I used them one last time, hoping they perhaps would have improved as I know they have gotten many poor reviews. NOPE, what I found was the staff were rude, unprofessional, actually lied about intention to help me and completely not helpful. I had a dryer delivered 2 weeks ago. I was not home during the delivery. When I got home I noted significant dirt tracked in by the delivery men, dirt marks all over my expensive carpeting that would have to be professionally cleaned. I also noticed where the men literally dragged the very heavy machine up the carpeted stairway, leaving drag marks at the edge of each step. I immediately called the store and spoke with MARK. I explained the situation and Mark assured me that he would have the delivery company that they contract with call me the next day and they would take care of any damaged cause. Several days went by and I heard nothing. I subsequently called MARK 4 SEPARATE TIMES leaving a detailed message each time, with no call back. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Bottom line, look at the numerous poor reviews on Smithtown Appliance, they are true!!! Do not use this company if you expect good, reliable, professional service. Washing Machine stopped midstream and wouldn't drain or turn. So I went to Yelp and put in a repair quote for my appliance guy Pete who I've used several times with outstanding service. He immediately replied that he was closed because of Covid 19. But I also received an immediate response from Billy of Island Appliance who said Connie was in the office and to giver her a call to set up an Appt. So I did. Connie indeed was in the office at 9pm and said her technician was out on a call in Huntington. She contacted him and got back to me within 10 mins. He gave me the choice of coming by after he finished the Huntington job or tomorrow. In this crazy times of Covid 19 I was able to get immediate service. He or should I say they SHOWED UP AT 11:30pm?! YES that's exactly what I said!! 11:30pm! Appliance angels! He had the parts (Drain Pump & bearings) & fixed my washer promptly. Not sure but I think it was his son with him. He was teaching while fixing. Both were Very friendly. This truly meant the world to me because fortunately both me & my son are still working so we need to be able to wash our things in the short span of time that we are home. This was one of the most deceptive retail experiences I've had, and how management handled it afterward was just as concerning as the sale itself. We visited the Hauppauge P.C. Richard location simply to look at 48-inch ranges, hoping to find something priced similarly to the Forno models sold at Home Depot. The salesman told us that all 48-inch ranges they sell are "higher end" and start around $9,000. A few minutes later, he returned and said his manager approved a 48-inch Bertazzoni for $4,000. Because there was no 48-inch model on display, he repeatedly referenced a 36-inch Bertazzoni on the floor as the example and made it very clear the deal applied to the 48-inch version. That representation was repeated multiple times, including at the point of sale. We completed the purchase and paid by credit card. Only after getting home and reviewing the emailed receipt did I discover that the stove invoiced was not a Bertazzoni at all, but a significantly cheaper brand. We immediately returned to the store, where we were told they could not sell the Bertazzoni for that price, and the salesman claimed he had shown us the cheaper model all along, which is simply not true. This is exactly what most consumers understand as a bait-and-switch. If I hadn't carefully reviewed the receipt, I would have unknowingly taken delivery of a completely different appliance than what was repeatedly represented. Management later issued a refund and apologized, which I acknowledge. However, district management later characterized the entire incident as a "miscommunication" and declined to honor the sale that was repeatedly presented. That response is important. When conduct like this is minimized rather than meaningfully corrected, it tells customers what the company is willing to tolerate. I'm sharing this so others know what to watch for. At this location, verbal assurances mean very little, and the burden is on the customer to catch mistakes after the fact. That is not how a reputable retailer should operate.

Father Natures is very conveniently located on the corner of Sunrise Hwy & Irish Lane and has a huge array of flowers, indoor & outdoor plants, succulents and every gardening tool & accessory you'll ever need. They have their own version of 'miracle grow' plus an array of other products like seed, fertilizer etc., which I bought, don't know how good it works yet. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, I highly recommend them for all your gardening needs

So, if you are trying to save a buck, go to those super-stores and get something and cross your fingers that it will grow. Or, go to Father Natures and get those special plants and veggies that come with a one-year (or season) guarantee!
