This is how they charge: $5 for 3 sides, $12 for 5 and $15 for 7. Fish, mac and cheese pay separately. Im not too good remembering prices, anyhow after $12 for 5 sides I asked for a slide of salmon fish and mac cheese. Total is $24 They accept credit card and apple pay. Personally i think its a bit overprice in this neighborhood. But food taste good

I've been procrastinating for a while.... I finally gave this place a (2nd) try. A couple years back I got a meal from here, it contained lentils I think but I don't remember much else. Last night I decided to stop in and grab dinner, being that it's on my way home. From the street you can see people sitting in the window, HAPPILY handling the food just purchased and as you enter the establishment you can smell why. This place smells like home cooked food. I haven't eaten (what I consider) healthy in too long so I had to take my time with the dinner selection. I went with the rice and peas (spinach rice also available), red beans, kale, and blue snapper. Lets put this in the open. I am a born and raised (til age 14) Trinbagonian and I have grown up eating fish/veggies/ground provision/etc but it has been way too long since I got my hands on fish that taste this good. I mean, even the carrots slices that accompanied the fish were amazing. For those who enjoy currant rolls, they have that available near the register. Funny how it's the lil things that really takes an experience from great to amazing. I'm huge on cleanliness and great service, especially when food is involved. The forks provided are in a plastic packaging.... small to you but that's a big deal to me. The staff was knowledgeable and gave advice to people who couldn't decide... small to you but huge deal to me. The place was spotless and I saw someone in the back keeping it that way.... again, might be small to you but that was/is huge to me. Atmosphere: 5/5 (very Caribbean feel) Price: 4/5 (The price caught me off guard but good food cost a lil more) Food: 5/5 (delicious, hot, and FULL of flavor) Cash and credit accepted, though there is a card minimum.

This place is really good I got hooked on eating from here because of my coworker so I finally decided to get my own meal one day. Think vegan/ vegetarian food but with a Trini twist on it. I usually eat the beets callaloo, pumpkin spinach and sometimes soy chunks so I switched it up and got the macaroni pie and soy chunks. I had the soy chunks before and I believe it was bbq this time I got stewed. I'm not a big fan of stewed anything but if you are the flavor is definitely on point. What I like about here is everything is seasoned soo good you won't even remember your not eating meat or missing it. I would definitely recommend!

Tastes better than it looks !

Just had the best meal in months from here . Never knew eating vegan/vegetarian was this good . Easily the best vegetarian spot I've ever been to . This place is very generous with their portions . You get to choose 5,7 or 9 options . 5 option container would run you ten dollars . I just had the fake duck aka bean curd , Mac and cheese , callaloo , red beans , spinach rice and mixed veggies . Everything was 10/10 so no sense in getting into minute details. Planning my second trip as I wrap up this concise review actually .

What you can see is noodles, rice, kale and soy

Holy soy! Wow! Absolutely Floored. Floored. Yelp is tough because you tend to review places you either really love or really hate so, I feel like I tend to review places I really love but it has been a long time since I've found a place that I love so much, I feel as though all my five star reviews need to go down a star because Ital Fusion has set the bar. Shredded Soy, Some other kind of Soy, Some other kind of sweeter Soy (I think), Noodles, Rice, Okra, Chickpea and Kale. All on a to go tray that was almost impossible to carry home (on my bicycle) because of how heavy it was. I got home and the food just kept reappearing out of nowhere. I mean - I would eat enough rice that a bit more chickpea would pop up from underneath. When I got through enough of the noodles, all of a sudden some kale came out of nowhere. I also mentioned I rode home on my bicycle, full kit (which means skin tight spandex from head to toe) and neon green. And click clack clipless shoes. So that is quite the sight to witness! So much so that when I stopped by Ital Fusion last week on my typical Wednesday night cycling kit and was sad that they were closed =[, I was greeted this week with a "sorry you couldn't make it in time last week" How awesome is that! It is tough to find a place in NYC in which the people running the shop remember you, let alone if you only go there once a week. Chapeau to you my friend! Peace and Love.

Heavenly medley! This here is black eyed peas, mixed vegetables, soy chunks, topped with teriyaki salmon! YUM!!

PEACE! Man oh man I don't even know where to start! So I'm with a friend of mine right (Kashif again) and he decides to make a stop for food before dropping me home. I'm all frustrated that I can't just go straight home. He pulls up to Ital Fusion and the title of the restaurant immediately caught my attention. If you're not familiar, ital is a term that refers to the vegan diet of Rastafarians although some choose to also consume fish. I'm thinking, "hey, as much as you're into healthy eating, why not walk in!?". Best advice I've ever given myself haha. Upon entry I'm immediately greeted by a positive and warm energy from the gentleman behind the glass. Upon gazing through the glass I notice the umpteen varieties of food and vegetables that were present. I mean you name it from kale to black eyed peas, to soy chunks, mixed steam vegetables and so on! I tell him that I'm interested in the glazed looking salmon in the window and that it's my first time. He gave me one look and says, "well, then I have to take care of'ya!". Almost by default it's as if I told him I was a long lost brother or something. He went straight to work in giving me a pretty hefty plate filled with an assortment of heaven topped off with the fish and gave me a "good price". It didn't hurt that he had a cool name like Royalty as well! While being served, another brotha by the name of Sean comes out who introduces himself as the Chef and I thought, "man, does this place have great energy!" Sean smiling with a sense of gratification that a new customer walks in, began to have a brief chat with me about the importance of healthy eating. He then concisely ran down a list of cool everyday dishes that he's managed to make just as tasty if not more delicious by substituting certain ingredients with healthier alternatives. It was a quick lesson and it also didn't hurt that he gave me a sample or two to try as well while Executive Chef Brian Lawrence was making a peanut concoction (man was it good!!!) Upon digging my fork into my plate I knew I was doing my body a favor! The flavors and the satiating, but not sluggish feeling I felt was unbelievable! I'm having a delicious meal all the while it being healthy, totally dispelling the myth that healthy eating compromises flavor! These guys here have done it and done it well! I was ecstatic to find out that they also have another location! I'll tell you one thing! This experience has hands down won me over as a new customer!

    What are their Vegan options?

The best vegetarian and vegan food I've ever had in my life (and it's HEALTHY). It's hard to find a place with healthy and tasty food. Their menu rotates, approximately every 3 hours there's something new. You could never go wrong coming here and I…

I also appreciated how clean and open the place was. I ended up going with the jungle fever option. It was nice and fruity and the ginger gave it a great kick. However, one thing I do enjoy about the area is The Love Spread & Juice Café at 9106 Flatlands Avenue. I love their açaí bowls--especially the Cocoa Love and Nutella ones, which are classic Nutella-based bowls and always well-made. It takes about 13 minutes for them to prepare because they make everything from scratch, and the customer service has always been great. Surprisingly, it's never busy there, even though it's located right across from the gym. If you're looking for a smoothie, shake, or bowl, it's a great option. I always go for the bowls, and I've been coming here since around 2021. I highly recommend it--it's one of the best juice spots in Flatlands. I also love the mural on the wall featuring Obama, Biggie, and Maya Angelou. What I appreciate most is that it's Black-owned. The space is colorful, vibrant, and welcoming. Another great thing about this spot is that it's a healthier alternative to most options in the area. They actually have two sections--one for smoothies and açaí bowls, and another with a hot grill and salad bar. If you're looking for a fresh, nutritious meal, this is a solid choice. Expect to spend around $20, but in my opinion, it's worth it.

I was in need of a smoothie and this place popped up in the search right near the 2/5 Flatbush Avenue trainstation. The place is not small but definitely not for sitting and enjoying your options as there is no seating at all. There are the public chairs on Hillel place under the colorful umbrella installation in front but I would imagine it wouldn't be as popular in the winter. So I would categorize this as a place for students and workers to grab something quick. Overall they have many items on their menu in different categories. Poke, fried chicken bites and açaí bowls for eating. They have bubble tea, juices and smoothies. It is reflected on the many menus they have inside. However, it gets confusing due to the amount of menus plus all the revisions they make (tape covering no longer available items , and post its /marker to add new things to menu posters/screens).. not the worst but something to keep in mind. I ordered a medium Passion Jupiter smoothie (passionfruit and mango) & added yogurt as a base and flax seed. Without the yogurt it would be iced base. It was around 9 dollars which is fine because I have paid more for worse smoothies. They gave me the overflow of the smoothie that couldn't fit in my medium cup which was nice of them. Overall the smoothie was well mixed and I was happy because I don't usually get passionfruit as a smoothies. I would go back here for smoothies for sure and maybe to try the açaí bowls.
