Ok...so the building is a little shady looking. As you walk upstairs to the office, it doesn't get any better. Seriously judge a book by its cover. We started our vacation with my back locked and in spasms...not a great start. I called in the morning and they were able to accommodate me by the afternoon. Dani the therapist seriously melted away my pain. She was open to me switching of the pressure and was not annoyed by me telling her how to do it...not that she didn't know what she was doing but I know what I needed for my pain. I literally was like butter on the table. I go for massages regularly...this by far was not the prettiest ... but great therapy. I believe they will come to you for a minimum of 2 people. Probably a better choice if you want a relaxing environment. Will be using them again but to come to me. BRING CASH!!! read more

Staff is super friendly and the location is excellent. I live off the island and Island Massage is literally just over the bridge. Prices are par for the industry. The massage... Linda treated me and she has great knowledge of the body and massage techniques. She only targeted certain areas as per my request and she nailed it. Best massage I've ever had. She listened to my needs, dove right in, and shared great information with me. Having a background in exercise science I have great appreciation for someone like Linda who is passionate about her craft as well as educated in all areas of the body. Pleasantly surprised! I never would have heard of this place had it not been for a flyer in a restaurant. Honestly, the building itself is old and a little grungy, but once you get inside it is small but clean. Beth was great - probably one of the best massages I've ever had! You could tell she is very committed to making the massage an experience from start to finish. She used deep pressure without hurting and focused on the areas I requested. Prices are not bad at all - $125 for 90 minutes. Plus, she actually went the full 90 minutes and didn't try to end early, the way many places do. Such a pleasant surprise! First of all, the work phone was answered after 8pm! That was huge, I got an appointment the next day. I was a little put off by the exterior of the building, as much of LBI has older buildings. You need to park in the 8th Street parking lot. The office was clean and comfortable. Heather was AWESOME. I started with a 60 minute and decided to stay for 90 minutes! I went in with major issues with my traps and foot, and came out feeling amazing. So good in fact, that I booked an appt. for my husband the next day! I hope to go back this week. You will not be disappointed. Prices totally reasonable! read more

Awesome experience! Staying at a hotel with a friend nearby. Passed the sign for island massage and i am so glad i did! Was able to get an appointment for the next day which was great. It is tucked away in an office building. Very tranquil environment that promotes healing. Caring and professional staff. The bed was awesome to lay on.
