up a dozen donuts from Island Glazed as a midweek treat for the family. This is a cute little spot in Pearl Kai Shopping Center, and can I just say WOW! These delightful sweets are light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. So far I sampled the coffee, guava, lychee and maple glazed; all are really tasty. With the array of flavors there's sure to be something for everyone in your group. Service here is very friendly and they offer a 10% military discount too. For some reason my discount didn't get applied to my order and I didn't notice until I got home, but these donuts are totally worth paying regular price! read more

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. First time there, so I asked for an assortment. I left it up to them what they wanted us to try. It was an awesome assortment of different glazes. Thanks for your reply Island Glazed, but it isn't the fact that it was an "ugly doughnut" but more the fact that a quarter of it was missing after I paid for a WHOLE doughnut. Plus they're not cheap. I don't mind paying if I get quality. From now on other local doughnut shops will get my business and recommendations. read more

A good local donut shop with not so humongous donuts. I like the size of the donuts and the unique flavors they make. Please support our local businesses in the big box store world. I like their shop with the interior making you feel welcome because its size is big. You can tell they're getting popular cause the donuts were just being decimated by customers. We tried a flavor of each to whet our appetites. A must for donut lovers. I wish they made cake donuts though. read more

Ok wow! Before I tried this place, someone told me it was better than Krispy Kreme. Ngl, Krispy Kreme donut's microwaved for 8 seconds are amazing! But these microwaved for 0 seconds are amazing too! My daughter requested donuts for her birthday instead of cake. So instead of grabbing Safeway donuts like we usually get I decided to see if I could find something better on Yelp. That's when I came across Island Glazed with 4.8 stars. They close at 2 pm during the week so I sent my son around 8 am to grab a box while I headed to work so that there'd still be a selection. I told him to ask the person working to help him get the 12 best flavors. When I got home the donuts looked pretty good, a little smaller than I'm used to. I noticed couple had finger marks in the frosting so I asked my son why he wasn't more careful since he knew it was for his sister's bday and he said the person working handled the donuts and did it. So, that would be my one suggestion - to be mindful when packing the donuts. After dinner around 8pm we opened the box to put candles and sing. The donuts held up pretty well. Some just looked like the frosting soaked into the donut a bit and wasn't as vibrant as they were before. But guess what, 12 hours after we bought them they were delicious! I told my daughter to cut a piece from each so she could try all the different ones and she loved them and was super happy. Some friends joined us for her bday and everyone loved them and said they were really good. My only regret is waiting 12 hours to try them. I can only imagine how much better they'd be fresh. At $30 something a dozen they were pricier than what I'm used to but they are worth the price. I can't compare them to Krispy Kreme because I've never had one but Island Glazed is the best donut I've had. I will definitely go back so we can try them fresh. I don't like to give the kids sweets for breakfast but I'll make an exception for these donuts lol. read more

Catching up with reviews that wasn't done during the holiday season! Came by here on November 30th and one of the male workers (or maybe even the owner?) greeting me before I even entered the bakery! I went fairly early in the morning around 8, but it seems there were lots of early birds that arrived before I did! That's ok, I still got to try a variety of donuts. I believe I tried a limited flavor which was peanut butter and jelly and also got Ube, matcha, guava and Oreo I believe if my memory serves me right. The lady who took my order was also very nice and even offered me a free cup of hot coffee, some kind of special they had going on but I don't think it's valid anymore. I must say, bakery was very bright and clean! I didn't try the donuts until later in the day because I still had errands to run so it was like a full four to five hours before I ate it but they still tasted fresh, flavors were very good they tasted as advertised. It was a tad too sweet for me but with some coffee or tea it was perfect. Lovely bakery, I would definitely recommend! read more

Didn't get to try more because I came in around 11am & shelves were almost empty. But I got to try this last Chocolate covered strawberry, glaze was ok didn't taste much but the donut was very soft & fresh. Guy behind the counter suggested the plain glaze. I'm pretty sure it will be very soft, he was right better than crispy crème, I will admit that! Place was very clean, nice & relaxed. read more
Tried these donuts today and it gave me mixed emotions. I'm not to sure if it's a bad batch or what not but even my son who loves donuts didn't like it either. I ordered two donuts guava and a basic chocolate with sprinkles. Took a bite of the guava one. Flavor was great, donut was soft....packed with tons of oil gushing out. Wa so scared to try the other one. Gave it to my son who loves donuts. He bit into the chocolate with sprinkles and he complained that it was gross and oily. He's like "mom what was that? Donuts can have water?" I'm hoping the next time I try it, it would be a better batch. read more

This was our first time visiting Island Glazed and overall it was a nice experience! They have a nice and bright spacious space with a couch on one side and 4 tables on the other side. They have a wide selection of doughnuts -- we got the passion fruit glazed doughnut and it was pretty good! The doughnut was light, fluffy and not too oily. The passion fruit glaze didn't taste artificial. We'll definitely be back to try the other flavors as well. What really stood out was the service -- the owner (?) and staff were all very friendly and welcoming! We'll be back soon! read more
