The sushi to rice ratio was amazing, they give you huge pieces of fish and it's so fresh. The king salmon was sooo buttery, it melted in your mouth. Such a small but great place for lunch! Friendly staff, clean store, and great quality food

I take that review back. I guess they decided to go to the other end and go down with quality. The fish is not that fresh any more. Yet, they charge arms and legs. The portion size is the biggest problem of all. You cannot charge customers over $40 and have them leave hungry, especially when the customer is short asian guy with tiny apetite. I cannot recommend this place any more. I rather just go to Kura Revolving Sushi nearby. Quality is about the same but the portion is much bigger and you get to choose what you want to get.

soft shell crab, yellowtail collar, cucumber wrapped roll, salads, etc.

wow! extremely impressed! Shishito peppers (double order), soft shell crab, yellowtail collar, rice-less (cucumber wrapped) sushi roll, salads, etc... Very happy! So many of my favorites and it cooked them up deliciously!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience, I felt like the quality of the sushi was the best I've had in a long time, very fresh, even compared to some very high end places. If you're a nigiri person, it's impeccable. If you're a rolls person, they have all sorts of chefs creations as well as the classics. If you're a hand roll person, they have that too. And the appetizers were great too! This place is fantastic for dining in or takeout, despite being in a strip mall. And value for money, can not beat it.

This was called interesting. Scallop in top with finely chopped salmon. The seaweed was a bit chewy on this one

New spot on the block! Went with my family to try out the sushi. We were not disappointed. We filled the table with 8 different selections including some tempura shrimp and tempura vegetables. The portion was light with the vegetables, but shrimp seemed more appropriate. Both were flavorful. All of the selections tasted fresh. The table favorite was the Fort Worth and the Orange Blossom. Service was great and the chefs were rewarded. It's always nice to give the creators a little extra.

All around great experience. We started with miso soup and fired Gyoza. The miso was flavorful and the Gyoza was crispy. We got our drinks very quickly, our server was on top of it. Even circling back after our first few bites to make sure we were enjoying everything. The sushi was made to perfection with the best ingredients and ratios. The place is small but very well decorated with the right amount of lighting. After dinner, I felt obligated to tell someone how great my experience was. Just so happened to be the manager, Kevin. 10/10, will be returning soon.

    Shrimp and vegetable tempura!

This is by far my favorite sushi place to order on DoorDash. I've never been inside physically, but it has the best to go sushi.

Hesitantly we decided to eat before we stopped off at Lowe's and headed back to finish. Stay with me here. We were a little dirty. Not filthy. Not like we had mud all over us but dressed in work out clothes. Super casual. We entered and asked for a booth, The hostess took us to the back end of the booth where there were tables filled with other patrons. I wanted a bit more privacy and asked her to sit one booth back. She said no. Not to be deterred I sit down at the booth we wanted and felt most Comfortable. We wanted some privacy and not have people all around us. The request was to literally sit one booth back...this hostess wasn't having it. She literally demanded we sit at her booth of choice. Today, it became a "I'm not moving". She "slams" the menus and walks off. That behavior had to be addressed. I'm a reasonable person but expect a certain level of customer service. After all the price of eating out....isn't cheap these days and We eat here all the time. In fact, I became the DUKE again when checking in today.... #1 patron! I take great pride in the title. I discussed my frustration with the manager. When I asked to speak with her the hostess pointed to a manager sitting at the table vs going and getting her. Rude was an understatement. The manager didn't seem overly concerned. All said, the food was wonderful. The Tuna Tower (we ask for no rice) needed more avocado. The Pan Seared dumplings Devine as usual and of course the crab Rangoon are other worldly. The spicy bad girl roll was tasty. We added cream cheese. My sister gets her usual....every time. Hibachi Filet mignon, fried rice and Ginger Salad. It's her absolute favorite and she enjoyed every bite. I don't think one person should drive the overall review but today's experience was stressful...The food 5 Stars. Consistent. That said the hostess has influence and today's 1 star review is for her an her alone. We also ran into Lencho. Lencho is the absolute best waiter. Sundays though he works on the hibachi grill side. Bummer. His smile would have turned the experience around. He's that good and we love him. This is the second time where We've not experience the best customer service. Kyushu ownership should take note.....Some southern hospitality goes a long way. Look no further than to Lencho!

The service was very good constantly removing trash and dirty dishes during the evening. They did a very good job keeping drinks full and never hit the bottom of the glass. Good grief, this thing was phenomenal. It may have been the single best item we ordered. The crab was cooked perfectly with a satisfying crunch, the bao was pillowy soft, and they showed admirable restraint with the sauce. Too many places drown everything in mayo and call it creativity. Not here. Every bite was balanced and absolutely delicious. Then there was the pork belly burger, which looked like it was about to become my new favorite burger in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, it never quite got there. The pork belly hadn't rendered enough, making it chewy and difficult to bite through. The beef patty also seemed oddly resistant to being bitten. I shouldn't need the jaw strength of an alligator to eat a burger. My wife ordered the black garlic ramen. She loved the broth and thought the egg was excellent, but the noodles were surprisingly firm and ended up mostly untouched. The kid's meal was probably the easiest win of the night. My son happily devoured the chicken tenders and was thrilled to discover that dessert was included. The Cookie Monster ice cream may have generated more excitement than anything else on the table. Overall, this place feels like a restaurant with some genuinely brilliant ideas and a few execution issues. When they're on, they're REALLY on. That soft-shell crab bao alone is worth the trip. I'd happily come back, but next time I might just order three baos and call it dinner.

We had a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend because it gets busy especially on a Friday and parking is limited. Once we were seated, the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu. We started with the hand rolls, the Masu Tartare and Toro Tartare and both were delicious. I personally loved the Masu more, but you really can't go wrong with either. We also ordered calamari, which arrived a bit later. It was okay, nothing spectacular, not as crispy as I hoped but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. For sushi, I had the Spicy Atlantic Salmon and the Kani Koi. I absolutely loved the Spicy Atlantic Salmon...it was definitely a favorite but my fiancé preferred the Kanikoi, so everyone wins. We also tried the Kamasu - Barracuda, which was just as delicious. Overall, everything was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try more hand rolls and a few other dishes.

Atmosphere is cute, definitely nice for a date night with the ambient lighting and cute floral decor. The food was a huge win for us along with the LARGE beer glasses that come out nice and frosted (ask for the coldest glasses). We enjoyed the octopus salad, chicken kaarage, some fried fish that came on the house, super philidelphia roll, crawfish roll, softshell crab, chicken katsu don, and salmon skin handroll. Everything was really great quality and quantity. My top favorites for the night were the octopus salad, a great combonation of seaweed salad, octopus, and cucumber salad. Extremely flavorful and a great way to start the night. The chicken kaarage was beautifully battered, not too heavy and very well seasoned, pairing well with the sauce that accompanied it. The soft shell crab... was one of the best I've had in DFW! I honestly was tempted to order more because it was nicely fried (seriously a great batter) and the light sauce helped amplify the flavor of the crab. Yummmm! The salmon skin handroll was tasty and crunchy with a nice balance of flavor. I think the key is making sure you eat from the sides and have a bit of the center with each bite, since the sauce is centralized there. If not I can see it being too salty for some.
