This place is quick and easy. Honest people with good attitude. Even on a hot summer day all of the employees have a smile on their face. About average price for recycling, you can earn more if you come on a Tuesday but the wait will be longer because it's busy. read more

A reliable recycler. Never had a problem doing the recycling and paid in cash. Lines not very long.

We only go here now, the kids are all very helpful, the place is kept very clean, and they give you a fair price. Tuesdays you get ten cents more for cans too. We have been at least ten times, and never had an issue. We also noticed the hours have changed to being open later, which is helpful and speaks to the demand for these guys. I've been to a few different recycling places before, and this one is definitely my favorite. Because it's behind a shopping center, there's plenty of room to park and unload your cans. There are tons of empty trashcans that you pick up and bring over to your car. The next step is to start separating all of your recyclables. One trashcan for cans, another for glass bottles, another for plastics, etc. Once you're done, bring them on over to their shipping container and they'll weigh and pay you out. This is the only recycling center I plan on using. read more

In an effort to teach my daughter the value of money, I made her collect aluminum cans for a couple of years. We ended up with garbage bags of cans and so off to Ivan's Recycling we went. Located in a parking lot, there is a container structure and temporary shade set up where you empty your cans & bottles into their garbage bins. They take those and empty them into a scale and then give you the market rate that they are offering. No need for ID or anything like that, they just weigh everything and give you cash. Daughter was pleasantly surprised that her haul netted her about $40. The employees working there were helpful and jovial - highly recommend! read more

I've been to Ivan's Recycling Center a few times now and usually during a weekday. With each visit Ivan's Recycling Center gets more organized and popular. As others mentioned, the staff is friendly, helpful and very efficient. There are a lot of garbage bins for sorting and like I mentioned the staff is efficient so they're constantly clearing and restocking the bins. I would have to say the least efficient thing around here is me sorting through months of recyclables!! Some tips would be; (1) wear gloves, (2) wear a hat on sunny/hot days and (3) bring some help! read more

I have used numerous other recyclers in and around the area and have encountered many to be dishonest and unprofessional. I had been in the habit of weighing all my recyclables prior to turning them in and consistently being short changed by most of them until i came to Ivans Recycling . They are very honest and i no longer feel the need to weigh my cans before hand. The two people Ivan has during the week that run the operation a re very nice, personable, and professional. This is the first time I have been here. It's actually located behind a grocery store. There were a ton of people waiting in line. The workers were nice and were helpful. The good thing about this place is that you don't have to take off the bottle caps. It's saved me a lot of time. Will I go here again? Definitely! I need to accumulate more things to recycle. read more

So been hoarding all these bottles , cans and Plastics. I was looking for a place to take them to. Ivens recycling as located right off of 80 and and Antelope Road. There were 2 guys today and the parking lot was a very full . I came in the afternoon I'm surprised there's a lot of people like me doing this in the heat. The big Gray garbage bins are out for you to fill up and sort your items. You walk right up no ID required and they are super efficient And fast with processing you and getting you out of there. read more

Visited Ivan's Recycling for the first time today. Very pleased - this is my new spot for recycling our household cans. There was a bit of a line but it went super fast. Why? Because apparently Ivan only hires positive, motivated, efficient gym rats. No really, he does. By the time I was finished there were three workers there, yes all super buff, just knocking it out. Positive, clean, friendly, efficient. What more could you ask for from a recycling operation? If recycling centers could have Michelin stars, Ivan's recycling would have 3! Seriously the best recycling center I've ever been to. We brought our girl scout troop here bright and early on a Saturday morning and were warmly greeted by a few young guys eager to get it all counted. They weren't intimidated by the truckloads of cans and bottles our girls had been saving for months. They cheerfully and quickly sorted it all and handed over our girls the cold hard cash they had worked so hard to earn. Ivan was sweet and offered the girls a hand washing/hand sanitizer station. This place is the only place to take your recycling. Clean, friendly and fast service. We will definitely be back! read more

Was in town to check out my AirBnB. Found bags of recycle cans in the backyard. Well Yelp to my rescue! Found Ivan's was not too far away and had amazing reviews. Arrived to the parking lot behind the shopping center. In the corner lot saw a popped up a 10x10 tent and large shipping container. Inside the container were three employee hard at work, a scale, desk and dozens of Rubbermaid trash bins (to fill up with recyclables). Step one - grab the bins you need, I got two. 2. Separate and fill them up 3. Drag over to the tent 4. The team will weight and pay you in the spot! Took less then a hour and I was on the way. Hand washing station is available. Trash cans for used plastic bags. I really liked this recycle center because they were fast, area clean, and paid me on the spot. read more

Lots of friendly staff to help out. They brought out the garbage bins to our car and helped us bring them over to the weighing station. I pre-sort my plastics bottles and aluminum cans, but as they dump them onto the scale, they pull out anything considered "scrap" (which are plastic bottles without the labels), and any other bottles that have a different CRV. These guys were very fast and thorough and kept the parking lot and the tent clean. They have hand sanitizer and gloves available, if needed. They are located in the back of Raley's, with a parking lot. I've only been to a couple other recycling centers, and the payout seemed similar and fair. First time here today and things went as expected... smoothly. I grabbed a trash bin, threw my cans in, dragged it over to be weighed and walked away with cash in hand in less than 10 min. Easy peasy. Everyone was helpful, courteous and without drama. Who would think doing a review on a recycling center could be beneficial-but it actually is! My visit to Ivan's was quick and painless just as I hoped it would be, but didn't quite expect it since anytime I take my recycling in to any of these recycling centers it seems to be a long, disastrous process. The young lady who helped me weigh out my recycling was friendly and helpful-greeted me with a smile and quickly helped me weigh my plastic and aluminum cans. I even had a few straggler wine and spirit bottles that I was sure wasn't going to make the cut, but she found a way to weigh those too and credit me the money. The thing I liked the most about my experience here was that they gave me the money on site, rather than having to go to a third party grocery store to get the cash. I will definitely come back to Ivan's recycling even though it Is not in my neighborhood and it's a little out of the way: because I felt like this was the best experience of turning in my recycling that I've ever had. read more

There are a lot of recycling places that have closed down so I am glad that they're still open.
