I've had multiple procedures done at iTooth dentistry and I am completely satisfied with all of them. Dr. Mendoza is very kind and informative when it comes to treating his patients. He explained everything to me before starting any procedure and I really appreciated that. His staff are all really nice and attentive and they make you feel right at home. I will not be switching dentist any time soon! iTooth is a great place for new patients or even patients looking for a better dental experience. This office will not disappoint you, plus they have really good hours available even for those who work kind of late. After doing extensive research in finding a dentist I decided to go with iTooth. I saw wonderful reviews & I haven't seen a dentist in a while. I went in for a cleaning. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The facility is very well kept as well. I was very disappointed today with my experience. I have been having upper jaw pain and I assumed I was getting my upper wisdom teeth because my gums were sore, I felt something poking at me and I have been having discomfort in my jaw. They don't have the machine that does a full 360 x-ray on your teeth & after a few X-rays, they determined that I don't have wisdom teeth at all since it's not visible in the X-ray. I understand that I need a deep cleaning due to not visiting the dentist in years. But the lady who was cleaning my teeth kept emphasizing on it the entire time cleaning my teeth. Once the Dentist came in he was confused on why I was getting pain and said it "might" have something to do with my gums. & I need to get a deep cleaning because the tar or bacteria build up might be whats causing my back left molar pain. I explained to the dentist that I have been taking ibuprofen, but it is not helping with the pain. & his suggestion is to take ibuprofen and wait a few days for the pain to go away because I just had a normal cleanse. & again the Dentist stated that I need to get a deep cleaning (which I understand). What I don't understand is how can the dentist recommended me to take Ibuprofen for the pain if I already explained that it hasn't been working in my favor. I didn't get a solution to my problem or an alternative to deal with my tooth pain. He did say he would follow up to see if the pain persists. But it been an ongoing thing and I don't think he completely understands me. The last thing I wanted to do was jump from dentist to dentist, but If they can't help me with my toothache here I have to find another office that can help determine the cause of my pain rather than just assuming it "might" be because of my gum and not be certain about it. read more

I went into get my tooth checked out. Everyone from the receptionist, dental hygienist (who is a doll, loved her) and dentist Dr. Mendoza were amazing. Not to mention they were attentive to my fears of anesthesia and ache. Dr. Mendoza walked me through what was going with my tooth in detail! I felt heard and appreciated. I usually hate going to the dentist and have been to several in town. I have not had pleasant experiences with other offices, which is what led me here. This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. From being greeted and called by Jordan, the best front desk person - to having the most extensive, thorough, and educating cleaning from Carine, my hygeinist. Dr. Mendoza was exceptional, thoughtful and patient with all of my questions. It is clear that everyone enjoys working at the office and is passionate about what they do. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I went to iTooth Dentistry in Fresno, CA. The waiting room and reception area were both clean and well laid out. I met the dentist, Dr. Mendoza within a few minutes of my arrival to the office as he came out to meet two new patients. It was a nice touch. I was brought back to a very spacious, clean room. The chair and equipment were brand new. Everything looked very clean. Even the X-ray machine was neatly tucked away. FYI* Itooth Dentistry has a separate special room for scanning teeth to make retainers (3M TruDef Digital Scanner). My fiancé was getting her teeth scanned to make a retainer to close a gap in her front teeth. Carine was the hygienist who listened to my dental history and asked some logical follow up questions. She spent about 45 minutes on my appointment, counting and numbering my teeth, measuring the gaps in between my teeth and gum line, cleaning my teeth and making recommendations for keeping my teeth and gums healthy. There was lots to talk about my teeth and gums, but I heard no ridicule or judgement from the hygienist or the dentist. I was impressed with the relaxed and professional atmosphere of the iTooth Dentistry office. This is a very well run dental office. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. My husband needed to see a dentist right away for a several cracked teeth that had then cause for his mouth to swell up. They were able to see him that day and helped his pain go away. The entire staff is AMAZING!! Everyone was so polite, answered any questions that my husband and I had and they made sure we knew how much something would cost beforehand. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were all young adults and being a young adult myself, it felt like I was talking to my friend on a typical day. I'll begin by giving the full disclaimer that I dread going to the dentist-- I've always disliked dentist visits since I was a child. The thought of opening my mouth for someone else to drill was in no way appealing. However, to my surprise, iTooth Dentistry changed that. Dr. Mendoza is professional, efficient, effective, and personable. He and his team have given me a more positive outlook on having my mouth pried open. I've gotten a cleaning, a few fillings, and a couple of crowns. The front desk staff (usually Courtney) is always friendly-- she greets me by name when I walk in. My wait time is always less than two minutes. Even while on the chair, Dr. Mendoza comes in shortly. I've emailed them and received a respond in less than 15 minutes. They always call me one day prior to my appointment as a reminder. I needed a lot of work when I initially came in, which means it would've been costly. Courtney worked with me on a payment plan and in no way made me feel pressured to get all of the work done immediately. I will be moving out of state so, unfortunately, cannot keep coming to iTooth. Upon telling Courtney, she immediately printed out my records so that I can take it over to my new dentist. I reviewed the paperwork and they've included detailed information about my visits; I'm sure my future dentist will appreciate the background. Dr. Mendoza's assistants are friendly and efficient as well. I've encountered a couple of them through my multiple visits--Lauren and Aarika. They seem to know what they're doing and work well with the Doctor. Dr. Mendoza is, without a doubt, my favorite dentist in my history of seeing a dentist. It took me 5 different dentists until I found Dr. Mendoza. I have never seen a dentist take my work so seriously and it's very important to him. I broke off a front tooth at 4:30 the day before. He called and had me go to his office at 6:30 the next morning and had my tooth ready to "install" at 1:30 in the afternoon. Who does that? I have found my dentist, finally! Dr. Mendoza and his staff discriminate against health care workers. I work in healthcare and have COVID patients during my shifts. The staff at my facility wear the appropriate PPE as recommended by the CDC and we also get tested weekly. I have yet to test positive for COVID nor have any other therapist that works with COVID patients because we take the precautions seriously. I made an appointment in advance and Dr. Mendoza's staff did not mention that they were not seeing healthcare workers that have been working in a COVID environment. I wasn't called until a day before my appointment with the COVID questionnaire. I explained that yes I had been around someone with COVID but with the appropriate PPE as recommended by the CDC. I also explained I had been tested a few days ago (after my last shift with COVID patients) and was negative. The receptionist asking the questions didn't know what to say after I explained the situation and had to have someone else call me back to explain that they would not be seeing me. I asked when I could be seen and her answer was basically after COVID is over. It's a shame that healthcare workers on the front line are being discriminated against by Dr. Mendoza and his staff. As I risk my life everyday I hope he is enjoying the luxury of staying safe and being able to keep his business open. Not to mention that he wasted my time not explaining the precautions when I initially made the appointment. I have no respect. read more

On a Saturday, Dr. Mendoza himself answered my call. His office was the only one that accommodated us in such short notice after all local offices were unresponsive. Because I spoke to the doctor himself, he made us feel comfortable to make the hour drive to see him (even though we were desperate ourselves ). Aside of him seeing my husband on the same day of the weekend call, he was extremely reasonable with costs after not having insurance! Because of his great work and sincerity, we will continue seeing this doctor for our future visits. Part of my tooth fell out on Friday and needed to see an oral surgeon asap to remove the remaining tooth in my mouth. I called around and no one would take me in. I did a quick Google search and itooth took me right in! I was greeted by a VERY nice and helpful receptionist! The office was nice and clean! All of the staff were energetic and very friendly. I found myself laughing several times while talking to them. When Dr. was extracting my tooth, he kept asking me if I was okay. It was a very refreshing experience! Dr. is not an oral surgeon, but performs several procedures. I had my tooth extracted yesterday, and today I feel great! He keeps up on the latest news/techniques, doesn't take short cuts & again was the only dentist to recommend a higher fluoride toothpaste since my little community is on well water & therefore we don't get any fluoride in our water (yes, it's GOOD for your dental health). Kind inviting staff from the front desk to the dentist. Dr. Mendoza listened and remembered me by my email I composed online while trying to locate a PPO Dentist. He listened to my anxieties about visiting the dentist office, I have not seen a dentist in years and was embarrassed to go anywhere but my tooth pain had become unbearable. He and his staff made me feel at ease and walked me through EVERYTHING. I was most worried about the anesthesia and he answered and clarified the feelings that I would feel after the injection, no other Dentist had ever explained the sensations you go through. I really appreciated the time he took to relieve my toothache the same day! Everyone was telling me that I would not get anything done on the day of my visit being the first day I had visited the office, but Dr. Mendoza actually cared about me and chose to fix the issue right then and there for me. So...I have not been to the dentist in over 10 years (bad, I know). I desperately needed a check up and cleaning. I found out about iTooth Dentistry on Yelp. Normally, I do not trust Yelp reviews. However, when I called to ask some questions, the receptionist was very nice and accommodating. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day (today) and I loved the entire experience.
