I love candy even though I know sugar is bad for me. I was drawn into IT'SUGAR by the giant candy boxes they had displayed in their window. They have lots of interesting candy, including a whole bunch of unique and "gourmet" gummy bear flavors that you can purchase by the pound in bulk. I picked out two of each flavor that sounded interesting (including some cocktail flavored ones) and also got a bunch of tiny mini gummy bears (I can't resist those). I also got some 3D gummies which I had never seen before (but when you think about it, it makes sense so why do You not see them more?). I tried to be mindful of my bag weight but I didn't see any scales anywhere so it can add up quickly. The store isn't just candy, they also have fun/cute/silly/quirky gifts and gag items, toys, pins, apparel, etc. Really fun place to look around. I ended up spending around $30 on my gummies, some Japanese kit kats, and a little pin. I'm glad we stopped in but I wouldn't need to go every time I'm in the area. read more

HOLY SUGAR DIABETIS. WOW, it's the FLAVOR FLAV of candy stores BOOOOOOYYYY! FRANK gives a personal double thumbs up rating if you care or not!!! You can feel the rush of adrenaline as you enter the door of candy land. It's either that or your heightened senses are in overdrive from all the sugar particles in the air. It's Sugar sell's everything you cold ever want for candy lover's of the universe. Focusing on the primary task of buying candy in a store like this is challenging because there's so much sweetness for you to buy it's overwhelming. Frank heads for the gummy bears section because there the best he's ever eaten. Some of my favorite flavors are: Watermelon Pink Grapefruit Mango Cinnamon (New Flavor) FYI what makes these the best is there soft and explode with flavor, a rare trait for gummy bears. Now the negative about IT'S SUGAR is the price per 1/4 pound. Let's face it if you get on the excitement plan and grab a few bags of candy your at $100 in seconds flat. So beware if you have kids roaming around this store. It's no joke, you could be spending your car payment if your not careful. Come to the wonderful land of sugar you won't regret it! read more

If you're looking for a fun, unique, sweet or rude gift, you just might find it here. We've been to other locations in different states, and they're all pretty much the same. They've got everything from candies to kids toys like Shopkins and LOL dolls and more "adult" gifts. Everything is a little more costly than what you'd find at a big box store, but there are things you might be hard pressed to actually find at those places. So, it's a fun shop and worth a browse. read more

Diabetes to the max! Another It's Sugar location that I couldn't pass up. They carry your basics It's Sugar candy staples; bulk candy, giant candies, candy accessories, and more. They didn't have new candy as I've discovered at other locations though. However, the staff is always sweet and always seem happy being there. read more

Such a cute shop! This place is a candy lovers dream and offers all types of yummy candy gifts such as giant Reese's cups, giant Hershey bars, extra long Twizzlers, giant gummy bears and pocky along with tons more. The shop is small and they do have some candy that you can pile into bags and buy, but the main attraction here is all of the unique candy themed gifts and things like that. Some really cute things that I had to resist purchasing was the plush ketchup and french fries that had smiley faces, a plush ice cream cone and pillows that were made to look like candy. One thing I loved was the assortment of candy scented candles that I will definitely be going back to get. Since we are in the Halloween season there is a nice assortment of Halloween themed treats, so be sure to stock up if that's your thing. read more

What can I say about sugar. This place is sweet and sour depending on the candy you choose. The pricing is high but the products are unique. Located near the cruise ships we stocked up and had a yummy sugar high for seven days at sea. Well actually, we were in the gulf. Are you still at sea while sailing in the gulf? Are you really sailing if your on a ship with motors? Anyway, sugar is awesome!! read more

Don't let that g string picture up there fool you this a kid friendly place. In fact little bit drags me to it every time we are near the river walk or at least if my wallet allows her she does. Tons of unique and funny items here. For this difficult people to shop for you can choose from hilariously large boxes of nerds and other candies, giant chip chips pillows, frosty's boogers, and apparently a candy g string. These novelty gifts come at a price though, a fairly small box of frosty's boogers for example is a whopping $9 before tax. I go for the gummy bears. They do sell the candy in an old school type fashion where you scoop it out of a container which makes deal some of y'all out who are scared of kid germs, but since I work with them all day I think my immune system can handle a bit of it. It would be five stars if this place was a bit bigger since it gets crowded and if there prices were a bit better but I'm sure location factors into that. read more
