Nature's Green Cleaners just stole me as a long term customer! I reached out to my normal cleaners to dry clean 3 jackets on Saturday and they told me it would be done by Wed, but I needed it sooner. I called Nature's Green Cleaners, which told me Monday. When I got there the guy told me he can get it back to me the SAME day at no extra cost! I was super happy, but what made it even better was when I picked them up, they looked like brand new! He even cut the threads that were dangling from the jackets, which I was actually going to do myself, but they did a better job than I would have done. I would highly recommend this place. Jai sold the business and as bad as it was before, it's gotten worse. Instead of working with me on optimizing their process to regain a shade of Peter and Megan's care for my clothes, they've responded with patronizing, aggressive, and defensive comments. Color loss, heat shine and wear, strong detergent odor, and shrinkage -- my precious clothes painstakingly hunted for and imported from Japan have aged more in 2 washes with them than they have in decades. While part of this is on me for not having the time and sacrificial clothes to find a suitable replacement, the new manager's attitude is shocking. read more

But the few times I've been here during the pandemic, their customer service has never faltered-- might have one person working behind the counter, but he/she gets the clothes/items to and from you and he or she is always friendly. Been coming here for over 10 years, so I was concerned at first when the business changed owners. It's been almost 2 years now with the new owners and they've done a great job. I think I've sent them over 150 different items: wool suits, silk tops, cotton dresses, dress shirts and they all came back clean, fresh, with no chemical smell! The only issues I've encountered were handled very well. A stubborn stain came out on the second try, and with a friendly attitude. An experimental item made of linen shrank, but we easily negotiated a fair replacement cost. Both the old owner and the new owner kept long or oddly shaped items in a separate area. And about once a year for the past 10 years, I'd come home and find they forgot to give me the one item that was stored elsewhere. I try to check the tally against my receipt but sometimes I forget to, so it's good that they remember to check almost every order. There's no question in my mind. This is still the best dry cleaner on the Peninsula. read more

Worst dry cleaning experience. My silk dress is ruined after sending it for cleaning with the shop. It is a hand-tailored dress made for my wedding, and has been only worn 2 times in my life. The dress shrank, the smooth silk pattern is replaced by wavy lines (see photos), and the silk threads were all coming loose from the machine rubbing against the dress (see photos). Needless to say, the dress holds a special place in our hearts and it was devastating to see it damaged. What's worse than having my wedding dress ruined, was how the owner dealt with the situation. He lacked any sense of responsibility and was eager to falsely claim the dress came in that way without even seeing it before the clean. I brought in the cloth to disprove his false claims, but he continued to show no remorse or care for our damaged dress, tried to place blame on others to avoid taking responsibility, and even said "it's not that big of a deal, it's not like the dress is ripped or not wearable." Also, when I asked how the dress was cleaned, the owner said, "dry clean". This makes me doubt if they are actually as "green" as they claim to be. While I understand clothing can sometimes get damaged during cleaning, the owner's reaction and complete lack of responsibility is totally unacceptable. This is the worst cleaning and customer experience possible. read more

By far the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had. Gave the owner my outfits, I had quite a few but I kept track of what I gave him. Here are some highlights of my experience: 1) I did not get a single stain out of my outfits - did they even do any dry cleaning or did they just iron it and hand it back?! 2) the owner claimed that I physically came back to the cleaners and picked up my blazer, which is why they didn't have it. Then tried to make it seem like I forgot that I came back to the cleaner to pick it up. The attitude and ego he showed was impressive!! I would most certainly remember if I drove all the way back to the cleaner to pick up a blazer, especially one I planned to wear in an interview the next day. Lucky for him, he called up the tagging lady and she told him that the lady who bags the clothing has been screwing up a lot. He looked around for the blazer and found it ragged under someone else's name after about 20 minutes. During that time, he gave me a nice long excuse about how that helper had found a $100 bill left in someone's coat and didn't keep it, which is why he keeps her on staff. After he found my jacket - did not seem apologetic at all and he still charged me the full price for my dry cleaning. I regret not checking if the stains were removed, but I was too stressed out about my missing blazer. Keep in mind the owner has no intention of firing the lady who keeps mislabeling the clothing. This will continue happening and he won't hold himself accountable for it at all and will blame the customer instead. Never again. read more

They lost my skirt, and then they found my skirt after I had to call several times and visit them more than necessary, and pro-actively follow up to locate the skirt. Yelp is unreliable. I have less faith in Yelp due to using this business. I would still be careful with this business. Keep it strictly to cleaning. They don't have a good system down when it comes to alterations and communications and tracking down specific items for alterations. read more

This place used to be the best. They've gone steadily downhill in quality. Shirts are coming back not very clean. One white shirt actually had stains on it that weren't there when I sent it in. Also, when you request to pickup a week out (which I think is super generous), they won't have it ready till after 5 ... which doesn't make any sense, but that's not even the biggest problem. This last time was the final straw. I had them let down the hem of a pair of pants, and the stitching is sloppy and crooked. What a sham these people are! lol -------------- For the high prices that they charge, I expect them to have my order ready when I spend $50 on dry cleaning and specifically ask for it to be done by a certain time that they agree to.
