So I recently came here on Wednesday and I seen this place before back in Arizona never tried to until I moved here and I got seated right away got water. The guy I have was very nice. I've been to this location multiple times and always get the Spicy Chicken Ramen. Its a must try. The only feedback I would give the team is about their main door. My husband ordered the JINYA tonkotsu black for $20 and I got the chicken yuzu shio delight for $20. The prices are higher than other places by a dollar or two. We asked low sodium for both bowls, and his was fine. Mine barely had any yuzu taste. The soup also wasn't very refreshing like the one from kizuki. The portion wasn't particularly big to reflect the $1 or $2 difference from other places either, so it was quite disappointing. I think the vegan ramen I had last time was much better, and this one just made me never want to come back again. I guess I will go elsewhere for shio ramen, such as kizuki or santouka. Overall the dining experience was fine, we finished eating in less than 30 minutes and the ramen came out fast as they don't usually have much business before noon on weekdays. However, the waiter gave us the bill but never checked on us even though I put down my cc right in front of his face. Been to Jinya probably around 5 times now and it's always been good! Just a good place with good ramen and lots of parking space. We moved from Las Vegas to Southern WA and Jinya was our go to spot for so long, so it's become a real treat when we find ourselves far enough north to get it. The food was soooo good. The creamy vegan broth (I sub my pork broth for it) is killer. And whatever sauce they're using on the salmon don is mouthwatering good. Late review but this little restaurant is nice when you walk in the ambiance sets the vibe and the smells sets the mood lol. Came here with my wife and brother in law and we all were craving some ramen on a cold day so this spot definitely hit the spot. We came just in time for happy hour which is nice because we were able to try the Jinya Buns and Crispy Chicken to pair with the ramen for a great price. We ordered 2 Tonkotsu Spicy, 1 Yuzu Shio Delight, 3 Jinya Buns & 1 Crispy Chicken (Karaage) Everything was delicious and fresh, came out fast and presented nicely in the nice tall bowls to protect you from the broth a bit when slurping and eating the noods haha. The jinya buns were really good! Hard to find fresh and tender pork belly buns like that on the fly so this is restaurant is definitely one of my go-to's because that's on the happy hour menu. We were craving hot ramen on a cold night and decided to try Jinya Ramen Bar in Bellevue. We ordered the Tonkotsu Black Ramen and Spicy Chicken Ramen. The Tonkotsu Black Ramen was perfect--piping hot with steam rising from the noodles, exactly how ramen should be served. Unfortunately, the Spicy Chicken Ramen was lukewarm at best and lacked that comforting heat. When we brought this to our server's attention, she offered to "heat it up"--in a microwave. Microwaving fresh ramen? With delicate noodles, soft-boiled egg, and fresh ingredients? Unbelievable. Frustrated, we requested another Black Ramen instead. The server seemed annoyed but complied. However, her attitude soured the experience even more. When she returned to check on us, her demeanor was far from apologetic or helpful. Instead of trying to make it right, she seemed inconvenienced by our simple request. Ramen should arrive hot--it's a basic expectation. Microwaving it is never a solution. This experience left us with a bad taste (literally and figuratively), and the service here was sorely lacking. Some people just aren't cut out for customer service. read more

This is based off of ordering takeout vs dining in. We ordered a tonkotsu ramen, wonton ramen, and chicken chashu ramen. The noodles were dry, prepackaged, and stuck together. The wontons tasted like prepackaged microwave wonton. The wonton wrap fell apart easily and the meat inside was compacted and tasted a bit odd. My friends noted that the chashu and tonkotsu broth was too salty and reminded them of instant noodles. The one friend that has dined here before said that the dining experience is much different than ordering takeout. Taste and quality dont match. With that, I will give JINYA another try dining in. The first time I ate at a Jinya Ramen Bar was a year ago in Vancouver, BC. It was so good my friend and I ate there twice in a week. For my cousin's birthday, I took him here for his birthday dinner. Compared to the Jinya Ramen Bar in Vancouver, BC I have to say this place is a lot more low keyed. I got the Jinya Tonkotsu Black instead of the original because the waitress said the original had a thicker richer broth (ie saltier). I think I made the right choice since the Spicy Chicken Ramen was way too thick and salty for my taste and the Tonkotsu Black was just right. Came here on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm with some friends. There was only 5 other parties in the restaurant so service was quick.
