    Kalbi short rib plate
    josie l.

I got kalbi short rib plate. And a spam masubi... dare I say best spam masubi in town? It was so good!! I devoured the plate! The mac salad was so creamy and fresh and the ribs were seasoned to perfection and the sauce was the cherry on top!! Staff was nice and friendly! Bathrooms were nice and clean as well! Cant wait to go back!

Came here with the hubby. Got 2 mix plate 2 item combo: 1) pupu chicken and teriyaki beef 2) chicken katsu & lemon pepper chicken. Delicious & very flavorful, their chicken is also juicy! It's a must try, they also have Samoan (Poly) plates too!

Husband loves this place! He just went there today to get everyone at work lunch specials. For $5 how do you beat that? You get a drink too!

I had the burger and it was good! Big! Took half of it home. My husband had the wedge salad one time and a sandwich the next time. We enjoyed our visit and people watching on the deck. Would definitely recommend.

I also asked whether dogs were welcome, and the hostess was very friendly and confirmed that they were. The wait to be seated went smoothly, and we were seated outside. The hostess provided us with silverware, and everything initially seemed fine. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the service became very disappointing. We spent some time looking over the menus, and during that time, we noticed two additional tables being seated after us. Those tables were later approached and offered drinks, while no one had acknowledged our table. After waiting about 20 minutes, I finally got up and asked if someone could take our drink order or if we were going to be served. The hostess was present when I asked. I returned to our table, but shortly afterward, another table was seated and their drinks were being taken while we were still waiting. At that point, we decided to leave due to the lack of service. The hostess did come outside and apologize as we were leaving, and I appreciate that gesture, but unfortunately, it came too late to change our experience. I believe the waitstaff may need additional training on recognizing and prioritizing tables that have been waiting, especially when children are involved. When I worked in customer service, if a guest had to get up and ask to be served, I would have immediately apologized, gone to the table, and at minimum taken their drink order and the children's food order. Honestly, I would have been completely understanding if our food had taken another 20-30 minutes after placing the order. What was frustrating was that we couldn't even get acknowledged or place an order. In all my years of dining out, I am usually very generous with tips when the service is attentive and the staff understands the importance of taking care of families, especially when children are involved. Unfortunately, in this situation, we never had the opportunity to experience the food or service because nothing was ever ordered or served. No pictures to share because, unfortunately, nothing was provided to us.

Plenty of juicy shredded pork, lots of real bacon pieces, mixed greens, cheddar cheese, cabbage, tomatoes and onions in perfect harmony! Pour that BBQ sauce and ranch all over, and you have yourself just the ticket after hiking 7 miles! My hubby snagged the pork verde crepes which he loved too. Check out the pics! MeMe went out of her way to find me a size small t-shirt that is beautifully screenprinted with a design that celebrates both Zion Canyon and MeMe's! Check them out! Unfortunately, it was a tad too big for me but they probably have your size. The meal was very reasonable for Zion/Springdale. We ate at the Red Rock Grill at the Lodge the night before. We told the man at the counter that we had never been there before and had some questions, which he didn't really answer. I'd never been to a poke restaurant (or shop) that didn't have the fish on display for customers to view before ordering - so it was natural that we'd have some questions. We also like to see if fish doesn't look fresh and avoid ordering those items, but we were unable to do so here. My husband and I each ordered a "1 choice" bowl, which was supposed to be served over a bed of hot rice and cabbage. When I asked for tap water, he said they don't have a tap. Really? Good thing we always carry water with us. Then, he asked us each if we wanted forks or chopsticks. He said we couldn't have both (without paying extra), and he looked at us funny when we requested chopsticks. The fish itself was fine, although there was no cabbage (it was just rice), and the portion of fish was small for the charge. One other thing that was odd about the experience. We were there for about a half hour, and while they had a steady stream of customers, I was the only woman. I don't think I've ever been in that situation before, and it felt really creepy. While that's probably not the restaurant's fault, I was so uncomfortable that I don't want to go back, and I especially wouldn't go back if I were alone.
