    3-Scoop Bowl
    Melisa A.

I stopped by on Wednesday and had a pretty good experience overall. I ordered a 3-scoop bowl with spicy crab, tuna, and albacore over brown rice and salad. When I first walked in, it felt a little warm inside, which made me pause for a second since raw fish is involved. Thankfully, the fish itself tasted fresh enough and everything was solid quality. I added the haus sauce and spicy mayo, which worked really well together. The portion size was perfect. I felt full but not overly stuffed. Service was good and the place looked clean. Parking was also super easy, which is always a nice bonus. My only real downside was the price. I paid $20 for the bowl, which feels a bit high for what I would call a good but not amazing poke spot. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give it a 3.5. It is not quite a 4 for me, but definitely better than a 3. If I am in the area, I would consider coming back, though I do have a couple spots closer to home that I would probably choose first.

3 scoop bowl: brown rice, edamame, cucumbers, shrimp, salmon, crabmeat, seaweed flakes, crunchy onions, eel sauce, & Haus sauce.

I just tried this place for the first time. It is delicious! Everything is super tasty and fresh. The girl that helped me to order and made my bowl was very nice and helpful. The place was very neat and well kept. I would recommend this place for sure!

First impressions, a huge menu that felt an overwhelming. Luckily, the staff is 5/5. They were so kind and helpful, which led me to get a kids bowl that comes with one protein and 4 sides and pretty much unlimited toppings like sesame seeds, nori, chili, soy sauce, eel sauce. I went with the workers recommendation and my bowl came out so delicious! I got tuna, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, over white rice. Topped with I believe it was furakake, dried onions, spicy mayo, eel sauce, soy sauce, tempura crumbs. I would definitely return!

My, my when I say this is some good poke, I definitely mean it. I was in the area and was craving some poke, and I'm glad I stopped by for dinner. The fish is very fresh and flavorful. It doesn't taste fishy at all. I got a 3 scoop bowl: 1 tuna, 1 salmon, and 1 spicy crab. My favorite was the salmon, it had a good, fatty, and delicious taste. The veggies, onions, rice, and toppings I got were good too. There's unlimited sauce combinations you can do and they have a lot of sauces you can choose from. They have handcrafted sauces they make in house. For the sauce mixture, I got chili oil, mauna loa(tastes like garlic spicy mayo w/sesame seeds), sesame oil, and spicy mayo. The taste was flavorful and addicting and I kept eating. The service was nice too and the worker scooped a healthy amount of food for the price. The shop and food service area looks clean too. Good price for the value and quality, I'll come again!

Usually I'm not too crazy about this place cause the portion sizes are kinda small and I haven't got the best service. This time the food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the guy helping me was so sweet and helpful. I enjoyed my food inside the restaurant cause it was nice and quiet ambiance, I can't wait to come back and be able to enjoy my food and some quiet time again.

Poke with Spicy Salmon, Tuna , and Crab, Maui Garlic, Mauna Loa, house dressing, Xtra added crunch.

We came in this morning at opening. I didn't get their names but the two employees, couldn't have been more inviting and kind. Loved this place off the bat. Thank you both. They have a large selection of items and different variations, which I might add were all delicious. Nice portions. We will definately be back

I have had Alohus Poke  marked for a while. Finally, I stopped by to try it. It is located next to Sprout Farmers Market and Marshalls. The parking lot is huge, there is no problem to find a parking spot easily. The restaurant itself is spacious and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It looked clean and has comfortable ambience. Their menu includes 3 scoops poki bowl, 5 scoop poki bowl, poki burritos (3 or 5 scoops),Veggie bowl, and kids bowl. They also have Hawaiian shaved ice and many drinks. I ordered 3 scoop of protein for me and 5 scoop for my husband. I had up to 8 toppings to choose from which was more than enough. They have various choices for the protein as well as for the toppings. I ordered half rice & half salad for the base. The amount was huge, the seafood was fresh and flavorful. Their spam musubi was delicious. The staff was friendly. I will come back for sure. It's a nice poke bar in Glendora.

I called ahead with my order and when I went to pick up my food, I had major difficulty trying to find a parking spot. This shopping center is full of eateries, one being Buffalo Wild Wings, so parking is REALLY hard to find. I had to loop around a couple times before I found a parking spot. Prices here are competitive with Ono. I ordered the beef & short ribs combo plate, BBQ Chicken plate, and the chicken Katsu plate. The food was pretty good, but I don't think my family enjoyed the short ribs very much as they thought it was dry. I think the best thing was the chicken Katsu. It was crisp and tasty. The Katsu sauce tasted kind of watered down which I didn't prefer.

The beef patties were overly dry, and there was barely any gravy, which made the whole dish feel pretty unsatisfying. The mac salad was good, but overall the meal didn't feel worth the $16-$18 price point. That said, I do plan on coming back because the musubis really are that good. I'll just stick to what they do best or try something different next time. Parking is super easy since it's in a shopping area that never seems too busy, which is always a plus.

The menu is pretty large and they also offer a catering menu. There are many kinds of appetizers like cheesy fries with your choice of protein, and many varieties of musubis. They also sell noodles (noodle soups and garlic noodles) as well as tacos. It was a Tuesday so I decided to try their daily special Fried Chicken Plate with mac salad. I also ordered the HoAloha Chicken Mix Plate with green salad. Both plates come with 2 scoops of rice. Food was ok, but I've honestly had better Hawaiian food. First thing I noticed was that the rice they serve is jasmine rather than the Calrose rice that is usually served with Hawaiian food. Some people don't care, but I'm kind of a rice nerd. It's like using basmati rice in your sushi. You can argue that it's still rice, but it's weird. The fried chicken was hit or miss. Some pieces were good, some were dried out and hard. The sauce that came with it was good. The mac salad was very slippery compared to other Hawaiian mac salads I've had. I kept dropping it everytime I tried to have a bite. The texture and taste reminds me of the mac salad that comes in the tub from the deli at the market. As for the chicken mix plate, the Katsu was pretty thin and dry also. The Katsu sauce was weak - very watery and tasteless. The BBQ chicken was pretty good however. For some good BBQ chicken in the area, I'd rather go around the corner to Jinza.

TK Cafe has thoroughly impressed me off first impression, and if I was closer, I'd probably be a regular here. For how much we ordered, the food didn't take too long to come out and genuinely, was so good. We got a lot here, from the garlic shrimp to the popcorn chicken, and so much more. The popcorn chicken was, without a doubt, my favorite item. We originally came here because a friend said they had the best popcorn chicken, and I'd honestly agree. It was crispy but also still a bit juicy and I feel like most places go heavily into the crisp aspect and it ends up just seeming overcooked. But it was a 10/10 here. The proportions are huge, so it's easy to over order. The crab rangoons were good on the portions and crispness and not overly filled with cream cheese which is nice. The noodles were good, pretty average, same with the Mac salad. The garlic shrimp was a bit overly garlic-y, but it was still good. If you're looking for a new Hawaiian spot, definitely check out TK Cafe. The proportions are huge and the taste is amazing. If I'm ever in Monrovia again, I'd definitely be stopping by!
