This place deserves another look. I enjoyed my food very much. Slices of garlic were in the sauce along with fresh squeezed lemon, the pasta was really fresh and light and my chicken tender and cooked perfectly. Good price for the food. Surprised to see such low scores here! I have been getting takeout here for 3 years now and it's one of our go-to Italian takeout spots. I am not an easy reviewer! The portions are huge, bread is phenomenal, and the staff is always very nice and friendly. We get one entree, and an app typically for my two toddlers, husband, and I. With the bread and side salad, it's enough for us. My only gripe is that sometimes the quality is different on different days (not sure if there are different cooks sometimes). Alright. Well. Positives first. I ordered delivery through grubhub. Delivery was prompt and easy. And early. I ordered a margarita pizza and a soup. I wasn't unhappy with the taste on the pizza, the sauce tasted fresh and didn't overpower and the Buffalo mozzarella was fine. Didn't get to the soup. Negatives. There is nothing more depressing then picking up a slice of pizza and the toppings just slide off. The sauce was so runny that, it just destroyed the pizza. By the fourth slice, rolling it horizontally and vertically, nothing would keep this puppy together and the crust was so soggy. I ended up with more pizza on my dress shirt than in my mouth. Also, their online ordering made me "choose a dressing" making me think I'd be getting a salad, but none came. Would I eat here again? Maybe. But I might just go to Chipotle instead. read more

We used Enzo's for dinner after my son's graduation party. While the food truck earlier in the day was a hit. we got so many compliments on Enzo's. We had the penne alla vodka (someone said it was the best I've ever had). The meatballs and sauce were a huge hit and went fast. People took the extra sauce to freeze and use later. My sister wanted to take home the Caesar salad dressing. My only recommendation is get the croutons on the side. There are so many and they don't overnight well. Even the pizzas went. My family and I have been going to Enzo's for maybe 20 some odd years and the last few times it's been really disappointing. It's close to home and easy to pick up but it's not what it used to be. The pizza I got last time was somehow drippy yet overcooked and tasted like cardboard. My most recent order my pasta was over cooked to where the noodles were breaking/had half the sauce it's had in the past and missing items (pasta missing from chicken parm entree which wasn't as good as it used to be to begin with). I don't know if maybe there's new management, ownership or chef but we won't be back for a while which is a shame. read more

I can't believe the current rating. I absolutely believe Enzo's have the BEST pizza in all of Chester County & possibly Delaware County. Best crust, cheese and fresh toppings. My first first review! While visiting from Chicago I dined at Enzo's with two coworkers - one local and one visitor. This place is definitely a no-frills restaurant. The menu is Italian based, with pastas and pizzas, but is expansive with many other items, including salads, appetizers, hoagies, etc. I went for the Veal in red sauce with provolone cheese. Ran about $17 if I remember correctly. This is a TON of food. Comes with a very unimpressive side salad (iceberg, tomato, cucumber, carrots, onions, and my ranch dressing in a tear pack plopped on top of the salad), and also comes with a "side" of pasta, which could probably pass for a full entree it is so large. Sharing is $6, but if you and a buddy aren't that hungry or don't eat a lot, or you're not into left overs, this might be a good option because two people could easily share. BYOB Policy - Which is a plus for some. We brought in wine. I don't believe we paid a corkage fee. I assume beer is OK as well but not positive. Pepsi fountain products for drinks. Service was mediocre. This is a very tiny and friendly type place. Waitress was fairly nice (especially for greater Phila), but seemed to always want to snatch my items out from under me before I was finished with them, and went for the grab before asking. Overall I was unimpressed. The food was tasty, but not outstanding by any means. It was just very average. From what I hear all their food is great and the locals really love it. Packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Many take-out customers all week. Pizza and all other items are supposed to be good too. The prices may be just a bit high for the quality you're getting. I would rather see lower prices and less quantity. And the share charge of $6 is pretty high for a family oriented place. I agree this is a great place for locals who want a vast menu, decent take-out, and are willing to put up with the very much so no-frills environment. We have been ordering from Enzo's since we moved here over 20 years ago, but there sure has been a change. I ordered dinner tonight and when I arrived home it was nothing like I ordered. When I called to complain, I was rudely told I was mistaken, and told to take my business elsewhere. I ordered their Seafood Special, not their SPECIAL of the night. I was given the Special they had tonight, and it is frankly very unappetizing. Enzo's has lost long time customers with their disregard for common curtesy. The rudeness of the employee was unnessary, I have never dealt with a restaurant whose employees argue with a customer, and are very disagreeable. There are too many good Italian Restaurants in the area that value their patrons. Stay away they are nowhere near what they used to be, quality of food and employees unacceptable. read more

I live about one minute away and thought I would give it a try. One of my daughters doesn't like cheese on her pizza, so I asked to have one quarter of the pizza without cheese. They said they wouldn't do that. America's Pie, in downtown West Chester, does that for us every week. Seeing as America's Pie is considered the best in West Chester, I'll keep going there for family pizza. I finally did go to Enzo's for pizza for me and my other daughter since I didn't need a special order pizza. It was decent; not the best I ever had but certainly not the worst. If they were willing to accommodate my other daughter's cheese aversion, I would probably go there more often. But I can't. read more

Friendly Service and Hot Food Served Here! I visited here on Saturday afternoon at lunch, my son and I had a great experience worth sharing. Our server (Drew) was very helpful and went out of his way to get my son setup first. When my 7yo spilled his drink over the whole table (kids happen), he quickly moved us to another table without hesitation. I got an order of wings extra crispy and they came out perfect, my son had a slice of pepperoni pizza. Good hot food backed with great service. Disappointed with this Italian restaurant in that I ordered chicken parmigiana and received two identically sized pressed chicken patties. My grandmother who owned an Italian restaurant in south Philly for over 50 years is probably spinning in her grave. What a disgrace!!! The patty was able to be cut with the side of my fork. No knife required. I will be heading to their other place, Pescatores soon to see if the same plate has real chicken. Would give no stars if I could. When I asked the cashier, he stated it was the charge to "make the hoagie". Please let me know one other food service establishment that does this?
