    FRIED CALAMARI
    Giliane L.

My first time there and it was so nice . The bartenders were nice and kept interacting with everyone . It is definitely a vibe in there . We tried the Pepperoni Pizza , Fried Calamari , and Shrimp Spiedini And the espresso martini? ‍SO good. Already planning my next visit because there's so much more I need to try

It was quite busy at the bar when my friend and I came for happy hour. The inside is fun and funky. We sat at the high tops at first and moved to the bar when a couple people left. I got a Miura Spritz which was refreshing and my friend got Dim the Lights. We shared the Rosso Bianco pizza and Mussels. The pizza was mild flavored but good. I did find the crusts to be hard so I didn't eat those. There weren't a lot of mussels provided but it was a good broth. The happy hour special here is quite good and I'd like to come back for another experience.

Ordered the Carno + Italian & Spicy vodka (ToGo)* a cocktail. Mid day lunch situation you know v.. Them pizzas was good as hell. & to think I almost got &Pizza I k sat in here & ate 4 slicing while my friend waited in the The flavor really really marries well The bar was super chill Cause you never know who you're gonna see in the neighborhood around here. You can still come in here very cute low key (Marshall's, outlet situation fit & be fine.

I would give this spot a 3.5. I came here for happy hour. Service was great. Attentive and friendly folks. It's also pretty vibes in there. The pizza was 10 bucks and it fed 3 people with 2 slices each. I would say it was worth it but it was not the most delicious pizza. Got mussels and calamari as well. I would say the mussels were pretty good honestly, and the calamari was alright. I would pass if I came again. I like calamari with another type of sauce and they did not offer it, but it was also not the crispiest. I would not go out of my way or think to come here again, but would not mind to come back here.

My husband and I split a chicken cheesesteak. The bread was crunchy and had sesame seeds on top.

My husband and I liked this place despite going in with somewhat low expectations. The ambiance was fun with disco remixes and favorites playing loudly and a cute retro bar vibe. Each table also had a fresh rose in a vase. Our waiter was polite and friendly and the service was fast. My husband and I split a large NY style pizza with plenty to take home to the kids and a chicken cheesesteak with fries. Italian Disco was a perfect, casual fit for a cold night waiting to pick up our teenagers from a movie. We will be back.

I came here for happy hour and it was a decent experience overall, but average. GLOWS: - I enjoyed the chicken cheesesteak. They have minimal toppings, but the bread was very soft and good. -I enjoyed the HH wings, although the there only 4 of them for $9, which is hardly a deal. -James was a good server and worked to get us everything we needed. - I enjoyed the disco music playing. It was very on brand. GROWS: -I did not enjoy the Caesar salad

$16 for a slab of spaghetti and a singular meatball....sheesh. You can find better value up the street in Little Italy

Italian Disco is a mosh posh gem in the touristy Baltimore area. Heavy on the Italian options. Happy hour is only at the bar. I was seated with a large party and the waiters were super attentive with getting our orders in. The decor was...like someone's grandpa's basement threw up in the dining area lol it was genuinely a disco with Italian food (a whole juke box and all). The food: I had their pizza and it was LEGIT. Loved it. Nice and crispy with a little soft bite to it. Not too much cheese but the hot sausage had a great flavor to it as well. This wouldn't be my top spot to go back to in Baltimore but I'd recommend it if you really need a bite in the area.

This is the only place to be if you end up having a few drinks at Elk room next door. Saw a lot of people from Elk room coming over to dine in/take out. We ordered the 12" Diavolo to go and oh gosh was it spicy but bursting with flavor!!! Super quick service as well!

I ordered the carni pizza here. It was okay, but not as good as I was hoping. The crust was not very tasty and was a bit bland and hard. However another person I was with ordered the blackened penne fettuccine and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. The service was okay. I think the fact that we were the only ones outside might account for less waiter visits to our table. We were there for lunch so maybe going later in the day might be better. Next time I visit Baltimore, I will most likely try pizza elsewhere. If you like pasta, I hear it is good here though.

Happy Hour may be held from 4-7 every day, but it's only available at the bar, which sucked for us because we had a party of 8 adults and a child, and therefore needed several tables. A party of this size could have really used the discount of Happy Hour prices. We celebrated a pizza-loving friend's birthday. The restaurant was pretty much empty at 6pm on a Sunday, which I did not expect. The outdoor patio seemed to be more popular, but there are two small steps, and I am a wheelchair user. Our server was great, and the vibe for the gathering was wonderful. The food was a bit hit or miss, though. The wings were hammered. The sauce was fantastic, but the bleu cheese could have been better. The wings were overcooked and left stringy bits of meat stuck in my teeth. Apparently the chicken in one pasta dish a friend ordered was also overcooked and dry. Jeremy was wildly upset that his shrimp po'boy ($19: pepperoncini, garlic aioli, shredded lettuce) came with shredded lettuce, but he seemed to enjoy it once he scraped the lettuce off. I had the Duck & papaya pizza ($18 | 27 bbq sauce* duck confit, smoked mozzarella, feta, red onions, cilantro, papaya-ancho sauce). I thought I would share with my more adventurous eaters, so I got the large, which was a mistake. I ended up taking half of the pizza home because it was... well... flavorless and maybe one of the most disappointing pizzas in my life. Those ingredients should have been a symphony in my mouth, but the toppings were so sparse that they never met. And the pickled red onions were the only item with any flavor. I think caramelized onions would work better here, but when you say something is going to have duck on it, there should be duck. There were miniscule slivers of meat, that I suppose was duck, but it didn't taste like anything. And I don't understand calling it a duck and PAPAYA pizza when the papaya is in the sauce, which I didn't notice because the raw onions were like HEEEYYYYYY!!! ONIONS!!! all over my tastebuds. Two guys ordered small pepperoni pizzas, and seemed to enjoy those. The birthday boy ate all of his. I think Aimee got the goat & honey pizza ($16 | 25 white * goat cheese, housemade mozzarella, shaved red onions, pistachio, truffe honey). She sat all the way at the opposite end of the table, so I'm not quite sure if that's what it was... I spied something that could have been a seed or a nut on the slice I traded her for... whatever she ordered I liked it a lot more than the duck and papaya pizza I ordered. It was a great time, but that was because of the service and people, not because of the food.

Late night. Out in Baltimore. Everything is closed. Walk into this spot. Nice menu. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Good food. Got New York pizza. Great. Fresh cheese. Basil. Loved it. Got salad with shrimp. Fresh. And delicious. Great place for late night carry out or dine in.

Italian Disco is an absolute gem tucked over by the harbor in East Baltimore. The vibe hits you as soon as you walk in--fun, energetic, and just the right amount of cozy. The staff couldn't be friendlier; everyone we interacted with made the place feel warm and welcoming. The food? Fantastic. It's a great little Italian joint with big flavor. The pizza was the star of the show--perfectly crispy, great sauce, and loaded with flavor. It's the kind of pie you keep thinking about long after you leave. Whether you're grabbing a casual bite or meeting up with friends, Italian Disco is definitely worth a stop. Highly recommend!

I could not get enough of the beautiful view. I was slightly kicking myself for not taking a sunrise timelapse video. Upon checking in, my girlfriend and I took a quick tour of the lobby and the bar upstairs. We opted to grab a cup of coffee at Formula Espresso (the coffee shop/convenience store in the lobby). They use Illy espresso beans which are some of my favorite. We each ordered latte's and they were delicious. Formula Espresso also has a small wine selection, we picked up a bottle so we could have a drink in our room before dinner while taking in the incredible view. While we were touring the hotel, someone stopped by and dropped off some chocolates which paired perfectly with the bottle of red we picked up and it made for a great pre-dinner snack. The hotel restaurant is called Explorers Lounge and it has a bit of a safari feel to it which matches the global feel of the menu. We started with apps and shared the Thai Chicken Tower which had the most delightful peanut sauce. I'm a sucker for peanut sauce and I couldn't get enough of this dish. We also tried the Sonesta Grilled Beef Turnover which I think was my favorite bite of the evening. The grilled steak was griddled in a tortilla with onions and cheese and served with a creamy, spicy sauce. It was a great way to start the meal. For our entrees, my girlfriend went with the Steak Diane. The grilled sirloin was served with onions and tomatoes over a creamy risotto. This was the ultimate steak dinner and she loved every bite. I ordered the Grilled Crusted Pacific Salmon. The dish was so fresh and light and I was crazy about the citrus butter sauce. Another great dish. After dinner, we enjoyed some of the chocolates that the hotel sent over and the bottle of wine we picked up. We also filled out the room service breakfast card because there truly is nothing better than breakfast in bed. I did make it a point to wake up early to catch the sunrise over the harbor which was truly stunning. When breakfast came, it was a delicious spread of all of our breakfast favorites. We decided to share a little bit of everything. It was all delicious but the French Toast really satisfied my sweet tooth. After breakfast, unfortunately it was time to check out. I'm already planning my next trip back to soak in the beautiful views and sample more of their delicious food.

We order the turkey club, hush puppies, cream of crab soup, the charcuterie board, fries, and fried oysters to share. The turkey club was the star of the show. We immediately asked the hostess for a different table. She told as that the three booths and the six other two-tops were all reserved. She left us with no attempt at an apology and promptly put reserved signs on all the open tables. When we left an hour later, one booth and 4 two-tops had never been used. Much to our dismay, we saw people seated outside even though we had received a text before arriving saying the patio was closed for the evening. To add insult to injury, even half empty, the noise level was so uncomfortable since everything was tile, marble, or wood that the alarm sensor on my smart watch sounded because of the decibel level. We will not be back.
