I usually come once a week. Generally I get a matcha based drink such as the Matchata or the Matcha Milk Tea with Boba. The majority of the time both drinks are good but the quality between visits are inconsistent. My issues are mainly around the amount of Matcha in the drinks. Half of the time a good portion of Matcha is put in and creates a nice dark verdant green when mixed. The other half of the time there's barely any matcha and it's just a yellow/light greenish color after mixing with barely any matcha flavor. I've had Boba Time many times before, but never at this location. I ordered my usual Green Apple Slush with boba and was very disappointed. It was so watery and didn't taste anything like it. Very disappointing! Recently, I've been going to other boba stores because Boba Time isn't as high quality. I lost all hope for boba in Ventura county until coming here twice this week. I had the rose matcha milk tea with boba on Monday and then the Cheese Foam (Sea Salt) jasmine matcha today. Both were very good considering all the other boba I have had in Ventura County. It's nice to know I don't have to drive all the way to Bon Bon in Northridge for some good boba. I noticed there's a lot of people complaining about the inconsistency of flavor but the matcha has been pretty on point for me this week. Though there was a line when we arrived, the ordering process was extremely efficient. The large menu is easy to see and had pictures which made ordering a breeze even fir my kids since the menu was counter height. This little spot is literally a storefront hole in the wall. No indoor seating but that's perfect for this covid world we are living in. Came by right before they opened and a line was already forming. There's an option to order online which I would recommend considering the huge variety of drinks to choose from and the line. I called to get my refund and the manager Hannah agreed to give a refund and I went and showed them the piece of glass and gave them back they're drinks and the manager refused to come outside and gave me a partial refund. I work in the food industry and as a manager even if I'm on my break I would come out and take care of an extremely important problem such as finding BROKEN GLASS IN MY DRINK that was totally unacceptable and disgusting that she couldn't face me and go through her word.
