The address on their receipt is 146 W Calaveras Blvd. Holiday Cleaners is relatively new to the neighborhood (less than a year) and is run by a Vietnamese lady who is very nice and accomodating on the hours. The service is good and she knows what she is doing. For example, once I brought in 10 shirts and when I picked them up, she was able to tell me that one shirt was missing because the second batch of work hadn't come in and she guaranteed that I would have it the next day. She delivered to her words. I was happy about that since I have experiences of losing expensive shirts at other cleaners and they don't even know about it (or did nothing about it). Although the closing hour is 7pm on week days, the lady is always in and she doesn't mind me coming in later than 7. The price is reasonable. Shirts for $1.5 laundry, dry clean suit jacket for $5.5, shirt is $2.5 and pants $3.25. They don't accept credit card though. With orders bigger than $15, debit cards are accepted. read more

A small dry cleaning store that provides various services. From dry cleaning to alterations. They operate 7 days a week, from morning to evening. The owner is very hardworking and she's such a sweet lady. She seems to work from morning to night nonstop. She works hard and provides a fast turnaround. I dropped off my dress to get hemmed and asked if I could get it back within 2-3 days. She made it work and gave it to me within the requested time. I went to pick up my dress at 5:30pm and she hasn't had lunch yet. She told me she'll be grabbing lunch after I pick up my dress. I truly commend her for her hard work and dedication. Not only was she fast but she was also very nice. This place isn't going to provide A+ service but they're humble and hardworking people who will get things done. She's hemmed my Japanese denims; modernize my dad's 1990s ties; fixed countless buttons; and cleaned practically everything in my wardrobe. RUDE! The owner is the worst, besides being rude, she is a bold face liar. I had an issue before where my jeans were not cleaned and I told her about it but she insisted they were. I could see the dirt marks and they didn't smell freshly cleaned. I left telling myself this is the last time I'm going there. Unfortunately, I didn't stay true to myself and took another pair of jeans. They told me they would be ready at a certain time so I went at that time and she couldn't find my jeans. She was running around through out the cleaners and couldn't find them. She than tells me, she will find them and call me. She called within 5 minutes. I went back and she handed me the jeans and I paid her. At that point I became suspicious and decided to pull the plastic off the jeans. I IMMEDIATELY noticed a spot and I smelled them and they DID NOT have a fresh smell as if they were cleaned. I told her these were not cleaned and she became argumentative and rude. I grabbed my jeans and walked out. This is the last time I will be going there and suggest that you do not go there as the cleaning service is beyond the WORST ever. They don't even clean there as they don't have the machinery to do so. They outsource the cleaning somewhere else. STAY AWAY! read more

I've been dropping off dry cleaning at this location for a few years now with no general issues with the dry cleaning, except for them occasionally not having my dry cleaning ready on the date that was promised but no big deal....it happens. I owned my own dry cleaners for about four years and understand the business very well including the tailoring aspect. Last Monday I dropped off two of my expensive Italian suits and one pair of pants for tailoring and dry cleaning. The lady who took in my Tailoring explained that some of the rips at the seams can be repaired but you might see the thread line. The tailor seemed like she knew what she was doing but I would definitely say she's not a master tailor. I worked in the men's suits department at Nordstrom's for a few years and worked with Master tailors who have 50 plus years of experience. So I have a complete understanding of the tailoring process. When I dropped off my items for tailoring, the assistant went through each repair carefully. After inspecting all my trousers, she added everything up and the tailoring came to only $18 which was a pleasant surprise. I needed 2 trousers to be re-hemmed at the cuff. $6 dollars each. Another pair of trousers needed two rips at the seams to he re-sewn. $2 each and one more of my suit pants to have a rip repair as well which comes to the $18 total. They said it would be finished by Friday. Unfortunately I was not able to pick it up on Friday and came back a few days later on Monday but apparently she was not done yet. She said there was one more pant that needed to be finished. I told her no problem I'll come back later on today if that is ok, she said fine...and then, for some reason she grabbed the trouser that was not finished yet and lay it on the counter to show me what she needs to finish (which was strange) and that's when I noticed a huge half dollar size tear towards the seat area my pants (see picture)nowhere near a seam. I asked her what's going on, why is there a big rip in my pants. To my surprise she said that was already there. 100% if that was there I would have noticed it and I would have NOT dropped off my trousers because any type of rips or tears that are not on a seam will require a reweaving which only a master tailor can do. She even contradicted herself and said a correct fix like this would cost anywhere from 50 to $100 so it proves that this huge rip was never counted in the tailoring cost which also shows that it was not there when I dropped off the pants. I would have never dropped off these pants to a dry cleaner's tailor if I knew It could only be fixed by a master tailor and it would have cost quite a bit to fix. The owner was very rude and was yelling that there's no way that she would have been able to make this tear. Although when I own my dry cleaners, accidents do happen but I always took care of the customer because it was the right thing to do. I couldn't believe she was accusing me of lying which as a customer I've have never encountered. Even her co-worker kept on apologizing to me because she knew that the owner was wrong. If I realize this is how they treat their customers when there is a discrepancy, I would never have dropped off any of my items here. I recommend to never use such a dishonest dry cleaners who ruin your clothes and blames you for it. As a previous dry cleaners owner, I know accidents happen but you have to take accountability for your business instead of blaming the customer. If she would have taking accountability then she would have lost hundreds of dollars of future business that I would have brought. You are better off dropping your clothes off at a different dry cleaners as this one does not believe in any type of customer service or honesty. read more

Why cant I give them 0 stars? The folks here seemed nice when I first walked in on a Saturday at 4. I asked if they could patch up a pair of jeans in an HOUR. They said no it wouldnt be ready until Wednesday because they would close soon and because of MLK weekend. I tried to haggle with them so I could get them sooner but they said Wednesday was the soonest. I was busy all day wednesday so I came to pick it up on Thursday and it wasnt ready. I gave them an extra day and they still didnt have it done on time. The lady said come back and in half an hour. HALF AN HOUR later it was done. What the hell. Couldnt do it in an hour but all of a sudden you get caught up and do it sloppy in 30 minutes. And then give me some attitude when asking me to pay. Never coming here again. Glad it was just some old sentimental jeans and not any of my brand name stuff. read more

The lady was so nice. I used to live in San Jose area and when I first got my suit dry cleaned over in a different dry cleaning, I was charged almost $70. I'm really happy that I was able to find Holiday Cleaners because not only it is really close to my house,!it is cheap. I only paid $20 including my girlfriend's dress. Dropped a sweater with a stubborn stain off at Holiday Cleaners one afternoon, and about a week later, the stain was gone! I'm not sure what sort of magic they used, but the sweater is practically like brand new, which I'm very pleased about, as I managed to stain it almost immediately after purchasing it. Prices are reasonable, too - it was only $6 to remove the stain. My only complaint is that when I originally came by to pick it up, my sweater wasn't even there yet, and so I had to come back later in the day to grab it. In the future, it would probably be helpful for staff to give customers a time frame (eg "Come back Tuesday after 1pm"), rather than just a day, since their delivery times may impact whether or not your items are actually there or not. read more

I lived here for so long & never noticed this dry cleaner place before. Now I go here for alterations & cleaning. I directed my fiance to this place because it was nearby but I never tried it myself. He gets all his shirts & coats cleaned here & their so reasonably priced. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my alterations or dry cleaning. All alterations are done within a week. Tried taking my clothes on a Tuesday, it was 4:45 when I got there, they were closed. I decided that I would try again on Wednesday, I was able to drop them off. Pretty quick turn around for pick up. I was told that clothes would be after 3pm, I arrived at 5pm and when I got to the doors, they were locked??? Door was opened for me. Once I received my clothes, they looked great, with exception of 1 item which they claim they could not remove a small stain from. I got home and was able to remove the stain myself. read more

I don't want to say "it's because I'm black" yet at the same time, I really don't know. Upon walking into this Holiday Cleaners location, I wasn't even greeted by the lady whom was working there. She looked at me as if she meant to say, "What do you want?" She just kept looking. So I decided to break the ice, & say, "Can I get these dry cleaned?" Mind you, I had vintage sport team jackets with me -- with embroidered logos on them -- so I'm not sure if it was the fact that she never dry cleaned those types of jackets & her seeing that was overwhelming. But her response was a sigh, which seemed to be out of frustration or annoyance? idk. & she just looked away without any dialogue, again. So rather than I dealing with it, I just walked out of the store. & the lady just watched me from the entrance of her store, as I walked to my car, even when I pulled out of the parking lot, she was still fixated on me. Upon arriving, I was greeted with a smiles all around and the workers were very friendly in figuring out what I needed to have done. I was able to get my pants finished the same day and had it all done at a very affordable price compared to other dry cleaners in the area. While I was there, I also asked them about their dry cleaning prices and it was almost half of what I'm paying at my current dry cleaners! I just recently got a dress at Macy's for my friends wedding and it turned out to be way too long. I haven't gone to a dry cleaners that did alterations in a long time and of course had to check on Yelp to find one that was nearby me and had good reviews and thanks to my fellow Yelpers found this place. :) I stepped in on a weekday last week and was greeted by Thu. She was very nice and friendly and I had showed her my dress. She asked me to try it on for her and when I was done she helped me put some pins in temporarily to hold my dress to the correct length that I needed. It was very quick and she then told me to stop by in a week to pick it up. I just picked up my dress yesterday and she did a fantastic job. Not only that, but she gave me a great deal! The lady working at this store is friendly. She greets and talks to you in a sweet manner. For alterations, she fixes what you ask her to. Recently, my dad noticed his shirt was a little smaller than usual. We had dropped off a few dress shirts to be dry-cleaned. My mom bought a new shirt and compared it to the one we dropped off at the cleaners. The shirt had shrunk. My mom brought the shirt into the store and asked them to look at it. At first, the lady said it had nothing to do with her. She told my mom that someone else does the dry-cleaning and that she is just the drop-off/pick-up zone. The next day, she tries to convince my mom not to make a fuss out of it because she knows the person who does the dry-cleaning. Every day my mom comes back from the cleaners, she is frustrated and angry. A few days ago, my mom came back telling me that the people working at Holiday Cleaners pulled out a receipt, told her they have a policy, and gave her the number of their lawyer. They told her to call their lawyer if she really wanted to. My mom was so upset. She felt bullied and disrespected. Servicing jobs are all about customer satisfaction. My mom was definitely NOT satisfied. The people at Holiday Cleaners were nice at the beginning, but once they hit a snag, they'll drop that facade and show their true character. All my mom wanted was compensation. Instead of solving the matter in a professional, polite, and efficient way, the people at Holiday Cleaners were rude and inconsiderate of their customer. This place caused a lot of stress for my mom, and that in turn, effected the environment at home. So as a warning, you can go here if you want. It's cheap, sure. This is the best dry cleaning place I have ever found! I've had clothes altered, repaired, washed and dry cleaned at the lowest prices. Also, Ms Thu, the lady who runs the place, is very flexible. Hours during the week say she closes at 7pm, but more than a few times I've shown up at like 7:15 and she is there with the doors open because she is still working. She is the sweetest lady and she makes me feel like family when I come in. I recommend this dry cleaners to anyone willing to drive to Milpitas. So cheap and awesome! :-) read more

Came here to dry clean my first suit ever. The little lady welcomed me with a smile And a heavy Asian accent. She took my suit, inspected it. Took account of the items on the receipt. Asked me when I needed it. I informed her that I needed by Saturday morning. NOTE: it was Thursday afternoon and she had already took on work to supply through the weekend and she also informed me her daughters wedding was this weekend. And she could have it ready for me on Monday. Long story shorten... I had it by Friday afternoon. Suit and 4 shirts cleaned and pressed roughly 20-25 bucks. Came here again for a second visit a week later to do same and it's still practically a one day service! Try it out! read more
