Ivory Sky Media shot video on my wedding day in summer of 2017. From the start, communication was excellent. The team always seemed to have a positive attitude and they would respond to my questions in a timely manner. I worried that the Ivory Sky Media crew and my photographer's crew would clash or get into each others' ways but they seemed to work great side-by-side. We really liked the crew who shot our wedding. I could tell they were having a good time too. They were so funny but professional at the same time--they helped to keep everyone at ease. All the bridesmaids and groomsmen were raving about how awesome they were! The wedding highlight video was by far my favorite part of the whole package. Such a great way summarize the magic of the whole experience. The gimball features and the aerial shots they got of the Rose Garden in San Jose and the St. Joseph's Cathedral were breathtaking. There was no doubt in our minds when we chose Ivory Sky Media. We came across their videos on their blog and Vimeo, and fell in love with their style. Right when I got into contact with Allen, I felt so comfortable working with him. He was friendly, and quick to reply with our messages. Their prices and services were straight forward, nothing complicated, and very reasonably priced! Allen even gave me a discount (Facebook code). For our wedding, we had 3 videographers: Allen, Jennifer, and Frank. They were shooting all different kinds of angles, they even had a drone. How awesome!! The first time I met them, they were so friendly. Especially Allen, he was so genuinely kind-hearted, and even while we were getting ready, they were all so patient and nice with everyone. However, traffic held them back about an hour, but it was OK since we were kind of running behind schedule. Because of this, Allen was kind enough to refund me the extra 1 hour I paid for. How nice of him! The wedding video came in the mail as 2 BluRay discs, with customized cases. The entire video was amazing!! Previously, the editor had sent us a questionnaire that provided them an idea of our favorite songs and what style we wanted. All the songs they chose were so perfect!! The shots they took were beautiful, the drone shots were amazing! Then the highlight video was done and even that was also so perfect! Literally chose the perfect songs, songs we didn't even know much people liked or knew about, but these songs were all about us. It represented us so well as a couple. Video was nice, but too short. Photos were terrible, they were not edited what so ever nor nicely angled/taken. Photographer(s) don't listen the day of, what to capture even though they ask you. They were nice workers but quality work was very poor. It's a good deal what they offer, but I didn't know the picture quality would be terrible. Otherwise I would of gone elsewhere. I ended up editing the very few favorite photos eventually. read more

This company refuses to give me and my fiance back our $600 security deposit..i asked for the deposit back after he put hands on my little cousin and called the cops and created a conflict of interest between the company and us due to his negative behavior towards us and my cousin whom is in my wedding party! As "The" and "A" owner of the company how dare he treat people in such horrible manner and refuse my deposit back to try and force us to continue service with his company after putting hands a woman that is in my wedding party! How can they possibly expect us to continue our business with them after such bad behaviour towards a family member of ours and a wedding party member! read more

We hired ISM as our wedding videographer. Over all the experience was great! We've done the research and compared a lot of prices. Their price was the most competitive. On top of that they had the shortest turn around time. Most places told us we would have to wait 4-6 months for the final DVD, but ISM finished everything for us in 2-3 months! We also asked them to make a slideshow of us to be shown during the wedding reception. They did a good job and the fee was very reasonable as well, unlike many other places we went to which quoted us a high price just for the slide show. On our wedding day they showed up on time, and proceed very professionally the whole time. As we watch the finished video now, we are very happy with the shooting angles and the editing. They captured all the important moments plus lot of subtle details. And the music was excellent as well. Will highly recommend they to our friends! read more

Allen and his team videographed my wedding last September and I can't say enough good things! I found them on yelp and contacted them for an initial meeting. They took note of all the special religious and traditional elements I'd have at my wedding and worked out a detailed timeline of events and moments to capture. They worked with my budget and created a personalized package that met all my needs at the right price point. On the big day, they arrived on time, were professional and energetic, and worked in perfect conjunction with my photographer. They are honestly the sweetest team to work! As a bride you need to remember that the photographer/videographer will be by your side almost the entire day, so finding the right match is important. Allen and his team made us feel comfortable, they never rushed us, and were honestly just joyful and excited for us! Before the wedding I sent ISM examples of things I loved in other videos and they were so good about implementing pretty much everything. The final product reflects all the suggestions I made along the way. Also, as soon as the wedding was over, they were so prompt about getting to work on the video. Used Ivory Sky for both photo and video. I was nervous about using them but overtime grew comfortable and their pricing was the best we could find for a photo/video package (we didn't want to deal with having 2 different vendors) Upon filling out their questionnaire and signing the contract it stated we would get to pick which photos we wanted edited. This never happened. We received pre edited photos. Multiple pictures had their staff and equipment in the background- I had to ask for this to be removed which I've never heard of before and it took a decent amount of time for them to get the pictures back to me. A few days before the wedding I got a call from a girl named Erin who was my main point of contact leading up to wedding day. We discussed timeline, what we wanted photographed - I wanted us both getting ready- happened. My husband was to get pictures with his party at his hotel and with his family due to very limited time at our venue- never happened. I wanted photos of me walking down the aisle and brandons reaction - never happened. They set up outside of our guests and shot pictures between peoples head , thanks? We wanted a lot of photos of my husband and I and I wasn't too concerned with pictures of the guests- this was a good chunk of our photos we received. We discussed being pulled for photos of just my husband and I - NEVER HAPPENED, most disappointing thing over all. My husband and I literally have maybe 5 pictures of just us and it's very disappointing. I had to ask for photos of us cutting our cake cause we never received them, I asked for many different moments throughout the wedding and when I questioned why I didn't get to pick my photos I was sent back unedited, raw photos of events I asked for and told this is all they had.... I asked for the entire roll of my wedding photos that I paid for, and never received this. I paid for extra hours and an extra photographer to get the most moments captured and it didn't happened. I've been married 2yrs and have no desire to ever print out my wedding photos and I want a do over because it is so frustrating to look at them. I was incredibly upset and will admit to sending a not so nice email saying I would have gotten better photos and service from someone just starting out because they would have tried harder. This was responded with an angry email but never once did they address their lack of work. SPEND MORE MONEY - it'll be incredibly worth it. I also have another friend who used their services for their video and they didn't provide all the people, she's never received her wedding video and she's been married for almost a year. Ivory Sky puts lower prices to get work and when you get the most important day of your life captured and see it's half assed, you understand why a good photographer is as expensive it is read more

Allen and his team filmed our wedding in July 2016. They did an amazing job, and to this day, we still swear we would hire ISM again in a heartbeat. Everyone was extremely easy to work with, and Allen was always prompt about replying to any e-mails. We asked them to do a Same Day Edit so that we can show the highlights during the reception as well as at a reception we had the following night, and it was perfect!
