Not surprisingly, the wine bottles were on the more expensive side but were good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They told us to wonder about the estate and sit wherever we like and they would find us with the wine and glasses and that's exactly what they did. The staff also opened up one of the large window doors so we can have the perfect hybrid of inside and outside. We tried a couple of their flatbreads and they were tasty and paired well with the wine. This establishment has hotel rooms upstairs and is often used for events, including weddings. Overall, it's a beautiful vineyard that you can lounge in for many hours. Staff said it gets very busy on the weekends but on a Monday there was so much room and serenity.

When we arrived, the lady directing traffic was sweet and informed us that if we wanted free parking, we could simply park at the garage which is a simple 5 minute walk. I actually didn't mind it and it helped us save 25 dollars per day which was great! The check-in process was the first hiccup. Since we paid with apple pay, the credit card number didn't match the actual card that we used, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Then we had a wonderful time settling down in the room and enjoying ourselves with everything they had at their facility. They are very meticulous which I guess is great from a business perspective but a bit restrictive from a customer's perspective; for instance, they calculate how many ounces of soda you get from the cup barcode, as well as calculate how many towels you take by scanning your wristband. Understandable but restrictive nonetheless. The second hiccup was when we tried to shower and the temperature of the water kept fluctuating. As a result, I ended up getting burned from the water, which I was glad it was me instead of my toddler or newborn. We noted this issue but the engineer didn't resolve it until the next day when the issue persisted, which took away in total about 4 hours of our time to get relocated during our second night. This resulted in my kids and wife being left cold and wet from the water park without being able to shower in our room until a new room was provided for us. Abraham took care of us in that regard and even went out of his way to help us move all our stuff to the new room, which was at the end of the hallway on a different floor. Asides from the long walk, the new room functioned perfectly unlike the previous one. We really appreciated all the staff who empathized with us and tried to help us have a better experience to make up for the hours we lost trying to resolve this issue. Overall, my wife and toddler had a wonderful time with all the fun activities provided at the lodge! There is a nice, cool, pool that the kids absolutely loved playing in. The campground is also pet friendly as long as you are in an RV or at a campsite. They don't allow pets in the cabin. That wasn't an issue for us this time, but it's something to consider if you are planning on traveling with pets. The cabins themselves are fine. Nothing extraordinary and nothing to nitpick about the structure. We only had a few issues. The first was with the AC. It was set to the lowest temperature, and it still couldn't keep the room cool. Granted, we came during a heat wave, so it's probably not so bad when it's just in the 80s or lower and the humidity isn't so high. The other issue was the mattresses on the bed. They were like prison mats. So uncomfortable, and even a two inch mattress topper didn't help. If you're a young person, then it probably isn't such a major problem, but if you are over 40 or have back pain, then you definitely want to avoid these cabins or plan to bring something that may help to make it more comfortable. The last issue is the cost. We stayed for two nights, and it cost over $300. My wife booked the cabin without my knowledge, so we were stuck with it, but for that price we could have stayed in a really nice hotel with amenities and towels and all of the things that are typically provided. In these cabins, there is toilet paper, a bath mat, and a couple of trash bags. You have to bring all of your own linens and towels. You also need to bring all of your own toiletries. And if you want coffee in the morning, either plan to bring a small machine and your own coffee, or you can take a 10-15 minute trip into one of the nearby towns. So, for the price and all things considered, I would not recommend booking a cabin here. The RV and campsites seem fine, and our in-laws paid a little less than half of what we paid for their RV site, so I would recommend it for that purpose.

She handled a busy bar with professionalism and a great attitude. What really stood out, though, was watching the chef come out and speak to her in an incredibly rude and disrespectful way in front of a full bar. No employee deserves to be treated like that, especially not someone who was clearly carrying so much of the workload. Kudos to her for staying calm, keeping her composure, and continuing to provide excellent service despite being spoken to in such a rude manner. She was the reason our experience remained positive.
