Upstairs they replaced the entire floor with a stain resistant (3 small kids!) white patterned carpet. Jim, the owner of Melbourne Flooring personally oversaw the entire project and even worked all day by himself in Sunday because he wanted to give his crew time off, but not lose momentum on the project. They told us it was probably from humidty coming from the concrete. My neighbor had them do the same thing and their lanai has cloudy spots too. She ended up with extra boxes and was later told they would not take them back--even though they originally said they would. The installation process also came with several delays and excuses. While the job was finally completed, there were unexpected extra costs, including hiring a plumber--something that was never mentioned upfront. My mom is older, but she's still sharp, and it's frustrating when promises aren't fully honored. It's important for businesses to stand by their word, especially when working with seniors.
