Finally a good place in Fort Worth! Not Tex Mex, not bbq but sushi! Go figure! This was a totally random find! In a strip mall. We were going to Albertsons, and it was next door. I will say the pictures online look way better than the inside of the actual location when you go in person. Not saying it's bad, just not as nice. It's cozy and comfortable. Our waiter was awesome. We enjoyed miso soup, Philadelphia roll, sashimi salad, and yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño. Let's start out with our least fav which was the miso soup. I can't quite put my finger on it. It was just missing something, maybe if it had a little more green onion/scallion. Just missed for us. The Philadelphia roll was very good but not great. I'm not going to complain too bad, it's way better than supermarket sushi. Just felt unbalanced. The two stars, that almost elevated it to a 5 for us. The sashimi salad, and yellowtail sashimi were spectacular. They were that good. Affordable, great quality, fresh, and it was spicy! I would put those two dishes on par with more expensive "upscale" sushi bars. The ponzu sauce was spiced enough to give you that kick, but didn't overpower each ingredient. Both dishes were executed to perfection. Unfortunately I enjoyed the yellowtail so much I forgot to take the picture of that dish. I'm so glad we found a good place in Fort Worth before I called this town a complete bomb!

    Sweet shrimp

Food didn't come out as I expected. Sweet shrimp looks like just defrosted after order because it took a long time to comes out and the color looks was not the clear color. We have to keep looking for our server. Food came out to our table extremely slow maybe it is waiting for the shrimp get defrost but it will be nice to let the customer know. Order udon forget to give us soup and salad at the beginning, just only taking care of their regular customer at the bar. We have to request for it. To the first time here customer, I won't be willing to go back again for this service.

Got the spicy tonkatsu ramen with chicken katsu. Loved it! I'm half Chinese from Los Angeles. Bounce around between a couple states now for work. It's been a while since I've had good ramen, and this was very good.

I have been in here a few times for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and quiet. Service is friendly and quick. The food is always delicious, I enjoy their california roll very much. Their lunch specials are moderately priced and come with a good variety of foods. The crunch on the tonkatsu is great and the gyozas are very delicious as well! I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a quick lunch. I have also had their Ramen 1 time before and it was also pretty tasty. Check it out!

Not really impressed with the Ramen here. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen as the menu had it as their specialty Ramen. As soon as I saw it being served I knew that it wasn't going to be hot as there was no steam. Sure enough the temperature was disappointing. I thought what it lacked in temperature, the flavor would make up for as this is their special ramen that they were proud of. The flavors also disappointed. The egg on it was cold and overcooked. Very disappointed.

First time coming to this restaurant and was slightly suprised to see that it was quite small inside. There are a few pros an cons about this place listed below: The Pros: Looks clean, decent decor, good music The food is decent tasting, good portions Little to no people so not much noise in terms of chatting from other people The Cons: Strong, musty mildew odor when first entered. Senses eventually adjusted to interior air.(hope they fix that up soon) Seating is tight and table is quite small Reception and service is mediocre Overall, if you can handle the strong, sudden smell upon entrance and plan on coming here, the food is decent enough to enjoy with frienda and family. Just don't bring too many people, 4 at max, including yourself; otherwise, you'll have to sit separately. 3/5 Stars

I loveeee the ramen and sushi. i usually do a pick up order from doordash but there was a time I was eating it about 3 times a week, i get extra noodle and and veggies w spicy tonkontsu . The sushi was pretty good too! I have never ate inside but the service is always fast

Excellent ramen served hot with plenty of broth the ramen is 4 stars. It was nice and filling. My only recommendation for the ramen is on the prep and or service aspect. The kids ramen (yes from kids menu) came out last and just as piping hot as the adult portions. I'm sure the majority with children will agree. It is much easier on us when the child's food comes out first and we have an opportunity to help them prepare to eat it. Additionally, if the water is going to be a adult level temp I recommend and they add this to the menu so parents of the option to say kids temp vs assuming a kids menu means kids appropriate heat. The sushi isn't worth trying, I have already forgotten what I ordered, but I do like that they offer you to order in half size rolls. I give the sushi 2 1/2 stars, the flavor wasn't bad, but nothing seemed very fresh to include the dried out ginger. Overall service was good and pleasant. Recommend for a ramen fuel up.

1.5oz serving cup of soy sauce or Sriracha = $1.25 a piece.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This food was flavorless and a huge disappointment. My boyfriend and I both got Ramen. It was his first time trying ramen from a restaurant and my most favorite place has closed, so we thought we'd give this place a try. My boyfriend immediately said he'd rather have a $1 packet of maruchan ramen than eat the dish he had received. It was like eating plain water with noodles, chicken, cabbage, and corn. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen (creamy pork broth with chicken), and he got the Spicy Miso Ramen. Neither had any sort of flavor whatsoever. My boyfriend also ordered a chicken teriyaki plate, and only enjoyed the asparagus.. he doesn't even LIKE asparagus. They also charged $5 for a to-go request of sriracha and soy sauce- in which we only received two 1.5oz containers of each sauce (think 1/2 of a jello shot). Overall, I'm disappointed that this was his first time trying restaurant-made Ramen, and he's disappointed in the entire experience. If you like water with chunks and color in it, this would be great for you!! If you like good, or even DECENT food: I would suggest finding anywhere else.

Ask the Community - Wild Sushi & Ramen

Are there not any vegetarian ramens? Maybe I am missing something, I would have thought there of course would have been one but I haven't been able to locate on on the menu? Thanks.

I think there is and they will accommodate to what ever you would like to eat.

Our only complaint with the general noodle dishes were that they had little meat or only one slice of meat. The slice was so delicious and tender, it fell apart when I bit into it! Unfortunately wish I had more. Shoyu Ramen 8/10: A very good savory standard ramen! Not sure how to describe the flavor but it is just a good salty soup when you want something heartful and salty. Spicy Miso 6/10: Not much to it but spice! It came with no meat and I could unfortunately only taste the spice. The space feels intimate and welcoming, the kind of spot where the steam from the bowls fogs up the windows and time slows down just enough to enjoy your meal. The ramen is where Kintaro really shines. The broth is deeply flavored and comforting, rich without feeling heavy, and clearly simmered with care. Every sip feels intentional. The noodles have that perfect bite, springy and substantial, soaking up the broth without going soft. Toppings are generous and well balanced, especially the pork, which is tender and savory and melts into the broth in the best way. What really sells the experience is how everything works together. The warmth of the space, the aroma of the kitchen, and the layered flavors in the bowl create something that feels less like a quick meal and more like a small ritual. As we walked in I also noticed That this place has a nice little cozy feel to it with some interesting decor, beautiful paintings on the wall and kind of an old school feel which I enjoy, there's an upstairs section that's pretty cool looking also where you can have private events or family style gatherings. The Shouyu Chicken ramen was very delicious, the chicken broth was so good great flavor. Albeit, in my humble opinion the noodles, other toppings and chicken was very sparse for the price of the ramen. But, as far as taste goes it was one the best I have had so far. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.
