Rip-off billing method!
Travis M.

The food was ok, service was adequate. The ambiance could be better - it is way too bright in there. Pizza is not as a good as it used to be. The biggest frustration was their method for billing at the end of the meal!! Total of food / drinks PLUS 20% Tip (despite it being here, it was calculated using the taxes in the sub-total - cranking up the tip) Taxes Taxes Total Additional Tip Total No line for adjusting the tip down from 20% if it wasn't deserved (it wasn't).

Pepperoni slice

Stopped in for a slice and a soda. Quick and easy ordering for takeout from the display counter. Lots of seating near the fountain. Delicious pizza with crispy pepperonis.

Perfectly cooked & crispy wings

Used to come here a ton when I was younger and had date nights here when I first met my wife years ago when we came to watch the train gardens during the Christmas holiday. Needless to say the pizza is still as good as I remember it and the wings are phenomenal! If you just want something quick and simple / delicious Italian Gardens has truly held up over the years and continues to make wonderful memories for me and my family!

Pizza & fried pickles

I was very happily surprised by how good the food is here! They have the absolute best fried pickles - very crispy breading with a delicious dill based dipping sauce. The pizza was delicious as well!

Eggplant Parm Sub w/ coleslaw
Randy L.

This was my first time trying Italian Gardens in Kenilworth. I decided to stop by before work one day. I got both the eggplant parmigiana sub and a medium cheese pizza. The pizza was flavorful, nice and hot. I liked the eggplant parm sub as well. There was just the right ratio of bread to eggplant. The sub however was not as hot as the pizza. Due to me being on a time crunch, I wasn't going to make a big deal of it. The food tasted good though; I will be giving them another visit soon. I want to try other menu items. I would give it 3.5 stars. I got my food in a timely manner and prices were good for portion received.

Portobello flatbread with marinara

Stopped here after class on a whim. I kinda wanted pizza but you know sometimes that can feel heavy so I tried the portobello flatbread. It was pretty good.

Cheese slices
Shelly B.

I usually grab a slice or 2 on my trips to Trader Joe's. I find their sauce to be sweeter, which is what I personally prefer. The crust is typically light and airy. Is it the best pizza in the area? No. But it's not bad. $6.50 for those 2 slices. It's grab and go style and they have a few tables in the middle of the gallery. More of a food court type of vibe.

Best place to take kids. You can order pizza and chicken tenders, then sit by the fountain. The people at the counter are kind and quick.

What is this hidden gem? We lived in Manhattan for 10 years and this might be the best NY style slice we've had in Baltimore. Lit

Best non-chain pizza in Baltimore, my style and deep dish. I think they put white wine in the sauce.

Liberatore's Ristorante - Garlic Dip

Went to Liberatore's in Timonium last night. It was crowded as it was a Friday night. The fried…read morecalamari was perfectly cooked and lightly fried but not greasy. The lasagna was a huge piece! Tasted like my Italian grandmom made it with care. Service was just ok. Our drinks ran dry once which is a big no no. The waitress seemed stressed and was rushing around. Everything was excellent aside from the service. May have been an off night or they may have been short staffed. We will definately return soon!!!

As an original New Yorker, Italian food is a staple for me, so my standards are high. Based on the…read morereviews I read, I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it really missed the mark. The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is clean, but the experience went downhill quickly. It started with the service: the waitress backing up our table literally pulled the menus out of our hands so fast we couldn't even tell which pasta came with our dishes. We had to stop her to ask, and because we were rushed, we ended up with angel hair instead of the penne we wanted. For appetizers, the dip was delicious, but the Dynamite Shrimp felt like a cheap knockoff of a well-known chain's version. For dinner, I had the Veal Parmigiana. The veal itself was cooked well and had great flavor, but the sauce was... weird. I couldn't put my finger on what was different about it, but it wasn't my favorite. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which was a total disaster--dry, flavorless, and inedible. I actually ended up giving her some of my veal just so she had something decent to eat. The ending was the most off-putting part. After we sent the chicken back, the waiter told us the manager wanted to "offer us dessert" for the trouble. We chose two to-go (heading to Magooby's Joke House), but when the bill came, the desserts were charged! When I asked why, the waiter said, "My manager said to remove the chicken parm cost, he didn't say to remove the dessert." Why "offer" something if you expect payment? It felt deceptive. He eventually removed the charge but didn't say a word when he dropped the receipt, and the manager never came over. Between the rushing, the weird sauce, and the awkward service, we won't be back.

I didn't really get much here but I did enjoy it here!!…read more Staff was so nice and vibe was chill. The spritz was amazing and the anchovies were nice and citrusy and bright as were the olives. If I was hungrier I would've loved to try their pasta.

Long review incoming but the hostess was extremely rude. Also, check your bill because they throw…read morestuff on that doesn't belong. Upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised to see that no one was waiting despite the holiday weekend. I asked the hostess for a table for 2 and she said it wouldn't be too long of a wait but offered the bar if we wanted to eat immediately. I don't find the bar comfortable and my companion was parking so I said we'd wait. After about 2 mins 2 young ladies arrive and she offers them the bar but before doing that makes sure we still don't want to eat at the bar. I confirm for a second time that we want a table. Meanwhile, a couple leaves and I see the hostess go over to another couple at the bar who were not on the list and say "I don't usually do this but since your both here if you want a table I have one." Kind of rude especially since by her own admission they don't do this but my companion was still parking and I figured maybe she was spreading some valentines cheer so I said nothing. About 5 minutes later a group of 3 arrive and she offers them the bar seats which they also decline. She puts them on the list under my name and in the meantime says if I want to sit at the bar while waiting that's fine. My companion and I decide to take a seat there since she had suggested this and we didn't want to be in the way. At this point the hostess start giving us place setting and menus and I reiterated for a THIRD time that we wanted a table. She replied oh well you might not have time and ran off. Another 5 minutes goes by and I see a party of 3 leaving. Knowing we're next on the list I start to gather my stuff only to see the hostess cross my name off the list and run outside to the wine bar to grab the people below us on the list. When I stop her and remind her we want a table she gets an extremely nasty tone and starts arguing with me that I said a bar seat would be fine. She knew damn well we did not agree to that. After being caught red handed, instead of apologizing to me and the other party and rectifying the situation she dug in and berated me and said it doesn't matter anyway because this is a three seater and proceeded to seat them over us. After waiting an additional 15 minutes we got a seat next to the kitchen where I had a view of 2 other couples sitting at 3 seaters.. Guess that rule was just for my partner and I. Mind you this was to celebrate my birthday and valentines so it stung extra to be treated in such a manner. After all of that, we caught the restaurant putting Carpaccio di Manzo on our bill which, we did not order. The waitress fixed it and barely offered an apology. The bartender was the best part of this experience, she was kind, knowledgeable, and seemed to enjoy her job. She even came over as we were leaving to thank us for our patronage and seemed to be cognizant of terribly we were treated. 5 yelp stars for her! As for the food, I'd give it 4 stars. It was good but the vodka and baccala sauces seemed to be missing something.
