I do not recommend this office. I called because of the strong Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my…read moreexperience was the opposite. This was a one-minute phone call, and it was enough to turn me off. I explained that we had already done a consultation with another oral surgeon in Saginaw and were shocked by their request for $2,000 upfront, which is why I was calling around for options. Before I could even explain further, the woman immediately cut in with, "Wisdom teeth removal is $4,000-$6,000," which felt dismissive and rushed. When I asked how that could apply to an insured patient--since in-network providers are limited to insurance-allowed amounts--she clarified that was the cash price, not the insured price. I explained that we have insurance and even dual dental coverage. She then told me they only bill the primary insurance, expect patients to pay the balance up front, and require the patient to file the secondary insurance themselves. While this may be common with some private dental offices in DFW, that doesn't make it reasonable. National dental groups understand how to bill properly by submitting both insurance plans and only collecting what they reasonably expect the final patient balance to be. In our case, that meant going from being asked to pay $2,000 upfront elsewhere to paying $300 upfront, with the expectation that the full amount would likely be refunded once secondary insurance processed. When I declined to continue the conversation, her response was a cold, uninterested "Have a good day." No explanation, no attempt to discuss options, and no effort to retain a potential patient. I never even got to this office's actual pricing because I was being rushed off the phone. For comparison, I contacted Monarch Dental, and the experience was night and day. They reviewed both insurance plans over the phone, gave a clear explanation, and booked my son's surgery in under 48 hours. The surgeon's reviews were excellent, and the process was seamless. We're now booked and moving forward--but this office lost a potential customer due to poor communication and lack of patient care. Final recommendation: if you have secondary insurance or want clear billing and options, proceed with caution here. National dental groups offer a far smoother, more patient-centered experience.

Dr. Lee acknowledged our concerns and made sure we were placed in the best hands with an on site anesthesiologist for our daughter's sensitive case. She had several extractions and was taken good care of. Following surgery, I had questions about the medications and they helped me figure out her schedule. This is a very well run business with caring people. My daughter also LOVED the added touch of the prescription ice cream!

Dr. Lo is one of those people. A natural educator in a dental scrubs, Dr. Lo took the time to explain common misconceptions about dental hygiene with kindness and zeal. Like I said, I've never felt more excited about flossing and brushing. I took advantage of a new patient promotion for the office and am so glad that I did. The staff are welcoming and take the time to answer questions. I was not upsold on any service. From what I could tell, this dental office is more interested in giving patients what they actually need and does not try to sell products or procedures that are not necessary. It sounds like they offer a membership for self-pay patients as well that would offest the cost for those who are underinsured as well. Happy with the discovery of this dentist. Well worth the drive from Denton.

Upon relocating to Dallas finding a new dentist was one of the many things I needed to do. And finding a great dentist was more challenging than I thought it would be. Thankfully I was able to go to my Yelp app and conduct my search. A BIG thank you to Nicole J. Upon coming across her initial review for Dr. Yeary I PM'ed her to gather more information. She promptly responded and the next thing I knew I was in the chair at Dr. Yeary's. Upon my first visit I knew I was in the correct place. Talk about rolling out the red carpet...the greeting I received upon arriving was both warm and professional. Instead of handing me some forms to complete, I was seated and asked a series of questions and the next thing I knew I was reviewing the 'new patient forms' and signing. I don't know about you but I am not a fan of completing those new patient forms. This approach made this part of the process so much more enjoyable. Next was the actually appointment in the dental chair. Dr. Yeary has state of the art equipment. As someone who enjoys technology I truly appreciate the setup here. From viewing X-rays on an overhead monitor to the cleaning tools, it all contributed to a great experience. Also, when the monitor is not in use for viewing X-rays, etc, the staff will gladly put it on a TV channel of choice. How cool is it to catch up on sports (ESPN) while having your teeth cleaned? And the comfortable dental chair made feel like I was at home in a recliner. Since my initial visit I've returned a couple of times and the level of warm professional service has been consistent. On one occasion I had a tooth fixed and the entire process was painless. And to top that off, later that evening I rececived a follow up call to see how I was doing. And guess who made the call? Dr. Yeary himself. I could not think of the last time I'd received a follow up call from my dentist (or doctor). Usually it's someone on staff who performs the follow up call. As we were heading into the weekend, Dr. Yeary made it clear that if I had any issues to call and he would get back to me immediately. When is the last time you had a dentist/doctor encouraging you to interrupt their weekend if required? I don't think I've had that occur. Lastly, I truly appreciate that Dr. Yeary looks to solve issues the most cost effective way. As we all know, dental work is expensive. It's good to work with a dentist who is looking to correct the problem the most cost effective way. And I appreciate that Dr. Yeary looks at a longer term fix, not just something to get through for a 12-18 months. I am very pleased that I found Dr. Yeary and his team. They are definitely a 5 star team.

He was…read morealways pleasant and did a fantastic job on the crowns that both my husband and I have had done there. Since my last cleaning he has retired and the new consortium that bought his business hired Dr. Lacey, DDS. To make a long story short, let's just say my first impression of her was not favorable. Remember, this is my first day to meet the "new dentist" and she flaunts into the room "with an attitude" and proceeds to try to explain to me why it's "required" for them to take x-rays which I was questioning. I'm almost 85 years old and have mostly crowns in my mouth, have no issues, no pain, and I don't understand why I am forced to have x-rays and can't just get a cleaning. So I said to her, "and who are you? " She did not even bother to introduce herself to me when she came in the room. I reminded her how nice and courteous it would have been if she had introduced herself. I would expect nothing less from a professional in the health industry. I have been to a lot of doctors and dentists in my life, and I actually never encountered anyone with such a bad bedside manner as this woman. Before she came in the room, the hygienist (who was very nice, by the way) had tried to take x-rays and since I have bone spurs behind my bottom teeth (Tori?) the x-ray experience was excruciating. They took some with difficulty and when I asked them not to take any more she came in the room and keep insisting it's required. So I'm asking her why do I not have a say on what or when somebody puts something in my mouth? She kept forcing the issue and got rather exercised over the subject, bringing up that my insurance won't pay for it which didn't make sense (I don't have insurance!), that she's only following the rules and if she doesn't follow the rules she loses her license to practice and just as much said "well, you can go to someone else if you don't like it here." At that point, I got out of the chair and said "I'm done here." I never heard her say one time that she was sorry about the incident. How rude. I definitely would not recommend this dentist. I would like, however, to give a special shoutout to Elizabeth in the front office who has always been so nice to me over the years. Dr. Lacey may be a good dentist (I'll never know) but just doesn't have the communication skills for her chosen career.
