And don't let me forget parts and knowledge. I do believe he even mentioned a track for R/C cars in the back. So if you have a hobby , not woodworking related or along that lines this is the place. Next, I took in a Traxxas battery that I had for one year, was told it was dead, and they offered to sell me a new one for $80. I contacted Traxxas and was told they have a one year replacement warranty. I was also told that I can swap out dead batteries for new batteries for %50 off. The HobbyTown employee withheld this information. Also, the employees seem very disinterested in helping and only offer advice that will help them achieve maximum profit, not long term customers. It pains me to have to say that shopping online is better than in person, but here we are.

I have shopped at so many card shops, and I'm gonna give my opinion on it. More than likely you are not going to be greeted like you just walked into a corporate retailer that has the "six feet rule." There are some outliers and shop owners and employees that are super engaging and chatty. But like 9 out of 10 times in card shops it's usually a quiet not in the mood to chit chat kinda vibe. Most everyone just says hello when ya walk in. I've personally had some good conversations with the guys who work here. But at the end of the day, not everyone plays the same TCG runs the same colors/strats or knows every card ever created among like 10 major games. Do your fuckin homework before you pull up. There are literally endless amounts of internet resources. Now to the important stuff. I really love the way you order singles, you literally text them your order. They reply when it's done and give you pre tax price. Shop is clean and organized and they have crazy old sets. I play MTG so it's a mecca to me. They pretty much have whatever I order and the cards are in good condition. You also get free packs after you buy a certain amount of cards which is rad. It's literally a reward for "just buying singles" You gotta pop into this shop if you play TCGs. Its a really good one.

Bad bad owner... Took the copter to another hobby shop and had its diagnostics checked and half the copter was not functional. He sold me his banged up personal project. Ass"@&&! Asked for a refund and stated,"What do you think this is Walmart?" The place looks run down and that's what it is. Be weary....

Though I don't make much time for puzzles, it's a phenomenal local business to support by enrolling in a monthly membership. Every room of this converted home contains shelves of jigsaw puzzles from floor to ceiling. I could spend hours here. It feels special being local because I like to physically walk around to select my monthly puzzles, though they ship around the country. Everyone who works here is wonderfully helpful. They're impressively organized in their puzzle borrowing system. There's puzzles for sale as well. Someday I'd love to check out one of the monthly jigsaw puzzle competitions - people seem hardcore. Horrible customer service experience tonight with Lisa and the manager on duty. The only positive…read moreemployee was Emerson, who genuinely tried to help but was told by Lisa and the manager not to assist us. It's sad to think of other customers having to go through this kind of treatment. I came in around 8pm and at 8:30pm asked to have fabric cut--30 minutes before closing. I was told they could only cut three fabrics due to it being so close to closing time. We had wanted 6 fabrics cut but decided not to push the issue. Lisa cut two, then stopped early to begin closing down the store. At 8:53pm--still before closing--she refused to cut the last fabric, claiming it would take "5 to 10 minutes" to cut one piece of 3-yard fabric. That excuse is absurd. Measuring and cutting fabric is basic service, and there was still time left before the store officially closed. When Emerson stepped up to help, she was directly told by Lisa and the manager not to serve us. This was after we had already spent about $150 on fabric and other items. Refusing service to paying customers who are well within store hours is unacceptable. I understand not wanting to keep staff past closing, but when a customer is in the store before closing time, they should receive service until that time--not be dismissed early. Tonight's interaction was dismissive, unprofessional, and damaging to Michael's reputation for customer service. I will be escalating this to Michael's corporate management, because I believe the company would not condone the way this store treated its customers.

They were beginner 35 and 60 piece ones to work on with the kid, but they had all the way up to 3000 piece (uh, I'll have to pass on that challenge for now).
