With this stop it was Autumn weather and some hot soup with a kick sounded great. I got the Spicy Miso Ramen soup which was fantastic! It hit the spot and was good and spicy as the name implied. It tasted fresh and all of the ingredients were very flavorful as one would hope. I can't recall exactly what soup Steve got but it was less spicy considerably but still quite good... another Ramen type of soup. Its been years since I last reviewed this place and coming back after a while, this place still is one of my favorites. My friends and I were craving ramen and I suggested Arashi Ramen. On a busy Saturday, in a very small restaurant (approx. 10 tables) we waited for about 25 min during lunchtime. The service was great and servers continually stopped by to check on things. I had the pictured ramen (delicious & perfect portion size) and also some Karage Chicken, which I demolished before remembering to take a picture. I ordered pick up because I wasn't feeling well. For the reviews it has I guess I need to dine in if I come again. Out of all the ramen places I have placed pick up orders, this place needs to step up their to-go containers. Very difficult to eat ramen from a tall cylindrical container. I didn't have a bowl handy since I was visiting the city. The ramen liquid was lukewarm warm and I came right at the delivery time stated on the order to wear it did not cook my noodles thoroughly. The pork belly was essentially all fatty and no meat. Very basic ramen (noodles, 3 pieces of pork belly, egg, green onion, seaweed) for the price. No utensils or napkins at all with my order. Again, being an out of towner this was inconvenient but luckily my hotel had spare utensils I was able to acquire. The karaage was so salty I couldn't eat but one of them. First time here for late lunch on a cold wet Saturday. I got the spicy miso ramen, hot spicy level. I grew up eating spicy food, and this is definitely hot but still manageable.
