I'm a sucker for a good scallop, and Ivory House did not disappoint! R had a magnificent cut of salmon with a giant tower of asparagus (not pictured). We finished the evening with a truly decadent triple chocolate mousse cake. Exceptional service as always. Five stars! Get yourself over to the Westwood neighborhood of Cincinnati; thank me later.

We came here for our second time last night, but this time brought friends. Both times we've come have been absolutely delightful! Our server last night was super sweet, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was all incredible and we got the mussels with the server's recommendation and let me tell you, she did not steer us wrong! Our order: Starters: aforementioned mussels + blue fin tuna Salad: wedge Mains: lamb lollipops with tomatoe cuc salad, hummus and naan + tomahawk steak (came with 2 sides and we got scalloped potatoes and Brussels) + Chilean sea bass with asparagus and mashed potatoes I was already full by the time the entrees came out but managed to try a bit of everything- the Chilean sea bass was my fave! The only complaint I heard at the table was that the Brussels were "too peppery", but I quite enjoyed them! It's definitely not somewhere we can come regularly because the price point is high, but worth it for special occasions and celebrating with friends!!!! The ambiance is great too- I love the glass table dividers and overall lighting!

Went to celebrate a retirement and Ivory House did not disappoint. The service was friendly and responsive. The food was delicious (special shoutout to the bread and cinnamon roll) and plated beautifully. Check out the Blue Room if you have a party of 8 - Wow!

Walking into Ivory House, I expected a nice dinner. What I didn't expect was an experience so moving that I left feeling as though I had been part of something extraordinary. From the very first bite, it was clear that this was more than just a meal - it was a journey. The Caesar Deviled Eggs were a playful, elegant twist on comfort, while the Crab Cakes were so delicately prepared that each bite melted with flavor. Then came the warm sea salt rosemary bread, paired with house-made butter - simple, yet so perfectly executed that it set the tone for the evening: thoughtful, intentional, and crafted with love. But nothing could have prepared me for the main course: the Frutti de Mare. A dish so soulful, so harmoniously balanced, that I quite literally almost cried when I finished the last bite. No. Really. I was moved to sadness and almost drew tears. The freshness of the seafood, the depth of the sauce, the way each component sang together - it was as though the chef had poured heart and artistry into every detail. It wasn't just food; it was emotion on a plate. The service was also phenomenal. Our server and the host were incredibly attentive with every detail, elevating the entire evening and making us feel truly cared for. Thank you Elise, seriously, from the bottom of my heart. Dining at Ivory House felt like more than a night out - it felt like being reminded of how beautiful life can be when flavors, atmosphere, and hospitality align so perfectly. This wasn't just dinner; it was a memory I will treasure. If you are looking for more than a meal - if you are looking for an experience that stays with you long after you have left - Ivory House is that rare gem.

Looking for steakhouse that's above average in the area? No, it's not Carlo & Johnny, nor Eddie Merlot's. It's Ivory House. Of the three choices, Ivory House surpasses in just about every way, from decor to ambience to service to food, it outshines them all. Decor/ambiance: eclectic, fun, unstuffy. The pianist was fantastic! Service: amazing! Elise was truly wonderful and genuine. Did a great job, especially of noticing things i.e. in the kitchen brought out croutons on a salad when they weren't supposed to or an iced tea not getting filled; she was even able to tell which of the two drinks I had I preferred more! She seems like someone everyone would want to hang out with! Food: Ivory House delivered a near perfect meal from start to finish. Appetizers - shrimp cocktail, bruschetta, and hummus were all beautifully plated and had great detail, like a charred lemon with the shrimp. The cocktail sauce tasted housemaid, and there was a nice zing to the hummus. Would have been nice to have the option of getting vegetables with hummus instead of pita... It wasn't on the menu, but I have a feeling if we asked, they would've made it happen. Salad - Caesar salad was perfect, everything in it was the correct amount. I enjoyed the pickled onions! Mains & Sides - my husband's steak came with most beautifully ginormous pad of garlic herb butter on it. The one bite of it I had was melty heaven. His brussels sprouts had good flavor, though he was disappointed in the amount of asparagus he received. My duck confit was so well balanced, I would be happy to order it again and again. Though I would've liked a few more beets on the plate, the flavor of the parsnip purée with the berry gastique was chef's kiss. It was like elevated Thanksgiving comfort food. Dessert - The seasonal cheesecake, salted caramel, looked decadent and delightful, and also like it could be shared between 2 to 3 people. I ordered two of the gelato/sorbet flavors, the strawberry lemon I could've done without, it needed more lemon, but the lemon basil was a sleeper hit! Sounds weird, I know right? I think it would be perfectly refreshing at the end of a meal, particularly in the warmer months. Oh and they had GLUTEN FREEE BREAD FOR THE TABLE! I have never seen a restaurant actually have a gluten-free offering for this! All in all, Ivory House is a classy but low key restaurant that is worth the drive!

First time dining here and although a little pricey, the food and service were amazing. Nice to have a fine dining option on the west side.

This place is gem on the west side of town. The decor is beautiful. There is a piano player the songs are wonderful. The service was impeccable and food amazing. I ordered the scallops with pasta. Seven scallops that were huge. The pasta cooked perfectly. Also ordered the lemon drop martini. Perfect sweetness My friend ordered the prime rib special which she loved. I will return to the ivory house in the near future

We were here on a Thursday night, parking is easy, and they have a parking lot. When we walked in, no people at the reception desk, so we waited a little bit. Finally got the girl to lead us to our reserved table. The inside decor is modern and nice, ambience is inviting. We got to learn that Thursday night is the prime rib night. So we decided to try it. Wow, the portion is huge, i never seen restaurant serve such big meat portion. It's is very tasty and well seasoned. The side dish is also very well cooked and tastes excellent. My only complaint is the steak knife, it's sooo dull and eventually i give up eating the steak. The dessert is really nice! Love the place but i hope they can upgrade their steak knives!

We went as a double date with friends during restaurant week. The restaurant was busy on a Wednesday night. All of us ordered from the restaurant week menu. 4 caesar salads, 2 pork loin, 2 filets, 4 mashed potatoes, and a couple of different remaining sides. The salads were good. The croutons were cornbread so that was an interesting surprise. The pork loin was underwhelming and not very flavorful. We would not order it again. The filet was good as well, but nothing special. Some of my carrots were cooked and some were still very crunchy. My husband ordered the elote corn side and only took a couple bites. The mashed potatoes had a sweet taste to them. Desserts were good but very sweet as well. All around a very sweet menu. Service was good other than my husband having an entire sprite spilled on him. That made him uncomfortable for the whole dinner and less enjoyable for us all around. I was underwhelmed by how the manager handled the situation. Our server handled it quite well though and was quick about trying to make it better.

Wow what a great restaurant and steak house. Enjoyed the wine and Tomahawk Ribeye. Located in downtown Westwood almost across from the old Westwood City Hall, this was a surprise find This place reminds me of the Precinct in its earlier years when someone stuck a steakhouse in a unique building in an out of the way location. The Ivory house, like the early days of the Precinct serves great steaks, a good vibe, eclectic people with a killer wine list. I keep hearing Westwood is a on the move and the place to be. This restaurant helps explains why.

Ivory House is my favorite west side secret. The food and ambiance here are top notch! They have daily specials, Wednesday is my favorite (salad, filet mignon, 2 sides and cinnamon roll for $50). The customer service is impeccable. My go to is the filet, Mac and cheese and Brussels! You can NEVER go wrong with that! The pork chop is a close second. Never leave this place without dessert! The warm cinnamon roll and ice cream is the perfect end cap, even if you have to take it to go!

Heard some good reviews on this place and decided to check them out. The interior of the restaurant's classy and nice. A good place for date night. First off, we were served with bread. The waitress mentioned that it's freshly baked by their in-house pastry chef. As someone who chooses her carbs, I'm not really a fan of bread but they said it's sea salt bread so I got to try it! I'm totally in love! It's soft and warm with a hint of salt! Super appetizing! It leaves you craving for more! Side note: they do charge you $4 extra for extra bread... so that really a bummer I got the filet mignon with lobster tail, and I actually love their lobster tail more. I can taste the hint of sweetness from the lobster. Dipping it in butter just makes it tastier and juicy! Love it! The filet, on the other hand, was disappointing. Feel tougher than the other filets I had. We even got a complementary cinnamon roll with ice cream to end the night!

We visited Ivory House for the first time Happy Hour. The food, service and the bartender were the best. The Happy Hour menu is a great deal. They even sent a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend!!

Despite having such a large group, drinks were out fast and there was plenty of seating. 2 things stick out here: Decor and the Drinks. Both were impeccably done. The nature meets wood and brick aesthetic is so purposefully laid out and when the eye cruises across the landscape it's so satisfying!! We had a LOT of drinks, but the jade river, el toro rojo, and pacific muse were our favorites. The drinks are priced pretty well ($12-$14) and the service was very prompt, always cleaning up empty glasses and clearing space for more people to sit. I for SURE recommend this place as a spot to come and throw a couple rounds back. We stayed for hours and drank and talked our hearts out! Thank you for such a wonderful night. 5 stars.
