Once I asked for mild banana peppers as a topping and received chili peppers. When I explained the issue, they said they didn't even inventory the peppers I wanted. Between this issue and their policy of charging someone the full price for a topping when you only want the topping on half the pizza, I decided to only order plain pizzas from them. No more toppings. I can overlook some things because of the pizza quality, however, that changed this week they served me a pizza that was badly burnt. I never thought to check before leaving the store, since this previously wasn't an issue. I was really hungry so I scraped cheese off and some non-burnt crust. The next day I returned and showed the lady what I was served. I would have expected someone to apologize and say they'd make it right. I wasn't going to beg for a new pizza that was cooked properly, and since my IMPRESSION was that the server could care less, I said that she could have it and walked away. Seriously, how can the man who made the pizza serve it to a customer? It's protocol to look at the bottom of the pizza before pulling it out. How could anyone not see the black bottom? I sincerely hope they can get their act together. As for me, I'm going to focus on the pizzeria given the most positive reviews currently, instead of going with decades old accolades.

The first time I walked in for take out, the girl at the counter and the delivery guy were extremely helpful recommending menu items. It was so refreshing to hear their passion and excitement for their food offerings! Their menu is pretty well rounded, several types of burgers, chicken sandwiches, pizza's etc. It's an extensive menu. The owner, who was manning the pizza oven, was nice enough to let me try a fresh garlic knot which was very tasty! I went with a cheesesteak the first time which was on a fresh Amoroso roll. I added some hot peppers for extra flavor and kick. Second order was delivery, we had a Sicilian pizza delivered to the office. It was a solid offering. Lightly sweet sauce, fresh cheese and just the right thickness. I will have to try some of their other pizza offerings as well. Third order was a take out Cheeseburger. The 8 oz of Angus beef could have used some seasoning, but the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, hot peps, mustard and ketchup toppings helped relieve the lack of beef flavor. The brioche roll they had it on was soft, fresh and fantastic. It was big portion. They are a little out of the way for me, but worth the trip to enjoy more of their menu. Definitely check these guys out!
