I had a horrible experience at It's Boba Time (San Dimas). I ordered the Hokkaido Milk Tea ($6.50 - Large) with Boba. The pearls had the taste and texture of toilet paper. The tea had the flavor of cheap powder mixed in water. In the end, I tossed this thing into the trash (video attached). This experience was such a waste of money!! I arrived at It's Boba Time (San Dimas) on Saturday (around 12:06PM - near opening time). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. There's even EV Charging Stations. Staff is the highlight. Staff (receipt says Gavin) warmly welcomed me as I entered. Gavin is professional and friendly. My drink took one minute and 30 seconds. Quick! As mentioned, I abhorred the Hokkaido Milk Tea ($6.50 - Large) with Boba. It's one of the worst prepared drinks that I've had in a long time. The tea had an artificial candy flavor while also offering a thin, watery aftertaste. The boba had no sweetness nor flavor; it tasted and felt like chewing on toilet paper. There's no bounce; rather, its just "splats." In the end, this thing went into the trashcan. "UGH!!!" Concerning ambiance, It's Boba Time (San Dimas) is harmless. I appreciated how the location was relatively clean. Ignoring the clumpy dust in its crevices, the three indoor tables are shiny. The floor also looked swept. It's Boba Time (San Dimas) has no available electrical outlets. There's a gender neutral restroom, but it was out-of-order during my visit. Also, the music is inviting and jolly with its Christmas tunes. Overall, I had a horrific experience at It's Boba Time (San Dimas). I left nauseated and annoyed. "Such a waste of money!" Recently, I've been a fan of the Boba Time brand and the selection they have to offer the customers. The menu options are extremely large whether that is a positive or a negative. I enjoy seeing the multitude of options on the menu and the current top drinks when you go to the location. We've ordered drinks on the app since you get rewards for spending and also drop in to this San Dimas location. The drinks are usually served in a timely matter and ready when stated in the app. Staff for the most part are always friendly and work hard to manage all the orders. The location has few tables for seating inside, but plenty outside the boba shop. My personal favorites are the Strawberry Matcha, Matchata (matcha + horchata), Pistachio Milk Tea and Hokkaido Milk Tea. All these are ones I gravitate towards choosing. Got some Boba for the team. They have a great amount of choices. From teas to smoothies to boba drinks and many others, with so many topping combinations. I really like the fact that on their website they'll tell you the nutritional facts including how many calories in each one of their drinks. Its in the shopping center of Smart and Final, right inbetween a Ramen shop and a Sushi shop. Minimal seating inside and theres some more shared space seating outside. Bathroom was out of order while I was there which is the only knock I have against this place. Friendly customer service. I ordered like 6 or so drinks. She was very patient with me. I was craving something sweet after having dinner at Show Sushi. It's Boba Time is conveniently located just adjacent to Show Sushi. The shop was well lit and very clean They have some indoor seating. The barista was very nice and friendly. The service was very fast, although she was alone in the shop. They have a wide selection of refreshing drinks. Their menu includes all of these yummy drink categories: milk tea, iced tea, milk foam top, tea float, smoothies, shakes, slush, frosty milk, frappe, iced and hot coffee, and shaved ice. They also have açai bowls and cakes. I chose my favorite, which is strawberry matcha milk tea. My husband got guava iced tea with boba and my daughter got rose matcha milk tea. The drinks were refreshing and adequately sweetened. It's a nice place to stop by and try a refreshing drink. I will be back soon. read more

Such a hidden delight. Tucked away inside a strip mall is this wonderful Boba shop. When you walk in, you're greated with a smile. The girl behind the counter was very nice. Lots of choices, smoothie, coffees and frozen ice all with boba. There was 3 of us so we had one of each. Wow, these were delicious. Very flavorful and great portion size. Been to this chain many times but it was my first time at this location. The inside is small with a few chairs and tables (more of a to-go vibe). There is a tablet you can order from and service is prompt. It's never my go to boba spot but there are a few drinks here I really love and get on repeat - pistachio smoothie, strawberry and watermelon slush, and strawberry matcha with oat milk. For those three drinks, I would come back when I'm in the area! I also like that if you order "light boba," they don't charge extra. read more

Boba ! Yes! If you're a fan, you have to stop by and try them out. They have so many flavors and some drinks are blended. Order on the app before hand if you'd rather not wait, or if it's last minute you can order from the kiosk inside or with the staff. It's clean and cool inside so you can relax with this hot weather. Upon arriving at the parking lot in front of Show Sushi (I was picking up dinner last night), I saw this really bright sign with "It's Boba Time" on it. I didn't know they opened a location in San Dimas... cool! You now can get some boba after some sushi (on their right) or some ramen (on their left) or both... why not! Great spot to be Boba Time! The first time I had their drinks at another location, I was not very impressed. Hence, I haven't been back to try them again until now. This location is very bright inside. It has limited interior seating. Drink menu has quite a bit of hot and cold drink selections. They do have their top 20 drinks displayed so that may help in the decision-making for some customers... not for all of course. You may order from their 1 kiosk or just walk up to the counter and order face-to-face... the choice is yours. They do have 1 all gender restroom available for use which is convenient (1 is better than none I say)... remember to ask for the code. I usually get 3 drinks when I am at a boba joint... 1 for me and 2 for my daughters. I went with the kale green as I was looking for all fresh ingredients and not the powder stuff. I got 1 peach strawberry with lychee jelly for my eldest and 1 house milk tea with crystal boba for my youngest. All the drinks were quite good. I was skeptical about the kale green, but all veggies and fruits balanced out in flavor... I would get it again! Staff was super nice and pleasant. Ambiance like I said was very inviting with its bright white lights. Prices are quite reasonable. Now that I know they are here, I will return whenever I am in the San Dimas area. The fact that this place was opened on THANKSGIVING gets a review! I visited my family in San Dimas for Thanksgiving and we were looking for anything that was opened, we got tricked by Starbucks because people drove through and looked like they were ordering but they weren't, I was so sad BUT just a few feet away was boba time! So we came and saw a clean store with lots of photos of boba and lots of options for milk alternatives! I had a disappointing experience at It's Boba Time today. I accidentally spilled my drink, but the person I was with and I immediately started cleaning it up ourselves because we didn't want to leave a mess. While we were wiping it up, we noticed there was 2 specific male employees working that were rude and talking about us with an attitude. I understand it was a little busy, but it definitely wasn't busy enough to justify being disrespectful to customers who were clearly trying to fix their own mistake. After that, when we asked about getting the drink replaced, we were waiting by the counter and a blonde female employee spoke to us in a very rude manner. She asked if we were in line in a tone that felt dismissive, as if she hadn't just seen everything that happened. If she needed us to move, she could have asked respectfully. Management can easily check the security cameras and see that we were cleaning the spill ourselves in the beginning which we honestly didn't even have to do. Accidents happen, but the way the staff handled it was unnecessary and unprofessional. Basic courtesy and respect would have gone a long way. read more

In case anyone was curious about their Acai bowls, I wouldn't recommend. The Acai base was pretty watery, not thick at all. Might be fine for a smoothie consistency for drinking through a straw, but it was like an Acai soup with fruit. Drinks are expensive as well- a tea with boba/toppings shouldn't be over $8 for this level of quality. The only redeeming quality is when they have a deal (ex. Love this new addition to San Dimas/Glendora where boba establishments are lacking. Even though this is a chain, the 2 times we've been here we've had great service and excellent tasting drinks. First , the parking lot is large , so there's always ample parking . The store is very clean and tastefully decorated . Though there are no tables to sit inside , there is a long bench to wait for your drinks and there are some tables outside. The menu is large and you're always guaranteed to find something that suits your taste, whether it's milk tea , acai bowls or shaved ice. We were greeted warmly both times we came and our drinks were made exactly to our liking. I like that the pistacho matcha milk tea was not too heavy on the matcha, it was perfectly sweet at 25% and the boba texture was bouncy and chewy , not mushy. The boba was cooked perfectly and had that subtle sweetness. The taro milk tea, however, was just OK. It wasn't the best quality of taro tea. I've had better. The jasmine green tea was seriously lacking in flavor. We had asked for it to be sweetened, but it tasted watered down -- hardly any essence of jasmine whatsoever. We've had better jasmine green tea elsewhere. The place has one banquette for seating, no tables. Not sure about outdoor seating as we came in at night. It was VERY cold inside as the AC was on high blast. With temps in the low 50s at night, this was absolutely unnecessary. So there's good boba, but questionable beverages. If you can't make a proper jasmine green tea or taro milk tea, I'm not sure I'm motivated to come back and sample other drinks. read more

This is hands down the BEST boba spot in the area with many flavors to choose from! My go-to is either their Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie or Thai Tea Smoothie with boba! My husband always gets the Taro Smoothie with boba and that one is equally as good too! Their boba shop is very inviting and is perfectly located in a San Dimas plaza with plenty of parking and food spots around it. In addition, they whip up the drinks fairly quickly for a store that seems to always be busy with many orders. Thanks Boba Time for never disappointing us! I'm glad another boba shop opened in this area! I've been twice so far. The first time I got a chai milk tea and it was fine, but I thought the flavor could've been a bit stronger. This was when they first opened, so maybe it's improved by now. The second time I got a classic milk tea and it wasn't sweet at all, even though I didn't ask for it that way.
