Buckle up, a long review about why you shouldn't visit this location!!!…read more I chose this location because there was a Cryotherapy and Hydromassage bed. With a $120+ a month membership - you can receive both of these treatments. However, the beds last ten minutes. Therefore, I would need to use the bed two or three times each visit. This was NEVER a problem at this location or any other location. Last month, I was in a flare up that left me unable to walk most days and on bed rest by 1-4pm most days. When arriving at the Hurstbourne location, desperate for pain relief, the salon director told me I couldn't do the cryotherapy or hydromassage twice in a row. I explained that this was never an issue before. Nor is it suitable or supportive of chronic pain relief. Ten minutes once a day just doesn't do the trick. The salon director wasn't receptive or apologetic. This lackluster behavior, terrible customer service, and inconsistent communication between staff wasn't new. Every employee at this location (minus a sweet lady with glasses), doesn't greet you upon entering the building. They will finish their phone call, texting, inappropriate conversation with a client etc. before you are greeted. I have waited ten minutes to be greeted but on average three minutes. Maybe it's just me, but I would never be on ny phone in front of clients, let alone full inappropriate conversations in front of clients! The salon director with long brown hair has had full conversations on her phone lasting five minutes before greeting me. There is another shorter employee with brown medium length hair that has terrible customer skills. Based on the times I would visit, these employees are who would help me out. I could go on about the terrible service and silly new rule set on med spa equipment. However, Google doesn't allow that many characters. And I would visit another location if the cryotherapy was elsewhere. As I refuse to visit a location where it's uncomfortable and staff doesn't take pride in their customer service. This type of treatment is a slap in the face to people paying hard earned money for extensive services. After almost a year at STC, I switched back to my MedSpa. More expensive but worth it to not dread dealing with their customer service and leaving with a negative experience when you go almost daily! As someone with debilitating chronic pain and dis-abilities, the last experience I need or want to go through is humans that don't care about you. Those of us with dis-abilities are already invisible and ignored by society. And to be treated inhumane is not worth ten minute pain relief.

I was told my husband had outstanding payments due after he stopped going and without telling me they just took $120 of $160 out of my account. Next I had a $307 charge the next week. Exactly 7 days. I again called and threw a fit. Let's face it we could fly to the virgins islands for less than $500 for a real tan. The girl was new and overcharged us on packages. He was getting $99 for a year tanning bed package. But wait M! He still is charged $28.99 a month and I'm charged $69.99 a month I tan once every three months. I know I've experienced a sense of stupidity many times standing there in front of the staff after they have asked if I checked in online (one checks in online to avoid having to wait around for services, and it is theoretically very convenient, but it gets tricky if you add services to your original purchase), and I say "no, because what I want to do isn't available in my profile." They used to smile and ask to see my phone and show me that in fact, it was. Now, they struggle to find even my profile in the computer. That aside, I've been to the St. Matthews location and Belknap location, and both are great. They keep the places very clean, don't oversell you on nonsense, and kindly answer questions when you have them. They also let me try red light therapy for free before I bought any sessions.

It's always calm and quiet inside, no loud music playing which makes it an even better experience. The staff are friendly and make appointments go smoothly.
