I began with invisalign treatment but eventually had to move into a hybrid of both invisalign and traditional braces. I have to admit there were times I was frustrated (and it showed lol) with the process but Dr. Woo always educated and encouraged me. She was never pushy. Her recommendations and expectations were always realistic and she listened to my concerns with care. Secondly, I think the value was great. It was slightly higher than perhaps one other place I had consulted prior however, for what I received, I think it was well worth it. All appointments, treatment (including the hybrid change), and my retainer were all included. Moreover, they offered an affordable monthly price plan. Finally, the office is clean and modern. Staff are always pleasant and personable. I never had any issues with service and appointments were always on-time. I can't even recall waiting more than 5 minutes to see the doctor. Appointments are also convenient with some Saturdays available. Overall, it was a great experience. I now have a beautiful, confident smile and I feel extremely happy that I chose to complete the journey with Riverdale Family Orthodontics. My first visit was only for a consultation where they assessed my teeth and talked about the services they provided. I decided to book a cleaning at a future state, and they took x-rays to make my follow-up appointment shorter. The office is pretty spacious and professionally decorated. I liked the fact there were private rooms, as opposed to an open floor plan with all patients in the same space. This is a family practice run by the Perretta family of dentists - Michael, Gina, and Connie. Gina performed my cleaning, and she did an excellent job. She was thorough, professional, and offered me a lot of support when it came to my oral care. The office staff is also great - they are accessible via phone and email, and utilize texting services for appointment reminders/confirmations which I'm always a fan of. They also provide late appointment times some nights of the week which is great for me and my work schedule. Had an appointment this morning for 9 am. I arrived at the doctor's office at 9:03 am. Tanisha asked if okay and I said no that the person who just called me was rude and not even an apology or acknowledgment of the situation was addressed. The receptionist proceeded to tell me she wasn't rude and then rolled her eyes. My family and I have been with this establishment for years even before Dr. FINELY decided to open the adult side. After an unpleasant experience at a dental office fairly close to home, I hadn't been to the dentist for 3 years. My office visit with RCD was superb! The consultation with Dr. Kahane was informative, casual, and pleasant.
