The guys who work here are friendly, hardworking guys. I've always had a good experience when taking my recycles here.

As a government worker, we've had to cover some expenses out of our own pockets recently because the new fiscal year hasn't started yet. I noticed some bottles lying in my backyard and thought, "Why not try selling them for the first time and see what I can make?" I brought in five bags and earned almost $15. I'm really pleased and will definitely be doing it again! read more

I have been going on and off to here for years, and put up with the random closedowns and frequent closing earlies and regular running out of money before closings, but put up with it because the guys that worked there were pretty cool and it was close and convenient otherwise. But after today's treatment, I'm not going back. I had all my cans and plastics in their bins when the weigher (who said he was the manager named Noe' or Noa) told his co-worker he wasn't going to take the metal. He made up out of thin air that my cans looked like they may have already been recycled. They came from my own kitchen's trash compactor! What a jerk. His co-workers and the customer behind me couldn't believe he was pulling this crap. read more

I arrived here at 9:15 on a Thursday morning. There was only one person ahead of me. There were three gentleman working, and it seemed like a very efficient operation. I am posting the hours that were listed on their sign on the day I went. Seems like going early is your best bet. read more

Gets the job done. Happy I don't have to drive all the way to Citrus Heights or Rancho to recycle my cans. If you are a regular at recycle centers, you probably know they are stinky, not stellar in the customer service department, and not a viable way to make income! This place is just fine. read more

Very simple place in town to recycle your cans. The parking can be hectic but they are very quick. The best thing about it is you can take your cash right across the street to WinCo and turn your cans into groceries. read more

Very disappointed this place always ready to close they are all packed up and ready to close by 4pm .or earlier .they post business hours til 4:30 we try to get there after our work and before closing .they turn us away even when they are doing nothing before 4:30. This place is not worth it! I showed up at 4:30 yesterday and they both said we closed at 4:30 sorry! So I leave my work 30 min earlier and got there at 4:10 and he said sorry we are closed. I told him you close at 4:30 and your sign says you close at 4:30. Sorry we close at 4:00 today! Full of crap! Not coming here again!!! read more

Beware of at least 2 common scams this place seems to use: 1: They will refuse to let you see the scale with an empty bucket. The reason for this is likely because they have intentionally altered the scale to steal some of your product without you knowing. 2: They will say your product is another, cheaper product. Be sure to know what you have! They will try to tell you that you have a much cheaper product and pocket the difference. If you tell them what you have, they will just say "oh sorry you're right (I guess we can't scam you this time)" Just down the street is an alternate recycler that is EAGER to zero the scale for you, and very happy to have your business. DO NOT GO TO PACIFIC RECYCLING; the next closest competitor is MUCH better! read more

Worst recycling place I have ever visited!! Disrespectful, condescending, They couldn't care less about recycling! They are lazy! Go somewhere else! It's worth the further drive to avoid these folks! The extremely rude attendant would not take my already separated glass, though plenty of time prior to his closing. He yelled at me closed and refused to take my small load even tho I was there and prepared. Though I begged he still would not take them. Very rude, lazy, extremely unprofessional. read more

ZERO STARS! This is possibly the most pathetic and shady operation in California. I had to deal with 3 losers who attempted to intimidate me attempting to withdraw buying all my cans and bottles after I spent an hour sorting and moving them to the scale 30 yards away. Because I put 1 rejected bottle in a trash bin. I am absolutely sure I was shorted at least $30. I had 6 fully containers of smashed cans and 5 Containers of fully smashed bottles and only got $86. These guys are running a disreputable business and they invite conflict. Unfortunately, for them they are NOT physically able to intimidate everyone this way. Their day will come I believe! read more

This is the closest recycling to Folsom! It's a little different that they are situated on a busy corner and are sort of tucked away behind the liquor store, but if you can snag a parking spot closer to the exit you won't have to carry as far. The guys that work here burn and churn! There are plenty of cans to fill and they do a good job returning empties for everyone to use! Good news is that unlike the place in EDH you don't have to remove the caps on plastic bottles and they have Ca$h on site instead of having to get refund money from another place. read more

This place rips you off. I hand counted my recycling because this was the first time taking my recycling to Pacific Recycling and I expected to get $30.35. They gave me $24.62 which was way short of what I should of received. This was more than a small discrepancy due to them weighing the recycling instead of hand counting. Even though it is a farther drive I will go back to using TKO Recycling. At least they give me what my recycling is actually worth. read more

Some of the employees are fun to chat with. Other's not so much. However this location is easy to access and quick service.
