The spa is very nice and very clean. They have a well organized, wide variety of polishes. They do a great job with amenities and pampering; a drink or hot neck wrap with your manicure! Also I have found that my manicure will stay chip free 1 to 2 extra days, yay! Despite all of these great things, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is almost twice as expensive as some of the other, reputable salons in town. My friend booked appointments for 3 of us to celebrate her birthday and catch up. I was booked for a shellac manicure and a normal pedicure on accident as I wanted a shellac pedicure only. The lady that greeted us promptly told me they did not have time or staff to do a shellac pedicure because Saturday's are busy. I decided to wait for my friends and somehow she found someone to do my pedi. The lady painted my toes first...no soaking, no cleaning, no cuticle clean up, she asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and although I said "yes", my toe nails are the same length as before the service. I was given about 15 colors to choose from, my usual salon has at least 100 shellac color choices!! When my toes had been painted, she put my feet in the water for around 5 seconds before scrubbing them with a file, after that she rubbed a salt mixture on my legs and little lotion and we were "done". I was dumb founded, no dry skin cleaned from my toes or cuticle clean up or real massage of my legs so you can imagine my shock and horror when they charged me $75 for the experience!!! SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS!!! I don't give a rats behind if you've got Chanel throw pillows, chandeliers and fancy wall paper...the service is TERRIBLE and at that price a definite RIP OFF. I'm 6 months pregnant and would rather have spent my money on a million other things!!! Unless you love expensive, less than desirable services...I DO NOT recommend this salon. read more

I love the new Isle Pedispa location! The decor is absolutely fabulous! The place is very clean and they go the extra mile to see to your comfort. Warm neck wraps, choice of beverage, and friendly people. The nail tech that I request is Hang - she is very friendly and sweet and has great attention to detail. I used to go to the Rice Village location but I was glad to find out they opened this location since it is a little closer to home. Now...if they would just open a salon on the Northwest side of Houston I would be in total heaven! read more

Super cute and great for an experience-type gift or get together. It lost a few stars for their unwillingness to do anything above and beyond for my mom on her 70th birthday treat there. They actually held back a bit, left off a service that was supposed to be included in my pedi, and the other amenities that were supposed to be included (herbal neck wrap, mimosas, etc) - we had to specifically ask for in order to get them. In other words - they didn't offer a single thing without being asked and sometimes when we asked they gave us a hard time. Then they wanted a tip. So - it's fun and very beautiful inside but I don't think the substance was all there when you get down to it at this particular location. Other locations might be better. I don't regret it because mom had fun, but I probably won't do it again just for myself. read more

Isle Pedi Spa was fabulous. My aunt and I came in without an appointment and they worked us in and gave us a private room. The manicure and pedicure was outstanding. Ly, Sophie, and Haley were wonderful. The massage during the mani pedi was long and the aroma of all the products was really pleasing. The almond drying oil especially. I have been going to this location for a while and up until today the service had been great. Today I went for a pedicure and for a set of acrylic nails to be put on. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and did a good job. The person who did my nails was awful - she had a terrible attitude right from the start (miserable and surly) and proceeded to do my nails without asking me how I wanted them. I had asked for "French" and I ended up having half a nail of white and half of pink - when I saw how bad/fake the white part of the nails looked, she did not apologize or offer to redo, she just said "I can cut them" - the whole point of having these nails was so that they would look longer than mine. I then told her that the nails were sticking to my skin - she puffed and panted and took the drill and attempted to unglue the underneath. While doing this she managed to burn my skin which really hurt - she did actually apologize for this. When I checked out, the lady asked me how my treatment was and I showed her my nails and told her that I was unhappy with how thick the white part of the nails looked and that my tech had a bad attitude, I also asked what her name was and the receptionist would not tell me - she just said she would make a note that I didn't want the same person again. Generally shocking, unprofessional service all around. read more

Very friendly staff! I got a manicure by Jenny, who is very nice and makes you feel welcome. The front desk staff also made me feel quite welcome. Sydney gave me a tour of the gorgeous facility and answered all of my questions with a smile! I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming here again! read more

I have come here in the past knowing it was pricier than other nail salons but definitely clean. It was never the best but decided to try it again for a dip manicure. I went twice to see how it lasted and both times it took the girl an HOUR AND A HALF to refill my dip manicure. Ridiculous. And to top it off the last time I went they charged me an extra $15 to "soak off" my dip in addition to the refill which was somewhere around $60!! So all in it was about $75!!! Is this a joke??? I tried asking the girl who checked me out why this was and she literally ignored my question. Told me she would have a manager call me back (btw, there was NO manager to be seen). No call back. I called the salon on Kirby as well and left a message to ask about the pricing and she said "oh maybe bc our prices went up." Ummm ok??? Makes zero sense to me why they feel the need to charge an extra $15 for a procedure that should be already included in the service since I had been there before. Completely disappointed. Disappointed that after a week and two days, not ONE MANAGER HAS REACHED OUT TO ME. I even called again today and left two messages. I will not be going back. Don't waste your money! read more

I've been going to this place since it first opened! I used to have to drive to Rice Village for my manipedis and was soo happy to hear that they were going to open another shop closer to home. The customer service here is always spectacular and all the girls are really sweet. I've found the work at other places to be hit and miss depending on which nail technician you get, but my nails always look great, no matter who I go to at this place! read more

My new favorite place!! I have been a loyal fan of their Kirby location but this one is much closer to my work. Everything and everyone is fabulous!! They have a great area for parties or just by yourself and private rooms to accommodate 2 or more. Still the best quality pedicure and manicure I have ever had. Everything is clean and sanitary and as a dental hygienist that is my main concern. The staff is well trained on the newest and hottest nail trends and are very customer friendly. The front desk is also so nice and helpfully in accommodating my schedule. I started going to Isle Pedispa over two years ago. Tiffany does my pedicures. She is absolutely wonderful. She is always very friendly and professional. I have a couple specific things I want her to do for my pedicures, and she is very understanding and even remembers my little quirks. Tiffany also is meticulous about painting right up to my cuticle and painting the whole nail (which might sound silly but not everyone does this). My pedicures have been lasting a month with her! Disappointed. This place costs way too much money for services to be "accidentally" forgotten. You obviously select the type of manicure and pedicure because it comes with the services listed below that you want, not part of what's listed. Even if it may seem small, again you're paying over double the cost if you were to go somewhere else because you're expecting the services and quality to match what you're paying. Both times that I pointed out that the service was not in full I asked if I accidentally picked the wrong type and they assured me no it wasn't me, they forgot. This being said all I got in return was an apology, they would make a note, and nothing else. no offer to take a percentage off or any indication they wanted to make up for the fact I said I selected these types for all their specific services included. I've been to places that cost half as much and go above and beyond, I guess I'll continue to go to those places instead, at least I know what I'm getting. read more

Wow! Talk about a great pampering experience. Isle Pedispa really takes getting a manicure and pedicure to a whole new level. The options are so luxurious and fun. I went alone, but it would be easy to go as a group (It would be best to make an appointment, especially for a group, if you want to go at a busy time like after work or over a weekend.). The spa is set up with little alcoves. The atmosphere is very trendy and hip...much more fun than any other nail spa I've ever seen. It actually smells wonderful and is very very clean (They autoclave all of their tools, which is very important to me!). I had the coconut pedicure and a manicure with paraffin. My hands are ridiculously dry, and the manicure went a long way toward making them softer. The pedicure was really terrific, and not only do my toes look great, my heels and calves are now super smooth. The two ladies who took care of me were Hang and Kay, and they were just lovely. I really enjoyed my time with them. They do serve alcohol with some of their services and offer other drinks (ie. water, etc.) as well. In my opinion, Isle Pedispa is the ultimate in fun and relaxation. Try it, you won't be sorry! read more
