I ordered my favorite, dark chocolate almond clusters, as well as English toffee, chocolate peanut clusters, almond bark, and chocolate hazelnuts. It was delivered quickly and everything was nicely individually packaged. The two squares of English toffee I ordered were like two bricks. Massive and covered in powdery almond pieces. They tasted good, but were too hard and thick. I prefer smaller pieces of toffee rolled in larger pieces of almond. I wasn't too impressed with the almond clusters or bark, either. It tasted okay and had lots of almonds in each bite, but the dark chocolate was overly sweet and tasted like the type of chocolate used in grocery store candy bars, even though they make it right there. The dark chocolate peanut clusters were the best item. They had a wonderful touch of salt that was so delicious. I would definitely go back for more of those. Next time, I'd like to try a caramel apple and chocolate dipped strawberries. Both look scrumptious on their website.

Whether you're here for a sweet pickmeup for yourself or grabbing a beautifully packaged collection of individually wrapped treats as a gift, this location has got you covered! The staff keeps this store fully stocked and organized, making gift selection a breeze. As you walk into the shop, you'll be surrounded by walls of pre-packaged bags full of varying flavors of chocolates and in the center, piles of these personal sized bars for you to pick and choose from to create your own bag. It's been a while since I've set foot in one of the Ghirardelli storefronts and they've introduced some new flavors. Fortunately, they still offer a free sample (per person) so if there's a flavor you're interested in, ask to give it a try! On this visit, we were especially interested in their series of dark chocolates. To our pleasant surprise, they had all their signature darks all in one gift bag which included a 60% sea salt, 72% dark, 86% dark, and a 92% dark. In addition, they had a special discount for the gift bags which made it that much more enticing to purchase! Otherwise, the retail price can be a bit high and they also charge extra for additional paper bags. Overall, Ghirardelli is my personal favorite, and being a local establishment, it'll always be a top choice for residents and visitors. This location is no exception to that and the staff here do a great job representing the brand. Its location as an outlet makes the prices extremely competitive. Their gift bags are presented with vibrant colors, perfect for any occasion. As an adult coming into this candy shop, I am always ready to get chocolate wasted!

There are so many different flavors and a variety of savory and sweet snacks and candies. The pricing is a bit confusing. I wanted a simple pumpkin piñata, nothing over the top. Besides not being ready when I asked for it to be ready, it was still not ready the following day when they said it would be ready. It was incredibly unprofessional that it would not be ready when the order was placed. And I came over two weeks to order it, and asked if they would be able to have it done because I understand how much work goes into it. And if they were going to be unable to fulfill my piñata order they could have just said it and I would have understood. I didn't pay $98 for a piñata to have this outcome. I drove out from Central Valley to come get this piñata also, because I knew their quality and trusted them. There was no remorse or apologizing for not having it ready. At my party, It fell apart immediately when I hung it on the string to have all my kids hit it. And I had barely put any candy in it. Not even 1/4 of the way full. Was not heavy one bit, very disappointing for myself and all of the kids. Had to tie string all around the piñata in order to allow some kids to at least has a few hits to it. Definitely never ever going to come here again. Incredibly sad because I've been buying here for almost 4 years.
