Just called. Guy was upset for whatever reason. Finally he asks what I need, I tell him that we are locked out of one of the rooms in our house so we need to get the door open and asked if we could also get a spare. He says he can't make a spare without something to duplicate, so I tell him the key is inside the room to which, coated with attitude he says " so you just need us to open the door then." So I say "no... I need the door open and would like a spare as well". He continues being challenging until he realizes he made a mistake but I ended up just saying nevermind and that I'll find someone else. Had the ultimate fail moment and locked the keys in the apartment and shut the door. Locked out and no one could help at that point so I looked for a locksmith. 0530 in the morning I was rushing to head out to the gym. Got everything, locked the door. Both of my front doors. Thought I was good but when I reached in my pocket to unlock my car I realized my keys weren't there. That's when I knew I LOCKED MY KEYS INSIDE MY CRIB. Too early for most locksmith companies to be taking calls. I had to take action on my own to fix it but no bueno. So I went to look for a locksmith available. Like I said, it was too early. There were some that's 24/7 but they have other appointments that they had to go to, somewhere far from my location. Then there was the matter of finding a new handle/lock that would work for our condo lanai door. He had to come back a second time for that. My apartment door knob/lock wasn't opening when the knob was turned, and I knew it wasn't an easy fix. Called Shai on Friday evening, and he was very courteous, and told me I could save a few $$$ by waiting until Saturday AM. Not a problem, since I wasn't staying there. We agreed upon a time. On Saturday, Shai called when he was 15 minutes out, arrived promptly, gained entry into the apt within 8 minutes, took apart and diagnosed the problem on a 38 year old lock, and luckily, had parts to repair it in his work vehicle.
