My husband is also from NY and does not miss NY pizza anymore. The subs are crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, very tasty and are the BEST!. The double crust stuffed pizza is wonderful, something you will not forget! Their house dressing is also very memorable and the cannolli dessert is sooooooooo good. The waitress Michelle is a real doll. The prices are great and we are lucky to have this in Temple. Had a delicious lunch here yesterday. I'm from Conroe and was in Temple for a seminar, anyway used yelp to help find something good for lunch. We (me and some co-workers)chose this awesome joint based on its reviews and we were impressed. The reviews were right. We ordered a Margherita pizza and it was the best I have ever had. I didn't even know it didn't have sauce on it, that's how good it was! I ate more than I should. The crust was thin and crisp just the way I like it! This place is amazing! I went there and had a slice of their stuffed pizza because my friend recommended it boy am I glad she did! Be sure to try their pizza rolls: pepperoni or spinach your choice. Their calzones are delicious everything is made fresh. This is true authentic pizza... nothing like the frozen dough that you get from the delivery pizza places. This place was awesome!!! It's a pretty small hole in the wall type of place. The lady who took our orders was nice and pleasant. I have to start by saying that I have actually not eaten here, YET! I will be soon. I live in Belton and was ordering lunch to eat in the car line at school pick up. When I pulled up in front of the restaurant to pick up my lunch, I realized that I called Italiano's by mistake. This place was actually pretty cool! It reminded me of one of those chain pizza places in the mall. It's kinda sketchy on the outside; it's on the first floor of an old office building. The inside is a bit dark, but quaint. The staff could have been nicer. The pizza was pretty good - if you've ever had Sam's Club pizza, its a bit like that. The prices, though - they were amazing! $1.95 for a slice of cheese pizza! I got pepperoni pizza and a spinach roll (which was weird) and a drink for less then seven dollars. Fantastic pizza/Italian shop. You may find that it takes a little bit to receive your order, but that's because they are most likely making it fresh (at least in my experience)! Very delicious and authentic pizza! First of all the dough is made from scratch for their pizza and either most or all of the foods they make with dough! They use real fresh cheese and other toppings in their pizzas and some of their other products! They are working well with the space they have! Italianos how about adding online ordering on your website that would bring in additional revenue! And maybe adding another location just for deliveries and online ordering so you don't get backed up! Right now so far good with the space they have! It would be a good idea if they invest in other ideas to increase revenue and expand their service and reach! If you're in Central Texas you should really try this pizza! As close as you're going to get to New York pizza without actually going to NY. It's really amazing that there's such a good pizza place in Temple. Value is unbeatable--18 inch pizza with cheese + one topping for 9.95. The whole menu offers a great value. Stromboli and calzones are great. Pepperoni rolls are a must try. You can order single servings of pizza as well. I really see no reason to get pizza from pizza chains any longer. Try it you won't be disappointed. The pasta dishes might be best kept away from, but the subs, pizza, stromboli and calzones are surefire winners. read more

Wow! Talk about false advertising. I ordered a large New York style pizza with Canadian bacon, mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives & red onions - in other words a "Veggie" plus Canadian bacon. Instead I got a thin crust pizza with very little cheese that was smothered in some kind of chopped leafy vegetable that could have been spinach. I ordered pizza here last night online, and it told me 26 minutes for pickup. I was super busy with getting stuff done at the house and wanted delivery which they say they offer, but it wasn't available. I placed my order and even gave them some extra time and arrived 35 minutes after I placed it. Mind you it said 26 minutes till ready. After waiting in line for someone to help me for 5 minutes, I said I'm here for pickup. The guy asks my name, I told him Chris. He says he doesn't have an order for Chris, but asks if it was under a different name. I said Christopher and he then found it. I mean come on seriously, Chris and Christopher are the same name. He acted like it wasn't ready and told me it will be a few minutes. I waited an additional 25 minutes for my order. Needless to say, I am not happy about this as I was super busy and if it was going to be 55 minutes till ready their system should have said so, not tell me 26 minutes. Whether this was because my order did not get recognized and put in or they were super busy, I should have been informed. You could send a text or call and say the order will be later than expected, but this was a major inconvenience to my already super busy schedule. read more

LOVE this place!!! I have tried many items on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Let me clarify however that I never ordered a sub, or pasta from here so my review is based purely on the Pizza, Stromboli, Pepperoni Rolls, and things of the like. Though I must admit my favorite thing is the spinach rolls. I could eat them for the rest of my life, and never tire of them.
