    Seared Ahi Bowl
    Renee L.

Food was very fresh. Start with the seared ahi bowl. Spice rub has a little kick. Could eat that EVERYDAY! Our server Me (spell?) was very friendly. They have a river if you will, that you can select rolls from so that was kind of fun. Also a menu and sushi bar.

    Sushi along the conveyer belt.

Friends brought us to iSushi and it was so good, I had to come back after a recent visit to the Issaquah Farmers Market. iSushi has a conveyer belt model, you pick your plates off the conveyer belt and pay based on the plates you took. Different plates have different colors, and the colors indicate the price. Another advantage of this model is that you can be seated and start eating pretty quickly, so unless you're looking or waiting for a particular item, it's pretty fast. I also like that the portions on each plate are small (3-4 pieces of a roll, or 2-3 pieces of sashimi), so you can try a few different items rather than one big plate for the same price at other sushi places. I particularly like the salmon sashimi. My husband's favorite is the salmon belly which is very rich and melts in your mouth. All of the sushi is very fresh and everyone checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. If there's a particular item you want that isn't on the conveyer belt, you can ask for it and they will try to accommodate you.

Extremely Disappointing - Burnt Baked Mussels We were really excited to try the baked mussels here, but what we got was a total disaster. The mussels were completely burnt, to the point they smelled like they had been set on fire. It was honestly shocking that they would serve something like that. I even have a photo to show just how bad it was. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, and we couldn't even eat the dish. Definitely won't be coming back.

Food was pretty good but the place is SILENT. As someone who has a naturally loud speaking voice I was not exactly comfortable here since it was so quiet. Overall the place was cute but it was not busy there were maybe 3 other parties in the establishment which added to the awkward silence.

Seared salmon nigiri special and issaquah roll! Soooo good!!

Wow I got the food to go and was amazed at how delicious the rolls were! I got the seared salmon nigiri special and the issaquah roll - came out to $14.99 and soooo good! It was probably the best tasting and freshest sushi I've ever had and I've been to Japan too!

It's a revolving belt that moves. Easy to order based on plate prices. All of the rolls looked fresh. You could also order off a menu accessed through a QR code. Service was friendly too. It helped that my lunch partner had been here before and the guy making sushi knew her. He kept chatting it up with her so it was easy to order a rainbow roll when I didn't see one on the conveyor belt. The miso soup was hot and good. Nothing crazy good but sufficient for my craving. Friendly vibe and atmosphere here. Clean and fun. Not like the other reviews I read. The lady taking orders for drinks and menu items did seem serious but she was not unfriendly. Almost forgot! The ginger was so good! Fresh and crispy with a slight spice. Perfect palate cleanser between bites. Solid, affordable lunch spot. The rolls crunchy asparagus roll, 10/10, Rainbow roll, 8/10, a bit too much rice but fresh. Crunchy shrimp roll, 9/10, Miso soup, 8/10 Price point- 10/10! Happy Yelping!

My favorite place for a quick and yummy dinner. The sushi is fresh and the selection is vast. I recently started ordering more menu only items. Great for salads and larger portion meals.

I haven't been back here for a while because I haven't been in the area but I went in today when I went to Costco they open at 11:30 which I think is a little late for lunch. There were other cars coming and going as well as mine. The restaurant wasn't very busy. I believe the husband is behind the counter, making sushi with two other guys and the wife is waiting on tables. I wish there was somebody else waiting on tables because she didn't really come around.

$6.75 for a roll with imitation Krab??
    Morgan N.

Meh. My nigiri smelled a bit fishy and prices were really high. Most of the $5, $6 plates were rolls with imitation krab. None of the lowest cost plates were on the belt. Felt like a ripoff. Didn't come to check on us. They didn't even offer to refill our drinks.

Do not order the shrimp yakisoba. Comes with 3 small shrimps and taste like ketchup. The sushi on belt are all made very sloppy.

Very good place to eat. The workers are kind, and the ambiance is good, but could be better. Workers really make the place special though.

Zushi Sushi is somewhere in between. I would not say to a Seattle person to purposely drive there. But I will say to folks nearby that it's a worthy restaurant. The place is neat and tidy, not showing its age yet, even though I know it has been opened for years. The service is swift and to-the-point. I am fairly certain this place is Japanese owned. Prices are fairly reasonable without the common 'Eastside tax'. I often find older restaurants to be more reasonably prices due to lower overhead. The Food: Avocado Bomb, $10 - 3.5 Stars Other than a bit too covered with tempura bits, this dish met expectations. The price matches what I have seen in Seattle. Salmon Belly (Sake Toro) Nigiri, $7 - 4.5 Stars Good cut and good white fatty stripes for sake toro. Thumbs up. Lion King, $15 - 4 Stars Menu: California with seared salmon on top and parmesan aioli, unagi sauce, scallion With these type of specialty rolls, presentation is as important as the ingredients, combination, and creativity. This roll as the best out of the three we ordered. Zushi Flower, $19 - 3 Stars Menu: Shrimp tempura, avocado, spicy tuna with seared salmon on top, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, parmesan aioli, and kaiware, red tobiko on top This specialty roll did not at all look like the photo. At $19, it's the most expensive amongst their rolls. Disappointing. The ingredients and taste were fine. It didn't warrant the Zushi namesake, and I don't see 'flower' in its presentation. Cherry Blossom, $15 - 2.5 Stars Menu: salmon, avocado, cucumber, and tuna on top This roll was the most 'man-handled' looking roll amongst the three we ordered. It also did not look like the photo. In one of the pieces, I spitted out a brown piece of something. It turned out to be the tip of the avocado. They graciously offered to take it off the check or make a new roll. Grilled Hamachi Kama, $14 - 2 Stars This was a very dull and boring hamachi kama. Not much seasoning, not much sear, the skin is not crispy, yet the fish is overcooked to the point of being dense. Tempura Oreo, freebie We were gifted a tempura Oreo. Interesting and pretty, but not something I would order. No rating. I wish Yelp would do half stars. I think they are a solid 3.5 Stars. Not enough 'good' happened (other than the comp'd roll) for me to bump them up to a 4 Stars.
