Whatever you do, do NOT get their mystery box. Barely $10 worth of product for $30 AND more than half of it was melted and I had to throw it away. An absolute waste of money. What a ripoff

I came here during a family vacation with my sister and niece to explore what San Jose malls have to offer. It my sister and I several times to find this shop as the San Jose mall is huge. Once inside you are in Candy heaven. I always wondered how they keep the candy fresh people are constantly letting air in yo grab their candy. I sampled quite a few...there wasn't a sign that said customers couldn't...but even if it did I would still sample before I load up my candy. My niece and sister were going candy crazy in the store. They had candies from different countries which I thought was cool. They had LARGE Reese cups and other huge name brand candies. I am not really a candy person these days as I am trying to cut back on my sugars. Therefore, I didn't leave the store with a bag of candy like my niece and sister. Anywho I got joy of making them happy and dealt with their sugar rush back to the hotel. Definitely, a must stop for sure if you want to go candy crazy and your kids! I enjoyed sampling and looking at all the unique candies.

Such great service! Staff here were helpful, friendly and bubbly:-) When I walked passed this place , I saw this adorable Hello Kitty wearing a chick costume holding a Cup Noodles through the windows , I just had to get it. A bit pricey, $35 but it's too cute to pass it. A friendly staff told me they had a piggy version(costume ) too but got sold out. With covid , the shipments have been slow and delayed, he said. So I'm glad I got one ! There were only two left after I got it. This is such a cute store with varieties of candies, plushes and toys. One of my favorite stores at Valley Fair.

I love to bump into IT'SUGAR shops. They're always so fun, location to location. However, this one is super mediocre with a terrible layout. Whoever decided this should be a location was probably desperate for a space. Not much to offer as it's so tiny, and the line curves around into the important bits of the store, making it super annoying for both browsing customers and people ready to pay. I still bought stuff, but it was not the same experience. Staff was meh, which is also unusual. Too bad.

We went here a few days ago. It was ok, nothing special. It's expensive place with very limited items.

I like how you get a little ziploc bag, compared to Sweet Factory where its a bag with the twist thing.

As suggested by it $9.5 a cube of candy and pretty packaging. I thought at a premium price point of $9.5 I would be getting good quality candy. This is my little luxury. And I was so excited. But.. We bought five cubes of candy, 2 of which are dark chocolate almonds. The almonds tastes oxidized, you know that rancid long expired nut taste. It's not edible. Both boxes have the same rancid taste issue. We live two hours away so it's not practical to drive back for an exchange or refund. So we called customer service. It took a long time for a representative to be available to help us but that's ok. The representative promised a full refund and shipping us a replacement. We weren't expecting that as I just want the two inedible cubes refunded. But I appreciate them promising to make it right. However, two weeks has passed and we did not receive any refund nor shipping confirmation. So we called again, which again took a long time for a representative to be available. We explained the issue, and were told the first ticket was probably not submitted. They promised again a full refund and shipping us a replacement for the two defected products. And weeks passed nothing again. We called a third time. And I really just want the two cubes of inedible candy refunded. And was told "well we refunded you". But it's been 7 weeks there was truly no refund.. After three long calls and empty promises I gave up on trying to fix it. I'm just expecting adequate quality for what I paid for but they can't deliver. This is not advertised as your average brand. So I believe customers should receive not your average product. I don't condone these empty promises and false hopes either. Candy is supposed to make us happy. But this candy caused so much heartache for us. We did everything we can to delay the review and try to resolve it first. I genuinely always believe a bad product could be an accident and the business is willing to fix it. Instead of rushing to review I always reach out and explain and resolve it. We tried and are tired. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. If you do buy their candy. Please try it before you leave the place..

They have a large kiosk inside Valley Fair Mall. I do believe they will be moving in the future into a larger location in the mall and have their own storefront. They had so many boxes of chocolates and chocolate bars nicely organized and displayed. It was hard to decide what to get. The young lady behind the counter helped me make that decision. I wanted to try a few of the chocolates but they did not have samples for the items I was interested in. That didn't stop me from making a purchase. I'm a huge fan of orange and chocolate. My husband loves chocolate and hazelnut, as do I. The sales lady showed me the Prafeuille chocolate orange box and the hazelnut cream chocolate wafers. What I liked about these varieties, was that each chocolate treat was individually wrapped. I decided to buy a box of each of these. Checking out was fast and easy. I really appreciated the help I got from the sales lady I already know what I'm going to buy the next time I come back to shop at Royce. Both my husband and I tried the chocolates. The orange chocolate is a small thin milk chocolate squares filled with an orange sauce. It's absolutely delicious. I loved it. The hazel cream chocolate wafer is hazelnut cream sandwiched between crispy wafers dipped in chocolate. That was also very good. My husband loved it. Overall, we both loved their chocolate. It's very good quality chocolate with some unique flavor combinations. The customer service was great. I only wished they offered samples of all their offerings so you can try before you buy. I'm looking forward to trying their orange chocolate truffles next time.
