If I could give them 0 stars I would. They have prices printed on their website and then they charge more. Then I asked for a salmon sushi roll and they gave me a salmon sushi bowl. When I got home I called and the owner told me to bring the bowl back - I didn't for health code reasons and it was way out of my way. He would not refund my $13 and told me "you don't like my food, don't come here anymore". Do not eat at this place...they may be repurposing food that they messed up on. Beware.

The restaurant had a clean environment with a dark, moody ambiance. We stopped by around 11:30 AM on a Tuesday. I was craving ramen, so I knew exactly what I wanted, while my husband, a bodybuilder, was looking for a high-protein meal. We asked the waitress if the orange chicken had a good portion of protein, and she assured us it did. I ordered the Chicken Ramen, and my husband went with the Orange Chicken. When the food arrived, the orange chicken portion was large, but unfortunately, it was mostly breading with very little actual chicken--definitely disappointing. My husband brought it up to the waitress, and she seemed to acknowledge the issue as if it was a known problem. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, especially given the misleading recommendation.

This Itoko is one of Sushi restaurants where serve "Cooked Egg Sushi (Tamagotchi)" in this area. Every time I order here, something different, seems like the foods were prepared by different chef. So I haven't written any reviews recently. But today's sushi combo was very good with fresh fish "Neta". Today,

Great lunch meal with my best friend at Itoko today. Fast and friendly service, very cozy and clean interior. We ordered the vegetable eggrolls which were crunchy and filled with veggies! I got the kuro tonkotsu which is not on the dine in menu, but is a tonkotsu with black garlic oil. She got the spicy miso ramen. Very enjoyable, great prices, we will absolutely return!

Ordered for pick up while in the area and was definitely not dissatisfied. The sushi was fresh and the flavors were on point. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to dine in and try out other items on the menu because it looked so appealing. Overall the space itself isn't too big but it's cozy for date night and perhaps parties of 4-6. I definitely plan on stopping in again to try more menu items in the future.

This little tucked away ramen spot is a hidden gem on Rufe Snow! I'm sure I've passed it a bunch of times but we were craving some ramen from a new place and this was the first to pop up! Wonderful reviews got us in the door as well as the pictures, what kept us there was the delicious food as well as friendly staff! Such a quaint and lovely place to take a step away from the day to day and enjoy a nice weekend meal! Will be returning soon!

Beef Shoyu Ramen - Beef broth noodle soup with beef slices, onions, bean sprout, and an egg
    James W.

Ordered their Beef Shoyu Ramen with an extra egg via DoorDash since I was busy working in my hotel room. It came nicely packaged and all I had to do was pour the beef broth into the bowl which was better than some places who separate everything. It was good, and had lots of ramen, bean sprouts, onions, and slices of beef. It came with a half egg, but I never got my extra egg which I paid for so minus one star. Another plus besides the nice packaging was the fact they sent a fork, a spoon, a napkin, and chopsticks !!! Thanks for that !!! I'll order from here again and may even go dine in.

I'm writing this like 3 months after my visiting this place and I only can say that the food was good but nothing memorable. Good service though and a quiet ambiance.

Spicy miso ramen without broth added (togo)

Last time I ordered togo spicy miso ramen and it was delicious. This time I wanted to try inside the restaurant. It's a cute little place. Black walls with intricate light fixtures. Staff is friendly. I wanted to try fried calamari. The batter is slightly thick and the calamari is chewy. I got it because the description said with spicy sweet sauce so I was thinking sweet chili sauce. When it came out it was the tempura dipping sauce the brown one. I asked for the sweet and chili sauce after and it was to my liking. Then we munched on a tornado roll that had yellow tail in it. I think it was good but we will try a different roll next time. I think when they deep fry it, it gives the fish a more cooked texture which id like to try something different. Lastly we ordered ramen. I wanted to try the shoyu ramen. I felt like it had a really good flavor broth and the fatty pork piece is one of my favorites. I decided on shoyu because I was feeling like bamboo shoots. Overall great pick. I tried my boyfriends tonkotsu and it tasted better after mixing the contents of the bowl. I'd still come back to try more of the items! We came here because it was close to the house. They also provided paper straws instead of plastic!

Food was was good. The calamari was my favorite. The sushi and sashimi I had was room temperature. Don't prefer that, however still good.

Gyoza to start that were nice and crispy, could have done with more than the teaspoonful of sauce we were given though. Maximum tea points, hot green tea that tasted delicious and was served in the cutest little pot I've seen in a while. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.

You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. With the ramen, you have the option to customize the type of ramen bowl they offer along with different soup bases. I was happy to see they had a garlic ramen with tonkatsu soup option. There's also a variety of appetizers, rice bowls, other noodle dishes, and desserts. They even have Korean street foods such as tteokbokki, pancakes and buldak stir-fried noodles. Along with my ramen, I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken karaake. The texture of the meat tasted like a meatball or ground chicken. While I liked the ramen in general, the soup was a bit on the salty side and that's coming from someone who likes her food salty. My friend didn't think so and literally slurped her bowl to the last drop. I will likely return to try other items on the menu, especially with it being so close to home. It's nice to have a ramen option nearby. They also offer bingsu which looks to be a smaller to-go version that looks interesting to try.

Good grief, this thing was phenomenal. It may have been the single best item we ordered. The crab was cooked perfectly with a satisfying crunch, the bao was pillowy soft, and they showed admirable restraint with the sauce. Too many places drown everything in mayo and call it creativity. Not here. Every bite was balanced and absolutely delicious. Then there was the pork belly burger, which looked like it was about to become my new favorite burger in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, it never quite got there. The pork belly hadn't rendered enough, making it chewy and difficult to bite through. The beef patty also seemed oddly resistant to being bitten. I shouldn't need the jaw strength of an alligator to eat a burger. My wife ordered the black garlic ramen. She loved the broth and thought the egg was excellent, but the noodles were surprisingly firm and ended up mostly untouched. The kid's meal was probably the easiest win of the night. My son happily devoured the chicken tenders and was thrilled to discover that dessert was included. The Cookie Monster ice cream may have generated more excitement than anything else on the table. Overall, this place feels like a restaurant with some genuinely brilliant ideas and a few execution issues. When they're on, they're REALLY on. That soft-shell crab bao alone is worth the trip. I'd happily come back, but next time I might just order three baos and call it dinner.

The interior of the restaurant is very anime-esque. You order at the counter once you're ready. I got the Tori-Mayu. My friend (thanks Andy!) got us apps - takoyaki and karage. Both were excellent! I made the classic mistake, as usual, of eating the takoyaki while it was still pretty hot. Despite the burns to the inside of my mouth, it was definitely worth it. The karage was was absolutely delicious as well. Perfect amount of crunch with moist chicken on the inside. Pairs very well with the spicy mayo that is served on the side. For my main, I got the Tori-mayi - the chicken ramen broth with garlic oil. The broth was rich and flavorful. The chashu was meaty and savory. All of the extra toppings were of great quality. It's located in Hurst in a little strip mall that's mostly empty but you can see the concentration of business and cars in the corner on the side where this restaurant is, when we first walked in we both noticed a bit of a strange smell like I would describe as mildew and I think that's because they were running two portable air conditioner units inside so I don't think this is something that's on the regular and after we sat down neither of us noticed it again. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. Right off the bat the service was very friendly and attentive, we ordered two appetizers the shrimp Yakitori and an order of the pork and vegetable egg rolls both appetizers were fresh and delicious, I also had upon the servers recommendation their honey lemon ice tea which was very good.
